Chapter 64: Sister, Wait

  Chapter 64: Buying a Ruler

Zuo Ye brought Su Lingfeng and Moonlight to a courtyard in the east of the city and knocked on the door.

The time was not long, the gate opened, a thin old man poked his head out, after seeing Yoshi standing in front of the door, the old man's dull eyes suddenly flashed with joyful light, and he hurriedly stepped out of the gate, respectfully saying: "Master, you're back."

"Uh-huh." Zaoyi nodded and walked into the courtyard.

Su Leng's eyebrows slightly raised, she had thought that the Su family had a house in Jia City, it seemed that she was wrong earlier. However, she didn't say much and followed behind Zuo Yi into the courtyard.

"Uncle Xiang, hurry up and prepare hot water, someone wants to take a bath." Yueliang was the last one to enter the yard, but she was not unfamiliar with this place at all. She walked in smoothly while giving orders to the old man.

  "Alright, Mr. Moonlight."

Su Leng gazed around the yard, this small yard was not big, but the environment was clean and tidy, decorated elegantly and comfortably, much better than staying in an inn.

  In the living room.

"This is Miss. From now on, whatever Miss says, you do as she says." So said Saeki to the middle-aged couple standing below.

The man was just the old fellow named Xiang Shu who had opened the door, and the woman was his wife Fu Shu. There were no other servants in this house, only these two old people.

"Yes, master." Xiang Shu and Fu Shu heard their master call Su Feng "Miss" and exchanged a slightly surprised glance before nodding in response.

"We may have to stay here for a few days, you go and prepare."

Xiang Shu and Fu Shu retreated at the sound of his voice.

"The environment is not bad." Su Lingfeng sipped a mouthful of clear tea and said lightly.

"It's just a temporary place to stay, as long as you don't mind its simplicity, miss."

"Oh......" Su Lengfeng drew out a meaningful long tone.

Wherever she goes to a city, there is always a temporary place to stay? Is it a coincidence? Or does this guardian have too many assets? Su Lingfeng lowered his head and took a look at the teacup in his hand. This cup seems not cheap either...

After taking a comfortable hot bath, eating a steaming and fragrant dinner, the moonlight lazily returned to the room, hugging the soft quilt and fell asleep.

It's been a while since the little cottage under the moonlight was lent to Su Lengfeng, and he hasn't had a good sleep in bed for a long time, how nostalgic!

Su Lingfeng was in a great mental state, without any feeling of fatigue. After dinner, she decided to take a walk on the street.

Su Yun saw Su Lingfeng was about to go out, she didn't ask anything and quietly followed behind her.

Due to the news of exotic beasts appearing, Jiacheng gathered a large number of adventurers. Inns, taverns, weapon shops and magical pet shops were all booming with business.

Su Lengfeng first went to a pharmacy and bought some hemostatic and reviving pellets, which were essential items for spiritual practitioners without life-saving spells during training. They had also brought some when they went to Luoyue Deep Forest for training before, but most of them had been used up.

Out of the pharmacy, Su Lingfeng turned into a weapon store again, asking the owner to bring out several fire-type wands. After selecting for a while, he chose a blue product wand with three-stage fire-type magic core and bought it down.

"Miss, what are you buying a magic wand for?" Saki asked in puzzlement.

"I like it," Su Leng said calmly.

Sai's mouth twitched slightly, and he didn't continue asking questions.

"Sister, sister wait!" The two left the weapon shop and had only taken a few steps when a small boy in tattered clothes panted and ran up to them. He stood on tiptoes and handed Su Lingfeng a rolled-up note: "This... is for you, sister."
