A young man, known by his friends as "Rat," is given the choice between exile and execution. He chooses exile, and is sent to an empty town surrounded by thick walls. He is surprised to meet what appears to be the town''''s sole occupant, who introduces himself as Dante. Dante seems like a friendly enough guy, and Rat is desperate. However, as time goes on, he begins to meet more occupants of this not-so-empty town. His new friends continuously give him signs that something is amiss. Hopefully, he''''ll make the right move before it''''s too late.
