The two girls trekked back to the barn, Bridgette having decided not to put her sweaty work clothes back on and instead donning a loose-fitting, nearly sheer white sundress she kept in her storage ring for emergencies such as this. The thin fabric clung to her body in all the right pces, courtesy of the previous hour's exertion, her sweat-soaked skin immediately drenching the dress. Alice walked alongside her lover, adjusting her bandana crop top, re-covering her breasts, but her clothing and body were still stained with Bridgette's prodigious volume of cum and hay clung to her in the strangest pces.
As they approached the farmhouse, Alice saw that Colin had finished most of his chores and was setting up the wash bins, heating them with his magic in preparation for doing undry. He waved, smiling as his friends approached. "Hey guys! All done with your chores? I was just getting ready to do my undry before starting on dinner."
Bridgette nodded, pointing a thumb back over her shoulder at the field they had emerged from. "Flipped all the hay one st time, got it nicely arranged into windrows, should be ready to bale in a few days once it's done drying, as long as the weather holds. Baling will be a bit of a pain, but I figure I'll drag a wagon out there and use that. I'll head in and grab my undry and Alice's, back in a few." As she stepped into the house, Alice turned to watch her go.
"Hey Alice, you've got some hay stuck to your back - looks kind of sticky ... oh, son of a bitch. Really? I almost touched that, trying to help you out. Gross." Alice turned, blushing, and giving Colin a guilty smile, the outfit highlighting her curves as she moved.
"Sorry. I was just trying to come up with good ways to motivate her to do chores, then forgot to clean up after. It worked, though. She did a lot of work, she was a huge help in the fields."
Colin scoffed, turning back to his undry and shaking his head. "I'm not even a little surprised. There's powerful persuasion magic in getting to fuck the farmer's daughter, and you certainly leverage that to get good results. But anyway, I had something I was meaning to talk to you about."
Alice walked over, helping Colin wring bedsheets and carrying them to the drying lines. "What's up? How can I help?"
"So you know how I said I already had pretty much everything I needed from my parents' house, right?" Alice nodded, recalling the earlier conversation. "Well, as time goes on and this really becomes my home, there were a few things that I wish I'd been able to grab. Nothing major, just some books, maybe a few other knickknacks from my bedroom, mementos, family photos. Do you think you can talk Bridgette into us making a run to Defiance and visiting my house? It would mean a lot to me."
"What would mean a lot to you?" Bridgette asked, stepping from the house with an armload of sheets in her hands.
"I want to grab some shit from my house, if you don't mind," Colin said, helping Bridgette set the sheets down. Bridgette thought about it for a minute as she and Alice soaked the sheets, scrubbing them, trying to get all the bodily fluid stains out of them from their nights of passion. The water bubbled, soap suds and semen jellyfish forming a scum across the surface. "Eww, so gd I did my undry first."
Bridgette stuck her tongue out at the wizard. "I'll bet you have tube socks that are just as crusty as my bedsheets, so don't act all high and mighty." Colin blushed, unable to deny the accusation. "But yea, I think we can probably make that work for you. We should try to get there fairly early in the morning, maybe around dawn, hoping that Daniel and his bag of shitstains aren't fully awake. Then you can raid your house for the things you need, and we hustle back up here. That work?"
Colin thought it through, nodding his confirmation. "Yea, that would work. I probably need less than twenty minutes in the house, I'll mostly be running around throwing stuff into my storage ring, then we can head right back up here."

The next morning, the trio woke before dawn, preparing themselves for potential battle and set out on their trek back to Defiance. Colin's house had been right on the outskirts of town, so they certainly hoped they could avoid contact with anyone, but wanted to be ready just in case. As the morning light broke the horizon, they set out on their trek, walking down familiar country roads, no longer afraid of small bands of kobolds that might lurk nearby. They chatted and joked amongst themselves, but as they got closer, they moduted their voices to avoid the noise carrying far.
As they neared one of the final turns, almost able to see the town, Colin paused, holding up his hand to stop the girls as well. "What's burning?" Colin looked around, confused. "I smell burning."
"That's just your brain cells, nerd boy," Bridgette joked. "Too much time in the dark."
"No, seriously," Alice said. "I smell smoke as well." The three spun in a circle, looking. Alice saw it first, pointing and gasping. "It looks like Defiance is on fire!"
In the distance, they could see the buildings of Defiance - and a column of smoke just beginning to rise above the town. Fmes could be seen as well, but it was too far to make out any other details.
Bridgette shrugged, "Looks like a Daniel problem to me. Back to the farm? Abort the mission?"
Alice punched her lover in the ribs as hard as she could. "Don't be a bitch, B. People could be hurt. We should try to help."
Bridgette winced, rubbing her side. "Ow, come on. You know they wouldn't piss on us if we were on fire. Now they are on fire."
Colin shook his head, disagreeing. "I'm with Alice. A lot of them are giant assholes, but they're not all assholes. If we can help, we should. Worst case we get there, and they tell us to leave. We've got to try to help, not just sneak in and out."
"Fine," Bridgette pouted. "But if this backfires, it's not my fault."
With that, the three set out at a fast jog across the field, cutting to the nearest road and picking up speed, running toward the fire.
