Sarah and William set off for their honeymoon the day after their wedding. They were vacationing at The Golden Pearl, an exotic (and exclusive) oceanside resort located in the south of the WildLands. Sarah and William’s suite had a beautiful view of the beach, which had white sand and an ocean so blue that it looked like liquid sapphire.

  Sarah and William instantly got ready for the beach. William wore a regur pair of blue swim shorts. Sarah however wore a two piece white swimsuit with gold trim.

  William chuckled. “Am I underdressed for my own honeymoon?”

  “Actually, I think you’re a bit overdressed. I would love to show off my new husband’s hot bod.” Sarah then kissed William on the cheek.

  They then made their way to the beach. Even though it was a private beach, fans of Sarah, mostly kids, would still come up to her and ask for an autograph. Sarah never turned down her fans who wanted an autograph. She was eternally grateful for their support, and always made time for them.

  Sarah and William then went to cool off in the ocean. William dove underwater and Sarah could not find him.

  “William?” Sarah called out.

  William then pretended to be a shark. He grabbed Sarah by the ankles and briefly pulled her under. William then let go and Sarah shot back up to the surface.

  “Gotcha!” William shouted after he surfaced.

  “You jerk!” Sarah pyfully said with a smile. The two of them then had a spsh fight.

  After having fun at the beach, Sarah and William went back to their suite. William was about to use the shower when Sarah stopped him.

  “William, I need to ask you something.”

  “Sure, what is it?”

  “Well, you know how we always have sex?”

  “Yeah.”

  “We have never done it with protection. How come I’m not pregnant?”

  William looked at Sarah with a raised eyebrow. “Rachel was right when she told me that you zoned out on that information video, wasn’t she?”

  “Give me a break! I was having a rough day!”

  William ughed a little and threw up his hands. “Okay, settle down. Here in the WildLands, a woman will only get pregnant if she wants to get pregnant.”

  Sarah was very surprised to hear this. “Really?”

  “Oh yeah. If a woman wants to become pregnant here, all she has to do is concentrate on it really hard while having sex.”

  “Yet another weird thing about the WildLands.” Sarah said. “How do you know about it?”

  “Sex education. It’s mandatory in schools here.”

  Sarah bonked herself on the head. “Duh! Of course.”

  William then went to use the shower. While he was using it, Sarah began to deeply think to herself. She loved kids, and always wondered about being a mom. Was now the time?

  William and Sarah enjoyed everything that the resort had to offer. They pyed golf (They both weren’t very good at it, but they still had fun.) They also pyed tennis, racketball, water skiing, racing on jet skies, and numerous other fun activities. And of course, there was the fine dining and fancy drinks.

  One night they went to a karaoke bar. The host called out for a couple to sing together onstage. William raised his hand.

  “Right here! We’re newlyweds!”

  The host invited them both onstage. As they got up and walked to the stage, Sarah whispered in William’s ear.

  “What do you think you’re doing?”

  “This will be fun, trust me!”

  Sarah and William made their way onto the stage. They picked up their microphones and William chose the song Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie. William sang the part of David Bowie while Sarah sang the part of Freddy Mercury.

  After their performance, Sarah and William bowed as everyone in the bar gave them a standing ovation. The two lovers had some more fun at the bar before going back to their suite.

  Once back at their suite, Sarah smiled at William and unzipped her dress. She then stripped naked and got on the bed. William smiled and also got naked. He then got on top of Sarah, and the two began making love.

  In the middle of making love, Sarah looked at William. “I’m ready.”

  William wasn’t stupid. He knew exactly what she meant. “Are you sure?”

  “I’m sure.” Sarah said as she reached up and gently brushed William’s face.

  William did have thoughts for a long time about being a father. He had babysat his niece Lisa numerous times. He had fed her, bathed her, and changed her diapers, so he was ready for that. William just wanted to be financially stable before starting a family. He had achieved that, and he was now married to the one woman that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

  “So am I.” William said. He and Sarah then continued having sex. Sarah focused as hard as she could on wanting to be a mother. A bright, golden light then appeared in William’s abdomen. It then went from William and into Sarah. When it did, Sarah felt a warm sensation flow through her body. It was a feeling of comfort and joy.

  A day ter Sarah and William headed back home. Sarah was feeling funny in her mid section, and she had a suspicion as to why. She went out and bought a pregnancy test. After telling William about it, Sarah went into the bathroom.

