Madness

The efficiency in the lords mansion was A+, the blood was transported under thirty minutes, a total of fifty liter was brought. The woman had already been transported to the operating table, while the pod kept her at an inch of her life it was obstructing me so she was moved.

After silently locking her on the table I directly plugged her to the machines. There were three machines being used, where the bad blood was going to flow to, where the new blood was stored and the turbo generator.

The turbo generator basically speeds up the suction of the blood making the otherwise slow process fast, apparently doctors frown upon it because it was too risky to use but I’m not a doctor, call me a mad scientist for now.

Mr. Allen came in at this moment with some men behind him carrying a rge insuted box which contains the organs we were to use, he directed them to store it before meeting me.

  “We’re starting now?”

Mr. Allen asked as he wore his gloves and with a nod I started the machines . The electrocardiogram beeped to life as her heart rate was dispyed, as expected there were barely movement but they were there.

Mr. Allen gnced at the electrocardiogram and silently pumped the turbo generator to the maximum and her blood was rapidly sucked out.

“What if she dies, this is too risky.”

He was right, the chances of her dying during this procedure was 90% but that percentage was based off of normal people, the immortals were a completely different areas that had not been touched before besides if they can live for a thousand years, they can survive this.

The turbo generator was really fast, all the bck blood in her body were soon flowing calmly in the transparent box

  “pour the first ten liter.”

Mr. Allen moved quickly and poured the blood into the open machine which directly moved into her blood stream, my gaze had been on the electrocardiogram since the start of the procedure and the moment the new blood flowed into her blood stream, her heart rate reduced significantly due to the absence of blood in the body and the heart being too weak to pump in another so fast.

Panic didn’t appear on my face as I calmly charged up the defibriltor and pressed directly on her chest. The spark made her heart rate steady again and the blood transfusion went smooth, unfortunately as blood was entering her body, it was also leaving her body so I couldn’t move around much before she died on me.

After using more than thirty liter and the blood still flowing out bck and hotter I knew the issue was worse than it seemed.

“your pn doesn’t seem to be working Arya.”

Of course I could see that, it wasn’t that my pn wasn’t working it’s simply that the blood couldn’t cool down the heat. I remembered reading about a crystal that some scientists from Samael created, they decred it a failure as it was useless unless it was in the blood stream!

If I recall correctly there was something that looked like that on one of the cabinets when I checked earlier.

“You’re in charge of the defibriltor for now! I’ll be right back”

Without a second to waste I moved to where I saw it earlier and quickly took it off the shelf, I returned back to Mr. Allen who quickly realised what I pnned to do

I refilled the blood once more and threw in five crystals in, we only had ten liter avaible here and I would rather not have to stop midway.

With the crystal in, the blood still looked the same while the crystal directly melted, thirty seconds passed before the new batch entered her body and I ughed when her heart rate actually went higher!

“It really worked?! So what’s next?”

“depends on how the blood looks like”

With that said I directly went to the other machine with Mr. Allen beside me and after a few long seconds red blood flowed out!

“Fuck yes! I’m actually stupid for not remembering the frost crystals sooner”

“At least you remembered it. Now what’s the next step?”

  “Cut her open.”

We didn’t actually cut her open immediately, we waited till half if the blood was flushed out before stopping the machine that sucked the blood out. With the machine stopped her body was filled with the cool blood and stored there for now.

With all the blood stored in her body I directly disconnected the other two machines and we started on the other part of the procedure. The wires connecting her to the electrocardiogram were swiftly removed as Mr. Allen handed me the scalpel as I directly cut open her body.

Her visible organs were definitely bck from what I could see but that was already expected, I’m more relived that there were no issues with her brain, I don’t think an immortal brain could be changed to a mortal one.

I had to transpnt only a few of the organs in her body, I say few because I really couldn’t touch some stuff and they could still heal naturally. The ones I had to change were dead like the liver, kidney, lung, pancreas, stomach, uterus, small bowel and intestine

All the organs were avaible in the box so Mr. Allen and I went straight into transpnting. The time passed quickly and we were on our st organ, the lung.

“I’m curious. The methods used for transpnting these organs are not the same. How come you know it?”

My throat was parched and I would rather not talk if I didn’t have to but he’s an elder unfortunately

“I… read a lot of books I guess, they just stayed up there.”

“that doesn’t expin how experienced you look”

“Ha-ha! You can call me a genius then.”

We successfully transpnted the st organ and directly stitched her up, it was a rough work but I was drained our already, she’ll survive it and besides my stitching was still better than the burn marks all over her body.

‘ wonder if she has a lot of money as well?’

We drained out the blood next before doing the st transfusion and pced her in a treatment pod with an IV drip connected to her. I slumped down on the nearest stool and looked at my bloody self with disgust and said

“I need to go wash up”

I gnced at Mr. Allen when I didn’t receive a reply with curiosity to see him staring at me with admiration to which I looked at him with confusion

  “you’re really amazing”

I ughed at his words. This is exactly how those old men and women Grandpa took me for jobs with reacted, years ter and I still find their reaction novel

“I know Mr. Allen. But you also should go get washed”

“let me clean this up first, you can go ahead.”

  “Bye.”

You don’t have to tell me twice! I went directly to the bathroom to wash up and by the time I came out Mr. Allen was already gone.

I went to check on the immortal, she was still stable so I went to the couch. Now that I was no longer busy my mind naturally went to madam, I hope she was eating well and resting well. Unfortunately this area of the mansion didn’t have any signal so I could only be patient till I was done here, if the other immortal could get here by tomorrow then I could leave at night. Wait this is a new day so by today? I’m too exhausted man.
