Back at the capitol building, Arthur was then reading a report as he was looking at Leo in satisfaction.
“The light has truly blessed us with a miracle.” He was gleaming with excitement. Something the entire twelve families couldn’t do with all of their power. But Fausto alone was able to do it. This was a report of Leonora, who not only showed be ability to control of diviner from going rampant but also allowed her to train. One of the things that was never allowed before was to tire her out. It was in fear that her powers would go out of control, as many diviners face fears many years ago. There was even a report that she could start using her powers little by little as shown with videos. Even those of the Percival couldn't have done with their years of expertise.
“Yes, it seems like she is now able to use her power. He said that in a few years, she would be able to progress and have her power restored.” Leo reported that he was just as happy with the news as anybody else. It was different reasons, but it was a win-win situation nevertheless.
“Excellent!!! Continue to give me reports. If things go well. We, the order, might finally be able to reach what our forefathers couldn’t achieve…...” Arthur was glaring at the light as he couldn’t hide his excitement.
“Understood, I will.” Leo then left abruptly as he didn’t want to let his emotions overcome. For him, it felt personal when Arthur said that, as he was treating her daughter as a tool rather than a person. This was different as he wanted Leonora to live a long life. That was it. If it wasn't for the fact that their goals align, the idea of using her for this experiment wouldn't have crossed Leo's mind. Arthur very much knew this as he didn't seem to mind his rather discourteous exit.
“My if it isn’t Leo. How is my fellow minister!!” An old man said as he was walking by with his minister's robe. Leo properly bowed back as he recognized that robe as it had a distinct red color as compared to his blue color robe, showing it was a different family.
“Ah sir Peter of Agravain, what brings you here?” Walking across from Leo, it could be seen that it was going from the youngest ministers to the oldest ministers. Peter is near his 500 years, as he is also the oldest of his family, while Leo is in his 60s. Yet despite the age gap, there was a form of respect between the two as both with the same position.
“Oh nothing, I'm just asking Arthur about a new expedition.” Those of Agravain are the ones who pacify the country. Even after twenty years, the Liberties weren’t the only enemies of the state. Within the country, there were many enemies that even for the Diviners had to take time to deal with. Their expeditions are within the country, mainly against the Liberties; they are usually the ones in charge, hence why Noah was sent out. Those of Agravain will choose the personnel from various families and give the objective and let Arthur approve of those missions. However, there is one exception to the families that aren't allowed to send out. The house of Lancelot.
“I see well, I have things to attend to so I am sorry I have to leave so soon,” Leo said as he was walking away. However, Peter then stopped him. “Is there something the matter?” Peter then smiled as he was just as rude as Leo. It can be seen the two have always been at odds with each other. Despite the respect, they are as close as their age. They are very distant with no joy in between.
“You see it has come to my attention that your daughter is of a marriageable age?”
“Yes and what of it?” Leo started to get defensive as he heard that. Though Peter is well respected, he has never been the type of person who would control himself when it comes to a beautiful lady. Leo in fact, is quite the opposite of the rest of the family and even Noah who is considered the purest of them all when it comes to relationships. Something that Leo abhors as he has only devoted himself to one woman while many others of the twelve families has been rather open with their relationships. Then again, Lancelot, Arthur and one other devote themselves to one partner.

“You see, Noah is my son as well as the most promising coming out of our family. And he seems to fancy your daughter.”
“And you suppose....?”
“As friends, I would love it if we could create a marriage arrangement for the two.” Peter declared, which then angered Leo as he instantly created a light sword. But that was instantly blocked by Peter. “Are you raising blades on sacred grounds?” Within 100 yards of Arthur’s quarters, there is a rule that you must not use your powers as it would be considered rebelling. This is to prioritize Arthur's safety in case there is someone who would try to harm Arthur. Unless…..
“Are you going against Arthur's orders?”
“Pardon?’
“She is part of an experiment and can’t change her status without his orders.”
“Is she??” Another diviner then came closer as he informed him.
“Yes, she is off limits right now under the direct orders of Arthur. No one is allowed to take her or use her without the permission of Arthur.” Hearing that, Peter then frowned as he let go of the sword.
“I see my bad then.” He then walked away from Leo. But Peter then said something. “He if my favorite so whatever he wants, I will attain it for him.” That was the last thing he said before then entering the sacred room. Leo then walked away, not even feeling the least bit afraid of his words.
“Good luck with that as I will also help my daughter in what she wants and doesn’t want.” He then looked at the picture of Leonora as he left.
In a dark cave….
Tap tap, there was an echo as Gilius was throwing rocks around. It was loud as he was hitting it in the very dense cave. Hearing it, he was rather satisfied as everything was prepared. With the sacrifice of time, resources and men…..they were able to initiate the plan that everyone has been waiting for.
“Everything is ready sir.” A woman reported as she saluted Gilius. He then nodded as other figures walked next to him. Footsteps echo as more soldiers started to be revealed by the dim light. Lining up thousands of soldiers, were soon appeared one after another. Yet the dark kept anybody from knowing their true numbers. All you could know is that many of them had the same desire. All wanted revenge paid in blood. Focusing their eyes on Gilius, who had gotten this far were now directing their eyes to a stern bald man missing his left arm, who, despite his frail body, had a uniform with many stars, who clearly outranked Gilius. Walking with the military uniform of the previous regime, it could be said he was the true leader of the operation. Standing in front of everyone, he raised the glass to everyone.
“After years of careful planning, we can now initiate the revenge we all waited for.”
“Yes, the twenty years have not faded our anger,” Gilius responded as he was voicing what everyone was feeling. Saluting the leader, everyone followed suit.
“But let's not celebrate too soon.”
“Yes, this is where the real mission starts,” Gilius said as he looked at all of them. Pouring a cup, he then looked at each of them. “This drink is for our dream. For liberty!!!”
“For Liberty!!!!!” Every soldier then raised their cup as well as they toasted before gulping it down. Last drink they will enjoy before the grand battle. None would know if they will win or lose. But they know they will cause as much carnage as possible to appease their hate.
“We strike at dawn!!!! Remember no mercy!!!!” The general then destroyed the glass, signaling that playtime is over. If you have any regrets about the operation, it is too late to go back now.
“Yes Sir!!” Everyone saluted as the echoes ran loud, sounding the battle cries for war.
