Chapter 56 Chaos for Profit

Becoming a Mercenary or Swat member is the best way to get a money bag and receive less rigid entertainment compared to Caliphate land. But living in Sin City is a different game, since there is no glory or moral justification to backup any lustful activity. It's almost become a stain on your reputation living in Sin City compared to other lands.

Furqan’s comm crackled to life with his mother’s familiar voice, "Just because someone is wealthy in this world, son, doesn't mean they are favored by Allah in the Hereafter. He gives provision to all, righteous and unrighteous. Remember that son."

Furqan sigh “alright mom,,” then sound a younger woman chuckled heard on background. then Furqan turn off the comm.

Wanderer then lean on the passage seat. and look at Furqan intently “perhaps its time you see her.. you know.. she think you become a hedonist.. son. ehe..”

Furqan frown “nahh.. im fine,, and tell that advice to yourself old man. do you not even miss your wife?.”

Wanderer rub his chin, trying distract the conversation “but indeed she right.. bad dude sometimes richer.. but that is what make hero journey fascinating.. killing half hungry dudes is.. less exciting. “

Furqan lean on driver seat on mobile home "To each of these and each of those We extend from the bestowal of your Lord. And never has the bestowal of your Lord been restricted."

Wanderer coughing “,,hmhm. yeah.. anyway. lets go back to Sin city”

Furqan nods. “lets me install new apps for you wanderer”

Later, Wanderer still notice the high level of “crime and violence” at top of obsidian gate tower.

“well.. at least people rich? "wanderer then spin his chair" some of them”

Black cat pixelated cat answer “Despite the drawbacks of lawlessness, corruption, and lack of trust, Anarcho-Capitalism still has its advantages, is economic prosperity. In a truly free market, resources can be allocated more efficiently, leading to higher productivity and economic growth. the bastion of economy on Eastern wasteland”

Wanderer tap his lips “How are disputes settled?,,beside just. killing?”

“voluntary arbitration or private courts, instead of a centralized legal system. Property would be defined and defended based on voluntary consent,.”

Wanderer raise his eyebrows “well. do that is the reason why corruption so high? people who had big money is always win”

“As for trust, it can operate and fail similarly to any other society, through personal relationships, reputation, and contracts. A potential...buying influence and favor from private courts, arbitration systems, or security firms, leading to higher levels of corruption and inequality. but corruption can occur in any society,”

Wanderer then try to bait him “do.. at the end we just need bigger money to had more control?”

“those with larger financial resources may have an advantage in terms of control and influence. Property, security, influence – all for sale. It's a grind to the top, but the bigger your stack, the more you own."

Wanderer scoff “oho. you even don't try to hide it huh? just grind and grind..”

“individual success and control are highly dependent on the individual's own efforts and ability to generate wealth. It's a system that rewards hard work, entrepreneurship, and the ability to create value, as well as the ability to defend that wealth.

Repeat until you are the control."

Wanderer pause for a long time. then He looked up as a giant airship with ads flying on the horizon came into view. then he look at the black cat “what do you think about the "cloudalists."?”

“This power... The rise of the "cloudalists" as a new ruling class is a result of the power and control that comes with owning and operating online platforms. they control the algorithms that shape human behavior and influence online activity..”

“so.. they are the real ruler on ancap then?”

Yes.., the "cloudalists" controlling the algorithms that shape online behavior are indeed powerful..

“what is other way i just make sure there is no player which can overpower other?”

“ the main way to prevent any player from overpowering others is by enforcing the Non-Aggression Principle (NAP).

The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.

foundational principle..and it states that individuals should not initiate force against others or their property.

If everyone follows the NAP, it will create a more level playing field, making it difficult for any single player to gain an unfair advantage over others.”

Wanderer bit baffled on this “,,why i never heard nap before?”

“it may be because you are not familiar with anarcho-capitalism or libertarianism. think about a non aggression pact in war, wanderer ”

“yes,, non aggression in battlefield just a suggestion in my experience.. “ wanderer mind then automatically the countless battle in past, his enemy faces. and face of fallen comrade, then he continue “but who knows in here.. perhaps deep state like series 9 was the nap fansclub?”

“the Non-Aggression Principle would be a fundamental moral and ethical belief that guides behavior, and the rejection of this principle will not be viewed as aggression. And about the Series 9 it's hard to say without any evidence.”

Wanderer then ask again now deeply skeptic “Do the military action is only way to enforce this nap?”

“Not necessarily, One way is through moral persuasion. through logical arguments and ethical considerations.

