Arya’s pov

  Love. If someone had told me a year ago that I would fall in love I would have ughed at their face, wait. Someone did tell me that.

  Aqua is the most amazing being I’ve ever known, her beauty unmatched and her talent bedazzled

  “Arya over here!”

  I snapped out of my reverie and walked towards her, she was currently petting a stallion. We were at the Ember ranch in Měi qí, according to her she’s an amazing rider and wants to race me so we were busy picking horses.

  “I like this one, which of them are you picking?”

  My eyes gnced at the grazing horses before locking on a red stallion, I directly pointed to it and she nodded and said

  “Then I’ll meet you at the starting line, don’t waste time okay?”

  With that she rode the horse swiftly away, it’s sad she’s not clingy all the time but at least she gets clingy

  We were currently driving to Maosha mountain, well I was driving, she’s currently resting as it has been a long day so she was exhausted.

  It was nearing noon and Měi Qi’s yellow skies brightened up the city. In all honesty I didn’t want to rush to the mountains as today was our st day here, our honeymoon was supposed to be just a week after all but what to do, I wanted to stay… I want to spend more time with her alone but as

  I parked the car at the foot of the mountain and silently looked at the ascending staircase.

  Maosha Mountains was created as a challenge, the creator was a single woman who disdained false love words uttered by couples and designed the mountain. Specifically a thousand steps, if anyone can carry their lover to the top then they were truly in love.

  Obviously people didn’t care about the screams of a single woman but others found the challenge interesting although nobody had reached the thousandth step, this was where I pnned to test Lynn’s lover.

  I checked the time and sighed when I realized there were ten minutes left till the set time and set my gaze on Aqua, she was pretty in everything she did even when asleep.

  Call me crazy but she’s literal perfection, a perfection that is married to me.

  I curiously brought out my mobile as I stopped the ringing so it wouldn’t wake Aqua up and checked who was contacting me, Grandpa was the st person I thought would contact me but I picked up the call, Grandpa’s thick voice resounded

  “Little girl when will you get back!?”

  “Tomorrow if there’s no dey Grandpa, why?”

  “Tomorrow is good! I want you to meet someone, they have a job you definitely will be interested in”

  I silently frowned, whenever Grandpa told me this he usually wasn’t wrong as I ended up being very interested in the project but I also got too busy. Normally it wouldn’t be an issue but now, I just wanted to stay close to Aqua as much as possible. I’m clingy, I’m not shy to admit that, anyone else would be if they were in my shoes.

  “I just got married, Grandpa… Could they postpone this?”

  “Hahaha! Immortal. Are you sure you don’t want to check it out, little girl?”

  Immortal. I’ve never once met an immortal but my buried spirit of research had always wanted to study two things, the immortals and the corrupted and from what I’m getting…. I might be able to finally study one!

  “Where should I meet you tomorrow?”

  And he cut the call, I silently mused as to what would happen tomorrow as excitement bubbled within me, I looked at Aqua to see her still asleep but my attention was soon diverted by the car that parked next to me, I smiled when I saw Lynn before looking at the beautiful woman beside her, she was slender and didn’t look physically strong but looks can be deceiving.

  Lynn got out of the car and hugged me happily while whispering

  “Don’t be too harsh on her”

  Lynn’s lover came towards me with her arms outstretched as we shook hands, her grip was strong

  “You must be Arya. Lynn has told me so much about you. Nice to meet you I’m Měiyún”

  “Miss Měiyún the pleasure is mine. I’m sure Lynn has told you you needed my approval to marry her?”

  Měiyún nodded, her gaze calm

  “Great! I didn’t think I’d get to do this so soon but whatever. You’ll take the Maosha stairway of love challenge.”

  Lynn frowned as she looked at Měiyún with worry, my cousin was pure muscle so she wasn’t light but I was happy to see that Měiyún didn’t look fazed, she chuckled lightly as a smile graced her lips

  “Just that and we have your approval?”

  “Mmm. Complete the challenge and you guys have no issues whatsoever.”

  Měiyún nodded and silently took off her jacket which she pced on the car and silently stretched her muscles making their presence known

  “Sleeper build. I feel more relieved now cousin.”

