They arrived at the tavern, and the smell of food was making them even hungrier. The aroma of roasted meats, fresh bread, and savory pies was filling the air, and they could feel their mouths watering.
They walked into the tavern, and they were greeted by the sound of ughter and music. The pce was bustling with activity, and they could see a lot of people eating and drinking. They were all women, of course, and they were all enjoying themselves, that was until the crowd saw the three women in red robes and two of them were wearing Risphina Masks that covered their faces. The music stopped and the ughter died down, and all eyes were on them. The women in the tavern were looking at them with fear and disdain in their eyes. They knew who they were, and they didn't like them. The Risphina's Harvesters were not welcome in their establishment, and they wanted them to leave. However, they had no authority to do so, and they had to serve them. The tavern owner, a big, burly woman with a scar on her left cheek, walked over to them with a frown on her face.
"What can I get for you, Sisters?" the tavern owner asked and she was trying to be polite, but her voice was filled with irritation. She didn't want them coming in here to force the Goddess's Blessings of her patrons. However, she didn't want to get on the bad side of the church.
Mother Josephine and her two nuns were usually used to this type of reaction. But for some reason, this time was different. The three of them felt a pang of guilt as they could feel the hostile stares of the patrons. But it wasn't the usual guilt of being the enforcers of the church. It was something different. It was a feeling of shame and embarrassment, and they didn't know why.
'Um... Do the people really not like us? I mean, I know they are scared of us. But this is different. They are looking at us with pure hatred. But why? We are trying to save the kingdom from extinction. Or so I thought... Is this what Ashley felt? And that other girl who ran away?' Josephine thought as she looked around the travel inn. The tavern was called the "Tipsy Gnome" and it was a pce for travelers and locals to come and have a good time. But the three of them were killing the vibe, and they were making everyone uncomfortable.
"Wh-We'd like to have a table for three and three of your biggest meals," Josephine said and she was trying to sound confident, but her voice was trembling.
The tavern owner looked at them with a skeptical eye, "Is that all you wish to do in my establishment, Sister? You don't have any... missions from the Goddess?" she asked and her voice was dripping with sarcasm.
"No! We're just... here to eat. Unless there are eligible dies out there who wish to volunteer to receive the sacred holy waters of Risphina?" Josephine asked as she looked out to the crowd while holding up her red crystal rod to the dies that made most of the shift uncomfortably in their seats. "I promise to stop if it feels uncomfortable," she added while giving a wink.
Josephine didn't know why she said that. It was like she was acting like a bard or some street performer, not a priestess. But she couldn't help herself. She was feeling giddy and pyful, and she wanted to have some fun sharing her knew technique on some lucky dy. However, the patrons didn't share her enthusiasm, and they were looking at her with fear and disgust. The tavern owner was also getting annoyed, and she wanted the Womb Warden to put away her damned Divining Rod.
"Put that thing—I mean, I have a booth in the back. Follow me," the tavern owner said and she was trying to keep her cool. She didn't want any trouble with the church, but she also didn't want the Womb Wardens scaring away her customers.
The tavern owner led the three women to a booth in the back corner of the tavern, away from the prying eyes of the other patrons. She gave them a menu and a pitcher of water, and then she left them alone to look at the menu.
"She's so rude... We are trying to help the kingdom, and she treats us like we are some kind of... pgue," Hannah said and she was pouting.
"I never knew how unliked we were... B-But the goddess is trying to save us, right? We aren't in the wrong. Right, Mother Josephine?" Wendy asked and she was trying to reassure herself. But she was also starting to doubt her mission. The memory of the handsome man was still fresh in her mind, and she was starting to question the teachings of the church.
"Th-They are just scared of the unknown. And they don't understand what we are doing. But we are doing the right thing. It just with the low birth rates of recently, they are getting restless. And Mother Doreth, bless her heart, has been a little... aggressive," Josephine said as she tried to comfort her nuns. But she was also starting to question her mission as well. The memory of the handsome man was still fresh in her mind, and she was starting to question the teachings of the church. That why she was trying to use the friendlier approach. Especially, after experiencing how amazing it felt when she used her own Divining Rod on herself. 'I must be having a crisis of faith, but that handsome woman's touch... it felt so right... I need to trust my instincts. This new method will work to restoring faith in the church. We have to for the sake of humanity.'
The three women looked at the menu, and their mouths started to water again. The aroma of the food was making them even hungrier, and they couldn't wait to eat. And in the distance, three waitresses were fighting among themselves, trying to pass off the table to the other two.
