Chapter 11: Now This Is Love

Chapter 11: Now this is Love.

It had been about a month since Jude's contract was terminated. He had been spending a lot of time in the secret place working to understand God’s heart and what happened. While making his 3rd coffee for the day, he heard “Do you remember your dream with the scroll?”. “What was that?” Jude said out loud. “Who said that?”, he looked around the empty kitchen not realising what had happened. “Relax Jude, it is me, El Shaddai – the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob”. “Father?” Jude gasped, “You are talking to me?” “Is it so hard to believe? Does my word not say that I spoke to Moses, to Samuel, to Elijah in a gentle whisper?” answered God. “Well yes, but I have just never thought it was true for now. I thought these types of things were for the elite people in the bible… Though I know that Jesus says in John 10:27 that His sheep listen to and know His voice and He knows them… This is amazing Father God!” said Jude.

  1 John 4.

“Jude, I want you to read 1 John 4 from verse 10 to 19.” said God. Jude went to the couch with his coffee and opened his Bible app. “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because He first loved us.” Jude’s heart burned, he could feel the heat of God’s anointing around the crown of his head. “Father, I want to know you and your Son. Thank you for your Spirit of Revelation in the Knowledge of You!” Jude prayed.

“Jude, do you remember the scroll?” God asked again, “I do remember the dream?” answered Jude. “What verse did it focus on?” “Corinthians 13, Father” answered Jude. "The Holy Spirit is strong on you today, Jude" thought Glen, who could see how the light of God was radiating from Jude. Glen watched as the Holy spirit touched the head of Jude, “Is that what Paul was talking about? John writes that you are Love - is Paul describing you in 1 Corinthians 13?” Jude rushed to reread the verse in Corinthians and then sat back in the couch in reverence and awe. “Father, this is describing you, your character… He is literally telling us who you are and how you do things? Why do they never teach us this verse like that? Why have I only ever heard pastors talk about love as emotion between two people? Here Paul is telling us that You are patient, You are kind, You are slow to anger…” Jude asked. “Let me teach you the truth," said God.

Glen watched as the Spirit of Truth came into the room. He always loved the Spirit of Truth, His glow was beautiful and warm. It was a bright and beaming light that radiated out from the centre of Truth’s heart and cast out all shadow and darkness from the space. “Hello Truth, it’s so good to feel the warmth of your light” Glen said. “Glen!” Truth exclaimed, “How are you?” and embraced Glen like they were old friends. “I am here for Jude, you and I can catch up later…” with that, Glen watched as Truth touched Jude’s head. He could see that Truth connected to Jude’s brain through Truth's cord. He watched Truth begin to exchange revelation knowledge directly into Jude’s mind. “This is the fun part” said Truth, “Come Glen, have you ever seen what happens when a person receives revelation?” Glen came closer and looked, “It’s like his head has become transparent and we can see into Jude’s brain…” Glen said astonished, “Yes, this is my favorite part. Watch now what happens when I begin to share the truth with Jude.”

Both Truth and Glen leaned in closer, “Oh wow! The brain is moving and reorganising… Look, that part is making new connections” said Glen, pointing. “Exactly, that’s what revelation is Glen. I come and remove the serpents that are blocking or preventing connections between the neuron's so that people can connect the dots and understand”. explained Truth.

“Father, I want to know my King. I want to know what happened at the cross. John says that the Spirit lives in us? I am hearing your voice and feeling this incredible heat on me. What does it mean?” Jude sensed in his heart, “2 Corinthians 5.” He opened his bible app, “Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart. If we are “out of our mind,” as some say, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

The weight of the Glory was very heavy on Jude. He could barely keep his eyes open while reading the verse. When he finished, he began to pray but as he closed his eyes, he fell into a deep sleep. Glen and Truth turned and saw Jesus enter the room. “He is ready for you” said Truth smiling with a deep love. “This one is beautiful, truly, you have made him wonderful.” continued Truth. Jesus smiled and grabbed Judes hand. As he pulled, Glen and Truth watched Jude’s spirit come out of him and awaken. “Come Jude, let us walk together.” said Jesus as he took Jude’s spirit and left the room through the gate that Jesus came in. Jesus took Jude to a river where they sat on the grass under the trees. Jude was overcome by the beauty, “This place is beautiful my King. I have never experienced colours so vibrant – it’s like I can see them but also taste, smell, hear, and feel them. They vibrate deep into my soul.” Jude said, “Yes, this is a garden in heaven, but there are many... This is the Garden with the River of Living waters. The waters spring directly from Eternity, the river shows all things that have ever happened, are happening and will ever happen” explained Jesus. “I have brought you hear to show you what I achieved for you at the cross.” Jesus moved towards the side of the river and kneeled next to it, Jude followed and sat next to him. “Look here” said Jesus, placing his hand into the water and stirring the river. The water began to change and form into a glass mirror. Jude could see a picture forming in it. “Do you see it, Jude?” asked Jesus, “Yes, it is you? It looks like the day you were crucified…” answered Jude. “Does it? Look again Jude – tell me what you see…” Jude leaned in and looked closer, “It’s not you Jesus. That man looks like me?” Jude said in awe. “It is you” explained Jesus.

Jude listened intently, not knowing how to respond… “Do you understand?” asked Jesus, “because we are convinced that one died for all, therefore all died.” Jesus continued. “Does that mean that it was me that died at the cross?” asked Jude cautiously. “It means that I am a placeholder. I represent everybody at that cross. When I died Jude, everybody died. Everybody who has ever lived, will ever live and is currently living.” Jesus explained. “It means that when you accept me as your saviour, you accept your own death at the cross.” Jesus continued, “Let me ask you Jude, can two people dwell in the same body?” “No, those people are said to be mad…” answered Jude. “Truly I tell you, they are not mad. Their own spirit refuses to die and give place for the new spirit seeking to dwell in the body. The ones who are mad are the ones who have not accepted the other spirits. The spirit of the person is fighting for dominion over the vessel, their body”, Jesus explained. “Are you saying that when I accepted you as my saviour, I also accepted my own death and complete loss of control over my life?” asked Jude. “Can the dead control? Do the dead make decisions?” replied Jesus, “but what does the scripture say? and he died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for him who died for them and was raised again. Tell me Jude, does the scripture say that all were raised again?” asked Jesus, “No my King, it says that the one who died was raised from the dead, Christ Jesus. You were raised from the dead.” panic came over Jude, “but then that means that I…” before he could continue, Jesus put His finger on Judes mouth, “Hush, what does the scripture say? He has given us of His Spirit – so that you may know that I live in you and you live in me”.

A peace came over Jude as he realised what Jesus was saying, “I am one of those that you live for?” “Yes Jude, I live for you. My spirit dwells within you – you heard Him talking to you earlier.” Jesus confirmed. “This is why my servant Paul says that we do not consider anyone from an earthly perspective. Because it is the Spirit of the person that is important. The spirit within a person is what reconciles that person’s body to that specific spirit. Those who have my spirit are reconciled back to me. But I am not just a ticket into heaven, there is so much more…”
