A mercenary in black must undertake a retrieval mission for his organization in a strange corner of the Kingdom called ''''The City of Rain.'''' There is a gem he must find before the organization will grant him his most desired wish. With this hope in his heart, and a resolve to no longer dirty his hands, he goes, but he finds that he may have to take more than the mission in mind. Note: This is not a novel, but a short story.
