Left wing of Final legion, Elysium Ark.
Ding!
The elevator door slowly opened as the screen above it showed -3 . Wu-Lin stepped out first, followed by Asashi. Both of them wore a similar captain's outfit.
The narrow hall had all sorts of rooms on its left. From some rooms, laughter erupted. And some rooms erupted in explosions. Through the window, one could see the smoky atmosphere had once again darkened. Darker than it was earlier.
The dying planet has gone to sleep.
But Asashi's gaze was on something else entirely.
‘Sheesh, how does her ass sway like that?’
Suddenly, Wu Lin stopped, “The fuck are you looking at?” Her eyes were narrowed in a dangerous way.
Asashi just shook his head as he chuckled, “A very lame name, don't you think?” He asked as he crossed his arms in front of his chest.
Wu Lin glared at Asashi for a minute, “Yes, Asashi is a very lame name.” Saying that she started walking again.
Asashi had to take a few jogs to catch up with her again, “Haha, who said you don't know how to joke?” Seeing that Wu Lin was not answering, he continued, “I mean, planet-b, who would name something like that?”
Again, Wu Lin was silent as she kept walking through the hall.
“It's like naming a cat, Cat. And dog, Dog.” Asashi said as he chuckled.
Wu Lin finally stopped in front of a door, on its screen was written A-2, “You can ask that to the ones who named it.” She said.

The iron door slid into its socket and revealed the room. Inside, many people were walking around wearing white lab coats and a VR headset around their heads. Each of them moved their hands randomly. Some were gazing into the ceiling, some tables, some just stared at each other.
The moment the door opened, all of them turned to look at the guests. A man quickly came to the front and offered his hand in greeting towards Wu Lin.
His balding hair had mostly turned gray. As well as his beard.
Wu Lin shook his hand.
“I'm Dr. Logan Smith. I heard from the head office. Come on, I will show you what you need to know.” He said as he already started moving towards the plain wall.
Asashi and Wu Lin followed him behind. The others all went back into their staring games.
Logan stood in front of a plain wall and pointed his finger at the corner. Then using two fingers he made the shape of the letter ‘L’.
“This is the planet of Andromeda. ‘PLANET-B'” He announced proudly.
“Ahh-huh..” Wu Lin said as she put a hand on her hip and glanced at Dr. Logan.
“So…that wall is Andromeda and that dent is your planet?” Asashi snorted.
Logan glanced at them before touching the headset on him, “Oh, apologies. I forgot about these.” He said as he handed a pair of headsets to Wu Lin.
Wu Lin glanced at the two and gave one of them to Asashi. He didn't bother too much on the headset as he wore it easily.
Putting on the headset, he clicked a button which was near the ear. Suddenly, a blue box came into vision.

Then so many things popped up everywhere around the room. Different stars, planets, comets, satellites and space stations.
“Woah…” Asashi muttered.
He quickly took a glance around the room before focusing back on the wall. But instead of a wall, now there was a giant planet. Almost looking like the earth a few centuries ago. But the atmosphere was a bit…stormy?
“What you are seeing here is PLANET-B, a planet which we suspect could sustain life in it.” Logan said, “We sent Andromeda-67Z, four years ago and it found this planet very recently, when it was almost half way through the galaxy.”
“So, are you saying that this planet is close to the core of the galaxy?” Wu Lin asked.
“If so, then drop your project. High gravitational pull and radiation alone will eliminate this planet from any chances of sustaining life–” Asashi was about to take off his headset when Logan intervened.
“We are scientists. We know that.” He said, “For some unknown reason, Andromeda-67Z suddenly broke its chord. And had no choice but to land somewhere. This planet was closest and it went there. Then for fifteen days, it spent roaming around that planet. But from the data it sent us back, there was no mention of radiation. It only said the wind was high.”
“After fifteen days it exploded. We were able to transfer its data over here. From the pictures it took, some of the lands were similar to the earth before the war. The soil was wet. Meaning oxygen is available. And in one picture, we saw something, which we assume is a decayed plant. And in its final audio, we were able to hear…flaps of wings.” Logan said
Asashi quietly listened as Logan continued, “For the fifteen days it survived there, only that was the source of life. So we came to the conclusion that the flap we heard came from a bird. So it's a planet of birds. And plan B for us. Hence PLANET-B.”
“Heh! If that flap you heard came from an angel, then it would be planet-A?” Asashi snorted. Even though he said that, he didn't take his eyes off of the visuals of the planet and pictures that had been taken.
Wu Lin nodded at Logan, “If this planet could give us a chance to live, we will see it for ourselves.” She said, “Also, where is Dr. Maya?”
“She is resting for the day. Why?” Logan asked back.
Asashi
glanced at the old man, “Because…you old timers are coming with us.” He said.
