We zoom in on Calvert Tower’s 21st and 20th floors, with members of The Century Corps getting ready to make a defiant stand against Optica to save the world from her White World.
Zkn: The plan is that Olivia will fly out and try to grab Optica’s attention, then once Optica is nailed down by the other guild members, we knock her in the portal, sending her to the end of time
Olivia: Got that.
Ehl: And me and Vendil have to make the portal
Cosma: Also correct
Vendil: So, when do we make the portal, it seems like a taxing amount of work
Cosma: I’ll start casting a spell to feed you guys magical energy so the portal’s creation is instantaneous

Zkn (Calls through a hole in the floor): Are we ready to begin the plan?

In response, many Light Monsters appear in her place, ready to grab Olivia

More monsters appear, Olivia fights them off with assists from Falconer’s Falcon.
Zkn: Well this isn’t going well..

Zkn makes a massive astral bridge for the Century Corps to stand on to fight with Olivia.
Indica: Well you heard them, let’s go

The Bridge collapses completely and the party rushes back into Calvert Tower

Suddenly, Cosma begins speaking.
Cosma: The spell is finally ready

A beam tears through the floor and puts Optica in a bubble, on cue, Ehl and Vendil open the portal and Zkn creates a fan to blow Optica into it
Optica: Send me throughout time, clever, but I won’t be defeated so easily.
Vendil: Why hasn’t she been thrown in there yet?
Zkn: I have no clue
Optica begins slowly escaping and as that happens, Husk/Hyane begins moving
Falconer: Hyane…what are you doing?
Husk/Hyane: I have to bear myself for all the wrong I have done, and put myself aside
Gladian: Hey man what are you saying
Husk/Hyane: Unless Optica is defeated, there will be no joy, no love, no sadness and a still world, unmoving and ugly
Juni: Dude, what are you about to do?

Husk/Hyane jumps through the hole and latches onto the almost broken bubble Optica is contained in

Husk/Hyane grabs Optica and throws her into the portal along with himself
The portal closes immediately
Vendil: Did he just…sacrifice himself?
Falconer: Hyane really did it…through himself right in the line of fire for us again…
Gladian: Well….Optica really is gone now…
Indica: We can go home now…
Juni: We don’t even have a body to bury…
Zkn: I don’t think Hyane would want you to feel sorrow, he would want you to remember the good times and the joy you felt and be glad that you got to experience that
Viridian: Our good friend is gone, let’s be sad about that
Cosma: But we should also celebrate, that he saved the world through a single action..
Iseri: We need to throw a proper funeral and send the warriors who gave their lives a proper send off..

As The Guild walked home in the present, at the far end of the Universe, Husk/Hyane and Optica landed in the distant future, at the end of The Univese.

Later that night….
Members of The Century Corps have all assembled back home, rebuilding The Guild but also they’ve come back home for a special service.
Iseri, who is now temporary Grandmaster, takes the microphone as 3 coffins ly together, away from three graves
Iseri: We’re here to celebrate the lives of three heroes, Xen, Beline and Hyane. Xen was the grandmaster of this guild before me and all of you know him, Xen was a hero who has saved countless lives, Xen is a man I was proud to call a friend. Beline was also bright as could be and she had previously given her life to restart The Idol of Light, Beline is a hero and we owe our lives to her. Finally, Hyane. Hyane was known by many as Husk and both sides of the man were admirable and people who I deeply admired. Hyane is someone who could always see the joys in life. So let’s mourn their deaths by celebrating their lives
Iseri blows a horn and the party begins. Falconer moves over near Cosma.
Cosma: Hey man, what’s up…
Falconer: Hey, make sure to say, what you mean, and the things you want too, too the people most important to you…because those are the people…that are the hardest to admit what you want too
Cosma: Was there something you wanted to say to Hyane
Falconer: There was…something…I really waned to say…three words…I wanted to say..more than anything else…in the entire world…
