Pag around her small garage and specifically around her gray and blue motorcycle, Sylvie watched the open door as the fort of the night started to give way to the light of the sun that was soon to crest the horizon. Many things wore on the elder vampire’s mind, but currently, other issues were pushed aside in favor of her friend. It had been hours since Kody said they were on their way and figuring that it would be a short time given Kody could fly or even run at breakneck speed, Sylvie had opehe hidden door and watched the stars circle and the sun begin to rise.
Finally tired of just walking around Sylvie jumped on her motorcycle and started the engine. “I should really go find Kody.” She saw the disbelieving look in Casey’s gold eyes. “What if they are hurt or ’t make it? Do I just accept that they are gone food?” With a frown and wrinkle of her nose, Sylvie shut off the bike and jumped off the seat. “Fine. I won’t go, just stop looking at me like that.”
“I didn’t say a word, you freak.” Casey ughed and leaned against the inner door frame. “Do you really wao ahe questions you just asked, or were they just because you are so nervous that you are about ready to e out of your skin?” Although she didn’t want to admit what was happening or had been happening for the st few hours, Casey was just as nervous as Sylvie was. Feeling the o remain calm in the face of her lover's near panic, Casey swallowed her nerves and focused solely on Sylvie. “We need an alternate pn, assuming Kody doesn’t make it.”
“Don’t say that, please don’t say that.” Sylvie stammered and walked to the opening of the garage door. “No, you don’t o ahe questions, I know I ’t go out there.” Sylvie sighed and pointed outside as she heard the first of the m birds start their songs. “That is a really, really bad sign…” She looked at the horizon and saw more light blue. “…Even I ’t go out there now.” Hanging her head low, Sylvie turned on her heels and walked solemnly back to Casey, staring into her progeny’s sunlit eyes. “I don’t he sun out there; I have a pair of them with me all the time.” Reag up to press the button to close the garage door, she’d no sooner pressed the button before she found herself on the t ground in a tumble of vampire bodies including Casey’s.
“Wele to the house, Kody?” Sylvie ughed and looked down at their hands. “Um…a little personal Kody.” Sylvie moved their hand from her plump breast and tried in vain to untangle herself from the two bodies. “Casey, love. You o move first.”
“Kody! Good to see you.” Casey ruffled Kody’s hair and looked down at her own huge breasts. “Um…you are a little personal with me too…I should be used to it by now, everyone loves tits.” She ughed and caught the look in Sylvie’s full-moon eyes. “This is a bad game of Twister.” She ughed, “An almost sexy version, I will say it's rated ‘R’ at best.”
Uo do much more than ugh, Sylvie id on the ground and rexed the moment the whole area was doused in darkness once more. forted in the st of her partner’s heavy st and the sedary aroma of warm oil mixed with hot metal, Sylvie took the time to figure out a way out of their tackle pile. “What ary, Kody.” She stood up and brushed her jeans off and helped Casey to her feet first, then held out her hand for Kody. “Let’s get inside a you some blood before you go crazy and then you tell me what took you so long.” Sylvie poi the dark door. “You seriously had maybe five minutes out there and ten seds before my door closed.”
“Take them to the blood room, Sylvie.” Casey poio Kody’s red-rimmed eyes. “ you stand up Kody?”
Barely able to recall what and where they were doing, Kody id on the floor like a non-funing robot. They wao talk, to say something but their gears and body just wouldn’t respond. It was only after Kody dedicated a little of their reserves to their voice box, that anything came out. “I-I ’t dddo much right now, dies. Yes, remember the blood spa. That would be wonderful.” Reinf the point Kody was in a fairly dire situation, a single bloody broken gear dropped to the floor with a g as it hit the t. “Th-Things are much worse than anticipated. I will need your assistao get into the spa.”
Without any real hesitation, Sylvie leaned over and tossed Kody over her shoulder, then walked quickly to the spa room. Much like before, the blood fondue fountain was still going and Casey sprinted over to refill the jacuzzi. Setting her vampire friend down on one of the lounges, Sylvie put her hands on her hips. “Alright…” She went and got a dle full of blood and forced it down Kody’s throat. “...Care to tell me what happened? I had the feeling you were within a few minutes of getting here and thanks to the little food mart, you’d taken care of your hunger.”
Laughing to herself, Casey turned and looked at the twin vampires. “Kody just gave a new meaning to food mart. Serves more than just dy.” Wheher tires didn’t even crack a smile, Casey stuck her to at Sylvie a baonit the flow of blood going iub, occasionally lig some from her finger. “You two suck, that was funny and you know it.”
Blood coursed its way dowhroat and purged the heavy burn enough that Kody felt the results immediately. Their little fuel gauge had been fshing critical for a few minutes and with the one dle, the warnings ceased. “My cyberics drain an awful amount of blood.”
“You told me over the pho drained you like hostform, so why did you use them again?” Sylvie replied in a huff before Kody a rge gss of blood. “Here, you should be able to hold it now.” Bag off and folding her arms over her chest, Sylvie stood over Kody like an angry mother. “I would really like it if you tested them more, before using them…” She reached dolucked a broken gear from their knee free. “...in your body. That is a little crazy, Kody.” Sylvie hahe damaged part back to her friend. “That thing is extremely light given its metal, is there blood infused?”
Nodding their head, Kody pyed with the gear like a little fidget spinner while drinking the gss of blood. “All of it is experimental, and I thought it looked fun.” They ughed as their strength began to return. “I guess all you saw was me in a trolled enviro, but I used to be a little random at times. Mostly when I was in college.” Kody peeled off another yer of the metal they’d made, this time from their shin. “It isn’t perma, I wasn’t that foolish.”
