Chapter 49: Problem Child
"Useless thing." Mrs. Wei slapped the table and said, "How come it's getting more and more troublesome every day?"
The woman knelt on the ground and couldn't say a word. I just sat there silently, listening quietly.
"Hurry up and think of a solution, I'll go take a look myself in a while." After all, it was not good for us to be too angry with the lady here, so we just sent that woman down first.
"You two are laughing at me." Madam Wei smiled wryly and looked at me, saying: "Since that child was rescued by Young Master Song's wife, she has been shutting herself off, no matter how hard I try to think of a way, it's all useless."
I thought to myself, "Perhaps young Master Wang has been frightened and with his studies being so intense at such a young age, it's likely that he wants to practice martial arts. I'm afraid he might shut himself in and not be able to calm down."
The two of them heard what I said and nodded in agreement. Madame Wei thought for a moment and asked me: "I wonder how the young mistress knew?"
I smiled and said, "I'm just making a wild guess, but it seems to make some sense." Actually, his symptoms are somewhat similar to those of my younger brother when he throws a tantrum in modern times, except that he might be suffering from excessive fright due to being thrown off the horse.
"Would the Second Young Master's wife be willing to go with me to take a look?" asked Madame Wei, looking at me hopefully.
"It's my pleasure to serve." I slightly nodded, not knowing if the King of Hell was punishing me for killing his whole family in the 21st century by giving me a sickly body in this era. Ironically, my body is extremely healthy now, yet I'm tasked with taking care of one patient after another... Fine, I've always been too kind... too kind...
"Master, I beg of you, please say something." A sorrowful voice from afar broke my reverie, and after collecting myself, I found that we had already arrived at Young Master Wang's chambers.
Madam Wei stood at the door and said, "I couldn't bear to go in. For several days, not a single grain of rice has entered her mouth, and she's already become so thin that she's unrecognizable." As she spoke, she wiped away tears, looking heartbroken.
"Don't worry, madam, I'll go take a look." I didn't have any confidence either. This kind of problem in modern psychology is considered to be autism, or it could also be caused by being frightened too much.
I nodded to the madam and pushed open the door to enter the room.