Another way is through social pressure. Individuals who violate the NAP can be shunned or ostracized by their community and peers.

Another way is through market pressure. Businesses who violate the NAP can be boycotted or face other economic consequences.

Wanderer shake his head “there is little chance about moral preaching. since they all fully aware what they do.. and backlash of boycott.. is just other potential aggression”

Wanderer concluded “and.. this is why blackmarket thrive isn't? this ancap system broke to the core..”

“Ancap believe that the private sector can effectively combat the black market through voluntary cooperation and market mechanisms. private security companies and private legal systems can help identify and prosecute black market activity.”

Wanderer scoff “yeah yeah. we then go back to the security, gangism. and another military action to enforce.. at the end. its dog eat dogs world”

”The Non-Aggression Principle (NAP) would still be the guiding principle of the society, and most people will be expected to uphold it.,, we are a human wanderer..not a mindless mutant. ”

The Obsidian Gate towered over Sin City, its steel flanks gleaming in the harsh sunlight., dominated by towering billboards and the constant churn of commerce. Woe to every scorner and mocker, Who collects wealth and counts it, He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. The apps of Quranic verse, a verse flashing on his monitor as his daily verse app chimed , its like a god himself trying to give him a sign. despite its was just a algorithm but acutely relevant here.

Wanderer sat at his desk, His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, racing from one concern to the next. Thea was still out in the north, her whereabouts a mystery. The city was on the brink of war, and there was no telling what Mephisto's latest scheme entailed.

Bronk burst into the room, his massive frame dwarfing Wanderer's. "Boss, Mephisto's talking,"

Wanderer nodded, his expression serious. "What's he saying?"

"He's started revealing the location of the Nero First Lab," Bronk replied, his eyes wide with excitement. "He says it's somewhere in the abandoned part of the city, near the old docks."

Wanderer's eyes narrowed. "Nero's lab? That's interesting." He tapped his lips thoughtfully, his mind racing with possibilities. "Let's go."

With that, Wanderer and his entourage set off for the abandoned part of Sin City. The journey was a stark contrast to the vibrant streets of the Obsidian Gate. The city was a desolate wasteland, littered with the remnants of buildings and the charred remains of vehicles. the only sounds were the howling wind and the occasional distant cry of a feral beast.

Finally, they reached the dock area in the west. The buildings were cracked and crumbling, their windows shattered and their doors hanging off their hinges, and the only sign of life was the occasional scavenging rat scurrying through the rubble.then he reach a dilapidated warehouse, once a research facility for Dr. Nero.

The building was a shell of its former self, its walls scarred with bullet holes and its windows boarded up. A thick layer of dust covered everything, and the air inside was stale and musty.

Wanderer stepped into the warehouse, his eyes scanning the dim interior. The place was a maze of interconnected rooms, filled with abandoned equipment and forgotten experiments. The air was heavy with the lingering scent of chemicals and radiation, and the floor was littered with broken glass and syringes.

As they ventured deeper into the lab, they discovered a hidden chamber. The door was heavily fortified, but Wanderer's team managed to breach it with explosives. Inside, they found a small, dimly lit room filled with shelves of glass jars containing strange, glowing substances. In the center of the room was a large, circular table covered in scientific instruments and blueprints.

Wanderer approached the table, his eyes scanning the blueprints with interest. He could make out diagrams of complex machinery and strange, alien-looking creatures.

Wanderer then pick a book. a dusty a journal “oho.. a now info dump i guess. “ he amuse, thinking he will reveal some secret,

its pages filled with Dr. Nero's handwritten notes. The journal detailed his experiments, his fascination with radiation, and his attempts to create a hybrid creature with the strength of an animal and the intelligence of a human.

Wanderer then look at his nearby. the room are filled by empty cage. he just feel pity about the animal who become his victim, then wanderer start to flip the page randomly.

Wanderer's eyes fell upon a family photo nestled among the papers. It showed a young boy standing between a man and a woman, both dressed in suits. The boy had a bright smile on his face,, who was probably Dr. Nero as a child.

"Bronk, keep searching the room. See if you can find any more information that might be relevant."

Bronk nods and resumes the search, while Wanderer continues flipping through the journal.

moment later Bronk then comeback with new report “you must see this boss” he said with sense of urgency.

wanderer stand up “make me surprise”

Wanderer followed Bronk to the other side of the basement, where they found a series of cells containing the skeletal remains of humans and animals. In the center of the room was a large, circular time frame filled with photographs.

He rummaged through some nearby files and found a series of genetic alterations and operations, Wanderer then rub back of his back “Well, that makes sense”