"I'm not serving them! They'll force that white crap into me when they find out my age," said a short waitress with a mop of curly brown hair.
"They'll probably get the rest of the kitchen staff to help them strap you down, too. They seem to be in that kind of mood today," said the tall waitress with long bck hair, who was clearly the ringleader of the trio.
"You all know that I'm the youngest out of all of us. I'm not going near them, and that's final. Besides, I was just about to go on my break anyways. You two can deal with them," the third waitress said. She was a slender woman with short blonde hair, and she was already taking off her apron.
However, before she could do that, Ruth, the owner of the "Tipsy Gnome" came up behind them and cleared her throat.
"Listen here, you three. The Womb Wardens are paying customers, and we will treat them with respect. Now who's table is it?" Ruth asked with a stern voice. Her voice made the three waitresses jump, and they all looked at each other. They didn't want to serve the Womb Wardens.
"It's Faye's table!" the other two waitresses said in unison, and they pointed to the slender woman with short blonde hair.
"You traitors!" Faye whispered, and the two waitresses stuck their tongues out at her and walked away.
"I'm not serving them! They'll—" Faye was cut off by Ruth.
"You will serve them, and you'll do it with a smile on your face. Or you can find another job. Do you understand?" Ruth asked and she was not in the mood for any nonsense.
"Y-Yes, ma'am," Faye said, and she sighed. She put her apron back on and took a deep breath. She then grabbed a notepad and a pen and walked over to the booth where the three Womb Wardens were sitting.
Faye walked up to the booth with a forced smile on her face. She could feel the eyes of the entire tavern on her, and she was nervous.
'Okay, Faye. Just take their order and get out of here. Don't make any sudden moves, and don't look them in the eye. Just do your job and you'll be fine,' Faye thought to herself as she was trying to calm her nerves.
"Hello, I will be your waitress today. What can I get for you?" Faye asked, and she was trying to sound cheerful, but her voice was trembling.
The three Womb Wardens looked at her, and they could see the fear in her eyes. They could also see that she was trying to hide her fear, but she was not doing a very good job of it. Josephine usually liked it when a young dy like Faye was scared of her. It made her feel powerful, and she enjoyed the feeling of dominance that she had over them. Plus, she was a prime candidate for the blessing if she hasn't gotten one in the past month. But for some reason, seeing the fear in the young waitress's eyes made her feel... guilty. She didn't know why, but she was starting to feel a pang of guilt, and she didn't like it. She was also starting to feel a strange warmth in her pelvis as her babies were growing fast and healthy thanks to Mia. But they needed nutrients and she was getting hungrier by the second.
"Are you afraid?" Josephine asked in a soft voice. Faye froze as the blonde looked at her with a soft and gentle gaze. There was no malice or dominance in her eyes, just curiosity.
"Y-Yes... I mean, no! I-I'm not afraid," Faye stammered, and she was trying to sound brave, but her voice was trembling.
Hannah giggled, and that's when Josephine noticed that both her comrades still had their masks on and that was probably making the poor waitress more nervous.
"Sisters? Take off those da—those masks. You're scaring the poor girl," Josephine ordered, and her nuns looked at each other. They were confused, but Mother Josephine was right. They rarely took them off when eating, but they seemed more uncomfortable than usual with them on. So, they complied and took off the masks. Faye gasped at the sight of the two women. Wendy's and Hannah's faces had changed. They were no longer boring or pin. Their faces had softened, and their lips were plumper. Their eyes were brighter, and their skin was glowing. They looked like they were in their te teens or early twenties, and they were very beautiful.
'W-Whoa... Since when do the Risphina's Harvesters look so... pretty? I thought most of the women who join Risphina's church were ugly. But these three are gorgeous. Especially, Mother Josephine. The way she's looking at me... It's like she's... interested in me. But why? I'm just a waitress. And I'm not even that pretty,' Faye thought and she was starting to feel a strange warmth in her loins. She shook it off as the three women were making her feel weird.
"We'll have three of the biggest dinner ptters you have," Josephine said and she was trying to keep her mind on the food. But the image of a juicy steak with a side of mash potatoes and a rge slice of chocote cake was still fresh in her mind. She tried to fight it, but the craving was too strong. "And... can we have three slices of chocote cake with a tall gss of cold milk?" she added and her nuns nodded in agreement.
Faye was surprised by their order. She expected them to order something light, like a sad or a soup with little to no seasonings. But they ordered enough food to feed a small army. And they even ordered chocote cake with milk, which was frowned upon by the church. They saw sweets as a form of indulgence, and they believed that indulgence was a sin.
