After a day, Gilius was walking out of the house. But this time he decided to go out to a rather interesting place. After getting out, he was already aware that he was being followed. Jesse was already tailing him when he got home. It wasn’t a surprise since he has been here since last night. Though he was acting casual and rather stealthy, he still was found out. Thus, Gilius decided that the best place to go was the one place that many didn’t expect, as he had already planned it ahead of time.

  Walking inside, it was rather amusing to see Jesse's reaction when following Gilius as he ended up in a place that he didn’t prepare for. It was morning, and the first thing he went to was a casino. Really? For a man of his reputation, he would go gambling. Following Gilius, he followed him everywhere, which was confusing as he was walking around slowly, trying to get lost. What could he be doing? Until he went to an entrance with two security guards. Walking inside, the guard didn’t mind him walking by. However, the next person who walked by, though….

  “Sir, you need to have an invitation to walk in. This is a high-stakes party. If you don’t have it, please leave.” Seeing that he couldn’t reveal his identity, he then was going to contact the Avalon government to see if they could go in.

  “Hey it's me, I believe that Gilli..i..us..is..” He was going to report but then he saw several beautiful women come past the entrance as the guards all let them through.

  “I wonder who the customers are this time.”

  “They paid a lot of money so we better be nice.”

  “Who are the people going inside?” Interrupting them, Jesse was asking the ladies what was going on inside.

  “Just a young billionaire who is inviting all his old classmates to go gamble and have a nice spa. You know just to brag to them how successful he is.” The ladies were saying. Hearing that, he thought Gilius was just meeting friends.

  “Never mind a false alarm, it's just a simple get together…..yes…. I will stay at the front to keep watch.” He then went to a bar as he waited to see when Gilius would come out. Drinking water, he just focused at the entrance. But he was too focus on Gilius without knowing that there were other ways to get in. But Gilius made it so that it was the only entrance. Looking at the cameras, Gilius was smiling at how bad this guy was.

  “Well now that is out of the way, how about we get to discussing the issue at hand?” Gilius said as he was looking at Menace, who was reading a book. It was rather strange as it was a romance novel. Gilius wondered what was going on with him as he seemed more reserved as of late.

  “Hmmm...yeah don’t talk to me. Talk to all those guys.” Pointing at all the guys who actually cared, Menace went back to reading. Seeing him read with a mask on was rather strange for everyone. But still, he was part of the group nonetheless.

  “Alright….Anyways, right now we have succeeded in the recent mission. We should be able to move freely now.”

  “Then why is that guy still looking after you? I thought you said that he wouldn’t be a hindrance during the recent mission.” One of the soldiers asked.

  “He is...because he doesn’t have any more informants anymore.”

  “What do you mean?” The soldiers said. But then Gilius gestured to Menace, who was still reading a book.

  “With my perfect coordination, I was able to shift all the people I believed who were spying on me and most devoted to the order. When the mission started, I was expecting for half of them to be killed. I didn’t expect a good majority of them to die.

  “Ohhhh…” Everyone was in awe as Gilius thought that far.

  “Yes, and now they have selected many of you guys to be in my unit soon. But remember, we need to keep a low profile. Especially when we might be transferred soon.”

  “Does that mean??”

  “Yes, phase 3 of our mission is commencing. Right now, we will make contact with the agent code name thief.” After hearing that, everyone was now excited. More like a sign of relief as they knew they had taken a big step forward in their operation. This was a point that no one thought they would be able to reach, but somehow they did.

  “That means we now have control of what comes in.” One of the soldiers excitedly stated.

  “Yes but we must be vigilant. Because they are still very strict.” Gilius warned. Everyone then nodded as they knew that if a trace of this got out, then everyone’s lives would be at stake. “Right now, we need to link up with Thief and see how many weapons they have gathered. A cleanser is with him right now, so once we are given the go-ahead, we will soon link up with them. In the meantime, I want all of you to see if you can enter these checkpoints.” Everyone then looked at the map, as these were key defensive points that were essential. One of them being the armoury, two being the air force base, three being the communication centre, and finally, the hardest one being the Avalonian command centre.

  “Others are easy but will we be able to go to the communication centre? That place only has people they approve of. They won’t let any of us in.” A soldier commented. The others agree, as none of them could get in.

  “We don’t need to. We just need someone to destroy them when the time is right. Most of these locations must be identified before we start the attack. The more we attack, the better the success. And we aren’t the ones going to these locations.” They then look at Menace, who was still reading a romance book.

  “Yeah I got it. But I guess I have other things to do.” Menace sighed as he closed the book. He was rather disappointed as he couldn’t enjoy the book anymore. Before he left, Gilius said something.

  “So you know that I will have to ask you….that you are going to have to cause a riot here and there during the meantime.”

  “Meaning you want me to act like a terrorist of sorts??”

  “Precisely. Everyday I want you to continue to destroy stuff to distract the cleansers. But remember not to….”

  “Harm the citizens to gain support. I get it.” Gilius was trying to explain, but Menace finished it. He was already well aware as he sounded rather gloomy about it. Everyone was wondering what was up with him. But he then looked left as he then approached the ladies who were just leisurely giving spa treatments to several of the guys who were actually partying. The ladies were actually scared as they didn’t realise Menace was here. Some of them got up trying to run till one was stopped by Menace.

  “Is there something we can help you with??” One said nervously. As Menace then grabs something from his jacket. The ladies then move back in fear as they try to gain distance, only to stop in bewilderment.

  “What do ladies like in a man? Also, what usually makes you happy when you are mad?” Hearing that from Menace, they widen their eyes.

  “......” Looking at him, they were in disbelief. Was this really the guy everyone was trying to search for? But seeing Menace with a notebook and pen, showing that he was serious about this, it was hard to imagine. Thinking it was a guy who was just shy, they completely forgot about the fact that he was wearing a mask. Especially since many have donned Menace costumes as of late. Looking at each other, the ladies were actually excited. This was while the Liberties were looking at him thinking he was also an impostor. This is Menace….What happened to him? Even Gilius was wondering. Yet then again he didn’t care as long as he did his task. Especially when they were paying him a lot of money. A lot of money!!
