Back at the combat simulation arena, things were rather eventful as Leonora was in the stands watching as a heated game was going on. At first, when they got in, Leonardo was happy as he was helping his sister and Karma to shoot. Especially Karma, as he was close to the point of hugging her. Teaching her how to shoot was rather nice. Until ten minutes later, when it all ended when Karma did everything by herself. She was using pistols and rifles alike, not wanting to be bothered with being helped.

  Leonora, however, was struggling as she was not able to take in the recoil at all. Also, because she was already tired from before, she would rather take it easy. Thus came to the next part, where the other two were then having target practice. They did a haunted labyrinth maze that was filled with zombies. It was a rather fun one. Using real guns with blank rounds, they were using it to work on almost real-life situations. The other two however were very competitive as they were hitting targets left and right. So despite the lack of intimacy, Leonardo did manage to have fun with her.

  That fun ended quickly as it turned to a fight between the two as Karma was now wanting to go against Leonado in a simulation fight. Treating it as a fun experience, soon turned to a real-life and death match, it seemed. Karma was being relentless as she was putting on a show. Despite her small, petite and cute yet sharp features, she had the competitiveness of any guy. This was while Leonardo was running around dodging her attacks. Leonardo was rather shy about shooting as he was finding this all too weird. Does he shoot her to end it, or does he get shot to let her win. However, he didn’t want his pride as a cleanser to be ruined either. It really is hard to go against her, he thought.

  “How romantic to go and fire guns with her. Now she is shooting at me. That is so romantic indeed.” He was saying to himself while regretting teaching her.

  “Found you!!” Karma said as she was shooting at him.

  “You gotta be kidding me!!” Leonardo quickly manoeuvred to avoid her as Karma wasn’t holding back at all. With no other choice, Leonardo had to fire back in kind. Using her instinct to avoid things, Karma was just doing what she thought worked, while Leonardo, being a season pro, was able to take cover left and right, avoiding all the attacks. Karma, though being the aggressive person, soon tried to flank him to catch him off guard. But Leonardo already predicted as he was pretending to be unaware. Appearing behind him, she then appears as she presses the trigger. But….click click..it was empty.

  “What?” Bam!!! Karma got hit with a light blow.

  “Sorry but you…ran out of ammo.” Leonardo said as he holstered his weapon. Karma then pouted.

  “This is stupid.” Karma said as she was not accepting the results. “Let's go at it again.”

  “Wow Leonardo, you are actually good.” Leonora said as she got out of the stands. “Karma, this is your first time so you shouldn’t feel so bad.”

  “Yeah don’t feel so bad. You were going against a pro after all.” Leonardo was trying to cheer her up but she refused.

  “Let's go at it again!!! I will for sure win it this time.”

  “Wait lets….” Leonardo was trying to stop her but Karma had already left to get more ammo. Even with calming features, his facial could only crack when seeing Karma's lack of femininity. Leonardo then asks his sister being curious. “When did she get so competitive?”

  “Uhmmmm I don’t know…I think it was around the first year in med school. She somehow had massive strength that we all never really knew about.” Leonora noted.

  “Ahh I see she really has changed.” Thinking about it, Leonardo realises that he was treating her like she was before and should be thinking differently. Before, she would be hardworking but would always need help. Over the time he was gone, she seemed to be more independent. Rather than treating her when they were young, treat her like someone who is grown up. Like they are both adults. Nodding to himself, he would change his thinking about her to meet her expectations.

  “Ok I’m back, let's go for another round. Do you need any more ammo?” Karma said as she was carrying a whole container full of ammo. She was really different……… Blanking for a moment, Leonardo was thinking that this might be going beyond just being an adult..

  “No I’m..” Before he could say anymore he heard loud footsteps that were coming their way. Hearing that he was prepared to defend the two, as he thought it was enemies in his own home.

  “Who is that?”

  “I don’t know but it sounds like high heels.” Karma and Leonora were listening. Leonardo then activated his weapons as he was prepared to fire, just to see a woman in a battle-like dress come around the corner. Looking at her, Leonardo couldn’t help but feel like this was rather the worst possible timing. He thought it was okay to shoot. It might be better. However, knowing her, it might cause even more problems. Retracting his weapon, he mentally and physically prepared himself for what he dreaded the most.

