Chapter 86: A New Arrangement 6

"Master, you must have seen it wrong." Tia displayed a strange smile.

"No, I didn't see it wrong." Kenley sensed something amiss. Tia seemed like a completely different person all of a sudden—her smile was unusually unsettling.

Just then, Tia, bare from the waist up, straddled Kenley in an instant. She extended her blood-red tongue, gently licking the side of Kenley's neck. He felt his hair stand on end.

"What are you doing?!" Kenley immediately pulled back, that chilling sensation making him extremely uneasy.

"Master, don't be afraid. Tia won't hurt you." As Kenley retreated, she pressed forward, clinging tightly to him, her long tongue trailing over his body without restraint.

"You're not Tia!" Kenley's face turned pale with shock.

"Hehe, Master, are you feeling alright? Tia is Tia—how could I not be Tia?" Tia breathed softly against Kenley's ear, her tone laced with amusement.

Yet Kenley felt no trace of arousal—only the eerie sensation of being watched by a wolf in a dark forest. That horrifying feeling couldn't possibly be an illusion.

Tia chuckled as her hands roamed over Kenley's body—from his back to his arms. The icy touch spread across every inch of him, making him feel like a fish on a chopping block.

Kenley couldn't endure it any longer."Who the hell are you?"

The moment he asked, Tia suddenly gripped his side tightly."Master, Tia is hungry."

"Get off!" Kenley tried to spring to his feet, but a wave of dizziness overwhelmed him.

His eyes flicked to his game interface—damn it, when did he get hit with‘Paralysis'?!

This seemed like a vampire's paralyzing ability! Was it when Tia licked his neck just now? No, something was wrong!

  "Ah-woo!"

Right then, Tia let out a soft sound and sank her deceptively adorable yet terrifying fangs into Kenley's neck.

  Gulp—gulp—

Kenley could almost hear the sound of Tia drinking deeply, his HP plummeting rapidly. It felt as if he were a coconut, being drained of every drop of essence.

Tia's face was blissful, utterly lost in the pleasure of drinking blood, as if she truly saw Kenley as nothing more than a blood-extracting machine.

Kenley couldn't speak or move, his pupils dilated. There was no pain—just the slow, inevitable drain of his life by Tia.

But his gaze remained fixed on the paralysis timer—only ten seconds! And his HP was down to 30% by the third second!

Which meant, at this rate, he might be completely drained by the last second!

Paralysis didn't mean a player was left completely helpless—Kenley was simply too low-level, with insufficient gear and no tools to counter it.

All he could do was desperately hope he could break free before Tia drained him dry. His imperial military sword was stored in his player inventory, which was in a dimensional space—if he could just regain control, he could draw it instantly!

  10%!

  8%!

  3%!

Sweat soaked Kenley's back. He couldn't move a muscle, but the moment the paralysis ended, he regained control of his body!

  "Charge!"

Without hesitation, Kenley lunged forward, putting distance between himself and Tia!

With a loud‘bang!', he rammed Tia off the bed, grabbing his imperial military sword from his inventory in a swift motion.

With his other hand, he uncorked a potion and poured it down his throat without pause. As his HP began to recover, he felt a faint sense of security return.

Where was Tia? Where did she go? As Kenley turned, he realized Tia had vanished from the bed.

"Master, I'm right here. Why are you running?"

A chilling breath brushed against his neck—Tia, like a venomous snake, had somehow crept up behind him, wrapping her arms around him!

"When did you—?!" This was the first time Kenley had ever faced such a bizarre opponent.

"Master, your reactions are so fast. Tia is so very curious—how did you manage that?" Tia purred, still nibbling at his ear, though this time she refrained from biting his neck.

Kenley struggled, but Tia's arms were like iron, holding him fast.

  What should he do?

A flash of inspiration struck Kenley, and he spoke quickly:"Tia, was this what you meant yesterday by that joke that wasn't really a joke?"

The moment he said this, Tia's expression shifted, her tone softening back to that of a bashful girl."Master, do you understand now? Tia really, really loves you."

So it really was Tia? Then what had just happened? Why did she seem like a completely different person a moment ago?

"I don't understand, Tia. Why did you seem like someone else just now?" Kenley asked, perplexed.

"Why? Tia is Tia, Master—what a strange question." Tia released him and stood gracefully, her cute face full of confusion.

Kenley let out a sigh of relief, but he knew he had to perform a full check on Tia immediately.

"Tia, give me your hand." Kenley demanded.

  "Okay!" Tia obeyed obediently.
