*Annabell's POV
It's Sunday. Another week passed indifferently, yet everything was different again. Since Friday, that Mike and his minions tried to have, whatever their sick minds found 'fun', with me. However not succeeding. Well, mostly because this Jasper Whitlock appeared to save me as a knight on a freaking white horse. Don't get me wrong, but seriously I thought this stuff is only in romantic stories for lonely dies in their forties waiting to be 'saved'.
I was happy he did though. However, seeing as he never approached me again the whole past week and... I... could.. not find him. Hahahaha! Michae was ughing her head off. "Don't ugh at me, damn it! You're er than me so shut it!" I s her. I don't really have anyone I could ask about him either. "I thanked him so... he's got no reason to talk to me anymore, I suppose." I cluded, kind of disappointed. Why he bothered in the first pbsp; She questioned me as if I had the answer."How should I know that." I growled at her.
As pissed and annoyed as I was I o vent one more thing. This weird presence surroundialking little more louder to the forest now. "K. I've had enough. I don't care if you are real or not." I took a deep breath. "Probably I'm just losing it finally-" Yea, more like it, hehe. Giggled Michae. Letting out an exasperated sigh I retorted "Well, who do you think I have to thank THAT for!? If you were more like him and shut the hell up for a moment...!" Him? "Yes. Him." I stated firmly. "If it was her, she would be as annoying as you which is not, so I think it's him." I fell silent for a sed and then tinued more thoughtfully "You alk but I feel your presence EVERYWHERE."
I tossed myself in a tired aed manner on the ground, sulking a tiny bit. Laying there on my back, spread arms and feeling like I'm a part of the forest around me, I tinued my previous thought in quiet voice. "Your presence is soothing me, so you're like my hero and that's Major." I said feeling like something deep within me finally settled in the right pce. "I think that since I made you up, I should give you a name. I'm gonna call you Major. Once, I'll tell you a story about him."

/*Tuesday
"Ugh.." I hardly slept tonight. What a strange dream I had. I thought to myself when I woke up to being literally ed, round and round in my b as I tossed about the entire night. I brushed it off and threw the arm cloder my pillow. Brushing my teeth while walking around the bedroom, pulling out a separate pieces of clothing and ying them out on my bed, I prepared myself an outfit for the day. After finishing the m hygiene I slipped into my dark blue jeans, bdershirt and dark green hoodie and headed for the kit. There I only shoved an apple and a pack of cookies with chocote pieces in them into my bag and stuffed my cheeks with a banana while fastening the y beloved bck leather bat boots.

?" ... Empty are the eyes of everyone, WHO'S DEAD INSIDE.... "?
Reag the school I turned off the mp3 pyer and stuck my earphones in the pocket, making my way to the first css today, still humming the tune.

Hooray! We finally got to do the Civil war in history today! I was so excited that the first six csses went by so quickly. I hardly noticed the time passing by. Before the history lesson began, somebody sat o me. It must be the new girl Mr. Bryan told us about. I really don't have the slightest reason to care why she's here. It isn't any of my business anyway. No greetings, huh? So, I just prepared for the css and couldn't wait for it to start.

