Abstract of an Initial Report into the disappearance of Keynes Kid.

  Following our investigation into a potential collusion between Windsor Freeman and Untainted Paradise, our agents discovered a sensational but also very dangerous information that Keynes Kid and some members of the so called Department of Knowledge have vanished without a trace.

  We initially treated the revelation with a huge dose of reservation as this could be a ploy to sidetrack our investigation—it is understood that the top management of Untainted Paradise is aware of existence of our agents within their company, though it is highly unlikely their identities are known—however, we were able to confirm that this was not an elaborate ploy on Wagner Zimmermann’s side and people had, indeed, vanished.

  At that point, we launched two parallel investigations. One regarding solely Keynes Kid and the other focused on the remaining people who are missing.

  Findings:

  The last known location of Keynes Kid was the aftermath of the second Monster Dominion, precisely at where previously was the Inner Sanctuary. We have gathered a substantial amount of information from witnesses who had seen Keynes Kid fighting Vivena Sael. Unfortunately, we were unable to question her about this incident. All our formal and informal requests at the highest level of the World Government have been declined.

  Our assumption was that he’d been killed in the clash but our forensic teams found no trace of him at the aforementioned location. Furthermore, our intel confirms that his dominion is still active which eliminates a possibility of his death, albeit he is not present within.

  Given the disappearance of other people who are connected to him, a hypothesis that he was kidnapped is highly unlikely.

  As for the second investigation, our findings are similarly scant, but at the same time, troubling. However, it must be noted that the second investigation is severely limited in nature due to utmost secrecy and danger posed to our danger by being discovered by Untainted Paradise. Nonetheless, we managed to establish that all the people declared missing—informally as Untainted Paradise has not announced it—had vanished at the same time with a margin of error of about an hour. We have accessed some internal logs and CCTV records adding a credence to the following, outlandish claim:

  All the missing people have not left the headquarters of Untainted Paradise via any known exit. Furthermore, several of the missing people have never left their rooms.

  We believe that either Untainted Paradise, Keynes Kid or unknown party has access to a teleportation skill or Talent of a magnitude so far not encountered by our agency.

  Abstract of a Final Summary into the disappearance of Keynes Kid.

  Keynes Kid has disappeared around 5 years ago, which was formally acknowledged two years later by Untainted Paradise but never publicly reported. Regardless, our investigation has been ongoing since the first report emerged of his disappearance.

  Since that day our capabilities, resources and understanding vastly improved. We have managed to secure cooperation of the World Government and the Institute in this investigation, which turned out to be valuable as both became fundamental assets.

  Due to our cooperation with the World Government, we were able to gain access to the Umbrella Scheme and gain access to the location of billions of chip holders in Umbrella cities. We used this to monitor relatives and people connected to Keynes Kid and those who vanished from the Department of Knowledge in hope to gain any lead. While our monitoring efforts discovered no such a lead, this wasn’t a fruitless process. For one, we have learned that none of relatives or connected people had any idea of disappearance and that no contact has been made since.

  Therefore we assumed that there is a possibility that the disappearance was in fact a kidnapping. Furthermore, our cooperation eventually led to a stark discovery—by one of their newly-made Level 10 ascenders with powerful variation of tracking Talent—that all of the people who had disappeared were off-planet. At this point, we contacted the Solar Council and the Sovereign as the matter became solar-wide and we were subsequently granted a mandate to operate on Mars, Venus and colonised moons.

  The Level 10 tracker found no trace though, pushing us to gain an additional mandate to investigate non-colonised moons. We were able to obtain a partial mandate that excluded Solar Council and Sovereign owned moons.

  The investigation led nowhere, which gained Doctor’s direct attention. Vanguard was able to secure a substantial investment into an insight generator, to this date the most complex and powerful magical creation.

  The insight generator has been functional only for the last couple of months, but the amount of information we have gained is unparalleled and should remain as the utmost secrecy lest Untainted Paradise and their allies learn of its existence and attempt at building their own generator.

  The details of developments accredited to the insight generator are listed in the unabridged version of summary and further expanded in the Final Report into the disappearance of Keynes Kid.

  We have learned that neither Keynes Kid nor any of the people who had disappeared from Untainted Paradise, including Keynes Kid’s parents, are NOT currently in the solar system. That includes both alive and dead.

  Given our experiments with Keynes Kid’s dominion—as we assumed that he is connected to their disappearance and likely with them—we further established that they are not inside a rift, which would explain why there is no trace of them in the solar system.

  Nevertheless, such a conclusion is extremely troublesome and raises questions whether the System itself was involved. A recent emergence of exotic properties of the System shook our understanding to the core and made us question all our fundamental assumptions about the System.

  Going forward, we are in a process of determining ways to exploit the connection between Keynes Kid and his dominion to pinpoint his exact location—Doctor believes that such a connection may act as a portal of one of a kind but this is beyond my non-scientific mind and hence I cannot add any insight to his claim.