  “Leonardo!!!!” Revealing herself was Angela as she ran straight towards Leonardo. Karma was rather surprised about it and Leonora was starring as she wasn’t the least surprised. Angela just straight tackled Leonardo to the ground. “Oh how I missed you. Did you miss me!!?? Did you??!! Did you!!!” Angela said as she was squeezing him very tightly. Recalling this, Leonardo remembered how strong she was as a lot of held back memories resurface.

  “Yes…I did miss you so much that I wish I didn’t….” Kindly saying it, Leonardo was trying to get his gun. He looked at it, thinking if only he could….

  “Hey Angela, how are you? What are you doing here?” Politely seeing the situation, Leonora tried to get Angela's attention. Finally, realising there were others, even though she should have seen them a while ago, finally got up to be rather courteous.

  “Oh hey Leonora!! I heard you're going towards your residency. Congrats!!” Angela said as she was keeping Leonardo to the ground. It looked as though she was wrestling him rather than hugging.

  “Thanks, and this is my friend Karma. She is my co-resident, and she was also a former classmate of Leonardo.” Leonora introduced Karma, then politely bowed, even when she still had a crate of ammo on her shoulders.

  “Hello Angela, it's nice to meet you.”

  “Oh so you are the person that was friends with him." Angela noted as she then got up. "I'm Angela of Lamorak. It is a pleasure."

  “Yes we knew each other back in high school,” Karma said but for some reason, Angela was giving a rather impolite stare as though she was talking to a rival of some kind. Even though she was tightening the grip on the handshake Angela was giving. Fortunately, with Karma, who can handle Angela's strength, the handshake didn't seem to hurt at all.

  “So why are you here?” Leonora said as she wanted to get rid of this rather awkward situation

  “Well of course it's because I got done with the mission. We just finished our mission in the north west. So now that we are done." Angela grabs Leonardo up, who was being forced up to be honest, as he did not want to get close. "It's to spend time with this guy!!!!" Karma was then surprised as she looked at Leonardo. Though she doesn't really understand relationships, or love for that matter.... she does know when someone feels uncomfortable. Looking at Leonora for answers, she gestured to Karma to just let it be.

  “I never knew you guys were so intimate. You two must have been close.”

  “Yep to be exact, they have been close for quite some time," Leonora said, but that soon got the ire of Leonardo, who was looking at her sister to shut up. Leonora, being clueless, continued." They have known each other since Leonardo was a kid and were training together with Noah."

  “Really, I never heard of them when we were in high school together?” Karma recalled that Leonardo was the only diviner next to Leonora to go to school.

  "Well to be honest, our father wanted us to go to a normal private school, as father was one of the only ones to allow us. It was because of me that Leonardo was sent to school with me." Leonora said, but that made Angela mad as she was unhappy about that time.

  "Because of that, we couldn't spend time together.”

  "Well she's my little sister, what was I supposed to do?"

  "But that still doesn't explain why you never talk about her," Karma asks as she spends a few years with him and yet never hears of her. Leonardo sighs as he looks at Angela as though she didn't want to upset her right now. There was a reason since she was already crushing his arm.

  “Yeah why have you never talked about us....hmmmmm..." As she was smiling so nicely that Leonora and Karma really thought they were such a great couple. Which caused Leonardo to give his best darling smile.

  “It's so I don't brag about you so much!!!" Then he quickly looked away, acting as though he was embarrassed. This was because he was about to puke just saying those words. Thankfully, it was enough for Angela.

  “Ahhhh you always say the sweetest things.” Losing her grip she then went to cuddle with him. The two of them look in agreement that things seem to be doing well between the two.

  “Ah good to find love. Isn't it exciting!!!

  “Hmm yeah especially when they are childhood sweethearts," Karma said this then triggered something dark in Angela, really dark as she heard the words childhood. Leonardo then for once, got mad at Karma as he wondered why did she say that. Then Leonora quickly took her to the side to tell her.

  “Uhm Karma”

  “Yes?”

  “How old do you think she is?”

  “Uhm, looking at her with those tan faces and dark eyelids and her outstanding body.....30 at the least...why..” It was a rather strange question to ask as Angela looked so young. What could be wrong with her statement? Karma was wondering only to realise that Diviners only have a special trait that diviners don't like sharing to the public. Leonora, knowing it's bad to say a woman's age said it secretly.

  “She is about 100 years old.” Karma then looked at Angela and then at Leonora. She then took her phone out and looked at herself, then she then turned back Angela.... How is she this old but look that young. And why is she dating someone so young when she should be dating someone within her own age? To date someone so young would mean…..Karma was in shock because..

  “She's a!!!” She was about to scream before Leonora shut her up.