"...In 1862 brigadier general Paul O. Hébert, vihat The Galveston Isnd is indefensible, removed most of the heavy artillery from there in October, to lose it shortly after The Union attacked. Col. Joseph J. Cook, in and on the isnd, arranged a four-day truce to evacuate his man to the mainnd, doing so without any losses on lives. That's a lie. I thought to myself bitterly.
From that point was Maj. Gen. Magruder, who repced Hébert, together with Brig. Gen. Scurry, gathered infantry and cavalry and Thomas Green, el of the Fifth Texas Volunteer Cavalry were preparing the ter attack. Things were put into motion on the New Year's night, January 1, 1863 and they successfully retook the Galveston at the cost of losing almost thirty men and around two hundred injured."
The teacher turo face the css and tinued. "These of you, ied in this particur part of history, are there any bonus facts you know of?" Then followed an expet silend since apparently nobody had anything to say, I put my hand in the air. "Annabell? I thought you'd be the oo add something. Your work o assig was astounding, so what fact you'd like to share with us?" I heard rustling in the css, the praise I received and my rare tribution to the lecture caused. I could also feel all of their eyes on me ated rising my hand at all. Done, ot be undone. I thought, taking a deep breath. "Um, there was a story ...a ...poem if you will, found-" "Ah! Yes, yes, the famous 'Galveston summary'. A writing about the fights of Galveston with peculiar accuracy of the events, so, it is believed the author must have been a witness of them. heless, it has never been firmed and remains a mystery to these days. It is said there were only initials P. W. uhe writing and the work has beeo help with remembering all these important names by many history professors for a long time... Andrea please, would you read it out loud for the css?" He asked Andrea Parson sitting at the first desk in the middle row and I could hear the rustle of paper as he handed her the book.
"Of, course. The Galveston Summary,..." Aarted but I was already listening to a different voice telling the story.
*(Annabell's mother's voice)
Nearing end of the year 1862,Hébert's removal of artillery causes loss of nd. anaging the few days truce, evacuating all his men, to believe, all we tend. Magruder newly in the lead,Scurry with Green who volunteered. On the New Year's night nd shook, and Galveston was retook-"
Aopped reading. "Thank you." Said the teacher and acc to the sound of a book being closed, that was the end. I was fused, relutly rising my hand again before I could stop myself. "Mr. Bryan?" "Yes, Annabell? What is it?" "Is that all? I meaory. Is that all there is? Isn't it... longer?" I asked, sounding as fused as I felt. "Yes Annabell, it is." Answered the teacher now little fused by my question. Though he found my expression disbelieving, I guess, a on. "You have a-" Theopped himself, realizing what he was about to say to me. Nervously coughed and tried to cover for his mistake. "Oh, I'm very sorry Annabell, I didn't mean...ahh, ummm... Yes, it is all. Why'd you ask?" "N-No particur reason." I stuttered slightly shocked by this ued turn of things. However, Mike couldn't let this ce to go to waste and fieacher's senten his pce. Loud enough for everyoo hear. " YEA! You have a LOOK for yourself, FREAK!" which made at least half of the css ugh and I sank as deep into my chair as I could, hoping to be invisible. "That's quite enough Mr on!" Scolded him Mr. Bryan in a bit stern voice, fully aware, he's the oo bme for putting me in this situation in the first pce.
I hang my head low, hiding my flustered face, wishing I could just vanish. "Um... are you ok?" her sweet voice ced with slightly surprised me. From the moment she came to the css I didn't hear her say a word. It was one of the udents. For, to me an unknown reason, she's got her schedule ged and now seeing as there wasn't any other opened seat, she became not only my new cssmate but also a seat partner.
Sensing no pity from her, I felt grateful and calmed down a little, turning to face her. "Uh, yep I'm fine." F my lips into a light smile I felt like I owe her an apology. Whatever made her ge her schedule, she's most definitely going tret choosing this css as an alternative. Just then, the bell annouhe end of the css and I turo pack my things. I grabbed my back from the floor, putting it on the chair as I stood up. Pig up my ptop I realized that my hands are shaking. The ptop slipped from my grasp "Oh, no!" I gasped trying to catch it again. Unfortunately without any luck. I closed my eyes i and expected to hear it break but I never heard it hit the floor.
"Careful, I guess you his." Spoke the new girl again, apparently saving the ptop from breaking. "Thank you!" I was sihankful to her. "Yes, I really ." I said stretg my hands out for her to y the ptop in them. However... "If you don't mind I'll put it in the back for you." Not much of a question as more of a statement but sounded genuine and so I just nodded. "I'm sorry you had to sit with me and withat...that before. It's nothing unusual. I was just lost in thoughts so it got me by a surprise today. Don't worry about it though." I started to ramble a little, embarrassed about the whole situation and to avoid having another pitying onlooker around. "I...-" I started but she cut me off. "Annabell, right?" "Yea." "I know." She simply stated, zipping my bag. I stood there like a stoatue. "You know..?" "Oh, hey. I'd have to be an idiot to not notice while sitting right o you for almost an hour, don't you think? I am blond but not that stupid." She said sounding amused by her own joke making me holy smile too. "I'm Rosalie Cullen, by the way. Call me Rose." "Ok, sorry I didn't mean it like that. o meet you Rose." She shook my outstretched hand. Hers noticeably colder than mine. "Um, are you cold?" "Nope, sorry about that. This is my normal temperature." "Ah, alright... err, you won't tell-" "Don't worry, I'll let them to find out for themselves." She said again knowing what I wao ask, although it was like at the end she wasn't talking to me but someone else. And at the same moment I'd swear I heard a chair being moved somewhere behind me in the css, even though I expected the two of us to be the st ones here by now. Everyone else getting out of the school as fast as they could. I still turned around but there was nothing besides that strange, familiar presence. However, it was almost stantly all around me retly that I simply stopped trying to make any sense of it anymore. Then I heard two sets of light footsteps ing closer...