  William stood outside and waited. It was only ten minutes, but it felt like ten thousand years. Sarah then came out of the bathroom holding the test stick.

  “Well?” William asked anxiously.

  Sarah held up the test and smiled. It was positive. “I’m pregnant!”

  William threw his hands up in the air. He also threw his head back and howled. William wrapped his arms around Sarah and lifted her in the air. He spun her around as they both cheered.

  “YOU’RE PREGGERS!!!” Becky shouted as loud as she could when Sarah told her the news. “CONGRATULATIONS!!!”

  “Um, thank you very much.” Sarah replied. She was with Becky, Rachel, Lisa, and Naomi at the bistro where William worked to tell them all the great news. They were out on the patio in public, and Becky’s outbursts made Sarah cover her eyes with one hand in embarrassment.

  “Hey, you're not trying to upstage my wedding are you?” Rachel pyfully teased.

  “Rex, I’m only a few days pregnant.” Sarah said. “I won’t show for a while. You and Lisa’s wedding is still going to be the main focus. I just won’t be able to join in the toast with champagne.”

  “Don’t worry, we’ll provide you sparkling apple juice.” Lisa said.

  “Sarah is pregnant, and you two are about to get married. EEE! I am so excited!” Becky blurted out. She looked at Naomi. “So, what pns do you and Darby have?”

  “Not really. Darby and I really enjoy what we currently have. We really don’t want to change anything just yet.” Naomi replied.

  Sarah smiled as she reached over and pced her hand on top of Naomi’s. “Not one of us is ever going to force you into anything. You live your life the way you want to live it Naomi.”

  Naomi smiled back at Sarah. “Thanks Sarah. You have always been a great friend.”

  A couple of weeks ter, the day of Rachel and Lisa’s wedding arrived. Becky was the maid of honor, and Sarah was one of the bride’s maids. Sarah really didn’t mind not being the maid of honor. She knew that Rachel and Becky had known each other longer, and that it was Becky who helped Rachel adjust to life in the WildLands when she first crossed over.

  The wedding was held outside by a ke. Rachel wore a white dress, while Lisa wore a white suite and tie. The justice of the peace gave the same speech that was said at Sarah and William’s wedding.

  “And now, the two brides have opted to save their own vows.” The justice said.

  Rachel went first. “Lisa, from the first moment I saw you my heart swelled with love. You were, and are, the most beautiful woman that I have ever seen. You make me feel special, both physically and emotionally. I will always love you.”

  Lisa took a moment before speaking. “Rachel, you are the light in my life. For the longest time in my life I was bitter, even after coming to the WildLands. I built up a hard shell to protect myself. But after meeting you, I was convinced to come out of my shell. You have brought passion into my life. And for that, I am eternally grateful. I love you, now and forever.”

  Lisa then took her and Rachel’s rings out of her pocket. She pced a ring on Rachel’s finger, and Rachel pced the other ring on Lisa’s. The two then signed a marriage certificate.

  “By the power vested in me by The Capitol, I now pronounce wife and wife. The brides may now kiss.” The Justice of the peace said.

  Rachel and Lisa kissed. Becky could not help but to cheer.

  The reception was also held outside, and once again Becky got to be the DJ. Rachel and Lisa had their first dance set to Everything I do (I do it for you) By Brian Adams.

  At the reception Sarah was approached by Miss Valda and Coach Hooves.

  “Sarah, I wanted to congratute you on becoming pregnant.” Miss Valda said with a smile.

  “Thank you very much. William and I both gave it a lot of thought, and we decided that we were ready to have a child.”

  “You don’t have to worry about your spot on the team.” Coach hooves said. “Take as much time off as you need. You will still get paid because of maternity leave.”

  “That is very kind of you. So, who will be taking up my and Lisa’s positions while we’re gone?”

  “Don’t worry, there are plenty of girls on the team who are eager to hold your spots while you’re gone.” Miss Valda said.

  The time then came for Rachel to throw the bouquet. She turned around and tossed the bouquet over her head, and it was caught by Naomi.

  “Way to go, Naomi!” Becky said. “Does this foretell the future for you and Darby?”

  Naomi buried her face in the bouquet out of embarrassment. Sarah soon came to her aide.

  “Becky, we’ve talked about this. Naomi does not have to rush into anything that she is not ready for.”

  “You’re right, I’m sorry.” Becky said.

  “Thank you.” Naomi said to Sarah through the bouquet. Sarah smiled at Naomi and winked.