  “I feel like you’re not. Are you also climbing with Aqua?”

  “Already did. Passed naturally”

  “Cocky. Then wait down here, it won’t cheat”

  “Ha-ha! Of course you won’t. You’re Lynn, if it were one of the guys I would, unfortunately, have to supervise the trial so you’re good.”

  “Ready”

  I beamed happily as I looked back at Měiyún who just completed her stretches

  “Well don’t let me stop you. Just take my cousin to the thousandth step and you’re done. I wish you all the best Miss Měiyún”

  She nodded and they went off, Miss Měiyún didn’t waste a second when she carried Lynn in her arms it was a sight to see, my gaze stayed on them till their figures were too small to see and got back into the car to accompany Aqua who was still asleep, I lightly kissed her hair before sleeping beside her.

  I woke up to the feeling of kisses being pced on my face, I smiled as I kept my eyes closed not wanting it to end but after she kissed my lips she murmured

  “Still won’t open your eyes Arya~”

  My eyelids separated and I gazed at that perfect face with obsession as I called out

  “Wife.”

  She giggled and kissed my lips once more, adoration swimming in those aqua orbs, her lips opened and words flowed out

  “I was deaf for a second. What did you call me baby “

  Without hesitation, I uttered again

  “Wife”

  Her smile grew as she directly sat on my p and kissed my cheek

  “Did you rest well baby?”

  “Mmm, did you have enough sleep wife?”

  “Perfect. Where’s Lynn? Haven’t she arrived?”

  “They’ve climbed up already “

  She directly pinched my chin in annoyance while she said

  “Why didn’t you wake me up, I wanted to meet them”

  Have I said I was utterly, helplessly, crazily in love with this woman? I haven’t?

  “You looked so comfortable asleep I didn’t want to wake you, you can bme me but I will do the same in a different scenario after all, you’re all that matters “

  Her eyes softly glowed as she stared at me, her smile never receding

  “Look who’s a smooth talker, how many women have you seduced with your lips huh?”

  She ughed as she traced patterns on my chest, my hands itched at my side but I knew better than to pce them on her, the car wasn’t tinted.

  “Are you currently married to that unsure one?”

  “…Yes”

  She kissed me again, and my body cooled down from her conversation and became hot instantly, teasing the flimsy self-control I had when it involved my wife

  “One would be correct it seems”

  “…. Right. Could you um get down now?”

  She smirked teasingly as her words came out in mock humor

  “Tsk tsk Arya, you want to fuck me at such an open pce!?”

  I ughed helplessly while trying to keep my cool but her roaming hand wasn’t helping

  “I don’t want to so can you come down? Please?”

  She hummed and pced a kiss directly on my colrbone as she trailed upwards, I tightly clenched the seat as I tried to distract myself but who am I kidding, it wasn’t possible!

  “Oh how I love you trying to control yourself Arya~ beg me”

  “Please please please Aqua!”

  She giggled and kissed my cheek lightly before going back to her seat as she looked at me innocently which I would have believed if she hadn’t done this for the umpteenth time and even with the regur occurrence my self-control when it came to her might as well be non-existent, though I never actually did anything when we’re in public, never took it that far… Technically

  With her no longer being a tease I calmed down instantly and my urges also went down as I pnned to finish this back in the room

  “How long do you think it’ll be before they come down?”

  “I have no idea. I’m not sure how her physique is”

  “Ahh… So we’re here for a while?”

  “That’s correct, are you hungry”

  “I want to be fucked, can I get that now baby?”

  I nodded and directly got out of the car, there was a dumpling stall nearby so shouldn’t take me ten minutes to get them and get back

  I stand corrected, it took me nine minutes to go and get back, I directly pced the box in the middle of the seat as we ate and I asked her about something I just remembered

  “On the ascension festival site. You’re one of the performers?”

  “Mmm. Since it’s at Aria I see no reason why not”

  “Then that’s going to be the first time I see you perform live? I’m excited!”

  “Cute but it’s still a month away, your excitement will have to be put on hold baby”

  I didn’t, if I had to wait for her, as long as it was her, I would do it.
