Let it be known that Oakwood, despite all appearances, isn’t normal. Not the town itself. No, the town of Oakwood isn’t all that strange on its own. It’s a relatively normal, small college town. If you ignore the forest, that is. And most people do just that.

  The forest of Oakwood is almost normal. It’s strangest feature to most is the old stories that get passed amongst some of the residents. The usual stories that all forest’s have. Except for one, the story about a strange creature of the forest. A shadowy beast that exists as a representation of the forest’s will, or at least that’s the most popular interpretation of the story.