"Is that all?" Faye asked, and she was trying to keep her voice steady.
"Yes, that's all," Josephine said and she was trying to hide her embarrassment.
"Alright, I'll be back with your food in a bit," Faye said, and she walked away. She was trying to process what just happened, but she couldn't. The three Womb Wardens were not what she expected, and they were making her curious about Josephine's offer. 'St-Stop it! The Holy Water is going to get in the way of my work. P-Plus, it's painful as hell to go through... but... the way those Harvester looked... it was like they were mothers... not like the other Wardens. Th-This is crazy!'
Faye went to the kitchen and gave the order to the cook. She then went to the back and took a deep breath. Usually thoughts were circling around in her mind. Thoughts about becoming a mother were always something she dreamed about as a little girl. But ever since the Sacred Waters started failing to take root, the thoughts of motherhood turned into dread as every time she heard about a miscarriage. So she had given up on the idea of being a mother until seeing that one Risphina Harvester, Josephine. She was an odd one and there was something about her that was drawing her in. Something about her rge curvy figure was something that she was envious of. Like she wished she had a body like that. It was like she was ready to have a baby. But her mind was telling her to stay away, but her dormant maternal instincts came flooding back.
Faye was a 19-year-old woman and she was in her prime. She had a slender figure, and she was not as curvy as the three Womb Wardens. She had short blonde hair, and she had a pretty face. But she was not the type of woman who would catch the eye of a beautiful woman. She was more of a pin Jane, and she was happy with that. Or so she thought. But after seeing the three Womb Wardens, she was starting to feel a strange sense of inadequacy, and she was starting to wish that she was more like them. Her maternal instincts were screaming at her that the priestess can give her what she wants, and she was starting to feel a strange warmth in her loins. Unaware that she was ready to accept Mia's gift.
'Those sisters... they looked so... motherly... and that Josephine... there's something about her that is... different... I don't know what it is, but I can't stop thinking about her... and her body... it's like she's... glowing... and her... her... I can't stop thinking about her. She'll force that fucking Rod on me the first opportunity when I let my guard down. I need to watch out,' Faye thought as she was trying to ignore the strange feelings that were coursing through her body.

After about twenty minutes, Faye came back to the booth with three rge trays of food. Each tray had a juicy steak, a pile of mashed potatoes, a side of roasted vegetables, and a rge slice of chocote cake with a tall gss of cold milk.
"Here you go, Sisters. Enjoy your meal," Faye said as she pced the trays on the table. The three Womb Wardens' eyes widened with delight, and they could feel their mouths watering. The aroma of the food was intoxicating, and they couldn't wait to dig in.
"Th-Thank you," Hannah said and her voice was trembling with excitement.
"Oh, bless the mother who made this cake," Wendy said and she was already eyeing the slice of chocote cake.
Faye was about to walk away, but she couldn't help but watch in awe as the three women took their first bite of food. The way they savored the fvor, the way they closed their eyes and moaned with pleasure, it was like they were experiencing a moment of pure bliss. And it was making her feel something that she had never felt before. A desire to join them, to feel that same pleasure that they were experiencing.
Hannah took a bite of her steak and her eyes rolled into the back of her head. The fvor was so rich and savory, and it was like nothing she had ever tasted before. She could feel the juices running down her chin, and she didn't care. She was in heaven, and she was going to enjoy every moment of it.
"Mmm... this is so good," Hannah said and she took another bite of her steak.
Wendy took a bite of her chocote cake, and she let out a soft moan. The cake was moist and rich, and the chocote was melting in her mouth. It was like a little piece of heaven, and she was savoring every bite. She could feel the sweetness of the chocote on her tongue, and it was making her feel warm and fuzzy inside.
Josephine took a sip of her milk, and she let out a sigh of satisfaction. The milk was cold and refreshing, and it was the perfect complement to her meal. She could feel the coolness of the milk in her throat, and it was quenching her thirst. She then took a bite of her steak, and she let out a moan of pleasure. The steak was cooked to perfection, and it was melting in her mouth. It was like a culinary masterpiece, and she was savoring every bite.
The three women were lost in their own little world, and they didn't notice that Faye was still standing there, watching them. She was captivated by their dispy of pleasure, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of envy. She wanted to experience that same pleasure, that same sense of satisfaction. And she was starting to feel a strange warmth in her loins, and her pussy was starting to get wet when she spotted the long phallic red crystal, holstered in Josephine's sash.
