Chapter 112: The Angry Mother-in-laws Bedroom Affairs

  Chapter 112: The Angry Mother-in-law

She felt a bit relieved and was about to get up when Hong Ling brought in the dishes. She was smiling and was going to pay respects to Lu Shi, but unexpectedly Lu Shi let out a cold snort and walked away.

Hong Ling looked at Lü's back with some inexplicable gaze, then looked at me. I slightly comforted her by nodding and smiling, saying: "It doesn't matter." My expression was unflappable, but she still didn't feel at ease, indeed having done something wrong. So I leaned in close to her ear and whispered: "Your affair has been settled, just wait for the good news!"

She held the tray with a trembling hand, looking at me incredulously and asked: "Really, really?" I looked at her simple joy, almost crying out of emotion, and said: "Of course it's true." I was afraid she would be too excited and added: "Calm down, lest something unexpected happens."

After I finished speaking, I glanced in the direction of Song Tang and Lü Shi, and Hong Ling immediately fell silent, nodding her head clearly.

She leaned in close to my ear and whispered, "The great kindness of the Second Young Mistress, Hong Ling will never forget for this lifetime." I nodded casually and said, "Go on in!"

Hong Ling nodded, collected her emotions, hid her happiness and walked in as if nothing was wrong.

I followed her in too. When we entered, Lü was saying something to Song Tang. Seeing us come in, she also shut up and didn't say anything, just walking away to one side.

I looked at Song Tang's worried face and thought that Lu Shi must have told him, so I didn't say much. Instead, I took the bowl and chopsticks from Hong Ling's hands and put them on the small wooden table at the foot of the bed, feeding him mouthful by mouthful myself.

He had only eaten a few mouthfuls when he said he couldn't eat any more, I knew he was unhappy in his heart, so I smiled and ordered Hong Ling to go down and rest first, saying that she didn't need to come and serve tonight.

Lü also knew I had something to say to Song Tang, so he made an excuse to go pay his respects to the old master and left first.

The house was left with just the two of us, and we stared at each other in silence. I fiddled with my bowl and chopsticks, saying, "Let's have some more."

Song Tang slightly waved her hand and said: "I'm fed up in my heart, I can't eat anymore."
