Her Boon, Turtle’s Gambit had a weakness. It was heavily unreliable in this area because it is out of the Interface, where it is mainly utilized. I couldn’t see what Lee Nari was seeing through her Boon, but I had to take a gamble which direction to go.

  I went left, and signaled Colin to stay at the corner where he was. Lee Nari’s bloodlust eyes went the same way I did. However, I slid down and grabbed her right hand, which was holding her sword.

  Before she could attack me using the Sword, we both collided on the floor. The sword pierced the floor and both of us were holding it. Lee Nari’s hand let go of the sword as she slapped my hand.

  “You bastard-!”

  In the quick moment, Colin came from the corner to grab Lee Nari’s arms. In the quick time frame I had, I grabbed the sword that was piercing the ground. I had stolen her weapon.

  「You have acquired the ‘Edge Cutter Beginner’s Sword’! 」

  The name itself was basic as was the sword. The Edge Cutter Beginner’s Sword was long and I took it out. At the same time, Lee Nari pushed Colin back with her strength and approached me for the sword.

  However, since she didn’t have any protection against the sword, she couldn’t do anything. I hesitated for a bit before using the sword, it was very sharp. I didn’t want to kill anyone at the moment, even though we were basically all ‘dead’.

  “Give me my sword back.”

  “No, you're going to kill me.” I replied.

  “Well good luck then, because the others have already arrived.” She turned back and smiled, ignoring that I had the sword.

  There was a large group of people behind me who were piling up. They started running towards me. I couldn’t attack these groups of people. I don’t know what would even happen if I killed them at this moment since we were basically dead.

  They were approaching quickly, Lee Nari took this opportunity to steal my sword. But, I retaliated and accidentally made a small cut in her arm. “S-Sorry!”

  I didn’t know what to do. I was struggling, I was never great at making decisions. Soon, Colin stood up and pushed the hurt Lee Nari back. He looked at me and took the sword.

  “I’ll fight them. I’ve got the most swordsmanship experience here than anyone else.” He said.

  I understood what he meant by swordsmanship. Even though the Edge Cutter Beginner’s Sword was nothing like his hometown swords, it was still a sword. From Colin’s memories, I’ve heard his planet name, ‘Deraan’. It was a planet from the future, and was led by an empire.

  I know the origins of this planet… It was from the ‘Celestial Wars’ movie trilogy. And the weapons on his home planet were… Brightsabers. I know Colin is adept with a sword.

  Colin went forward and held the sword tight. The amount of people was overwhelming, however he stood strong. Creatures such as the tigers and lions went on to attack Colin.

  - Get that guy! He’s protecting the Primordial Human!

  - If we kill him, Lee Nari can easily take the Primordial Human down!

  Lee Nari was in the corner, I knew she was awaiting a chance to attack me. I didn’t let my guard down and focused on both sides at the same time.

  Colin went on to use the Edge Cutters Beginner’s Sword. He sliced through many of the people that were standing in his way with one slice. He twisted his sword in multiple directions and ways I couldn’t identify because of the amount of bodies he was dropping.

  Even Lee Nari was surprised by the power Colin had. Finally, a path was created for us to escape to. Colin was at the end of that path, but the bodies that were on the floor were endless.

  I don’t know if Colin felt bad for killing the people, but many of the people of the Terminal were murdered. I wanted to puke, but I held it in because it just wasn’t the right time. The amount of bodies that were bloodied made me uncomfortable, and I was shaking after I reached Colin.

  “It’s fine. You don’t need to worry about them. They are just going to another Terminal since they died here.” Colin said.

  I sighed in relief. However, a question rang in my head.

  “Then if they killed me, I would’ve been transferred to another Terminal, right? You should’ve told me that so all of this didn’t have to happen!”

  “No, you would’ve gone to nothingness. What these disgusting people wanted to do was to eat your body which contained your soul… to become Primordial Humans themselves. So you would’ve died.”

  I stood up and hugged his shoulders. However, there was still a neglected piece to this battle. Lee Nari had escaped my sight because I led my guard down. She was still here somewhere, but where?

  Most of the ones who wanted to kill me were already dead. Only about four people were left in the Terminal of the airport.

  “She wants to devour my soul and get my techniques.” Colin said.

  “How the hell does that even work? That straight up sounds like cannibalism.”

  “That’s something about the Interface of the Universe I hate. You are in constant danger of being eaten. If you are eaten… the eater of your soul gains everything you have- your status, skills, everything.”

  「Many Great Plotters are in awe of Lee Nari! 」

  “What’s a Narrative Device?!” I asked, running from Lee Nari’s glowing body.

  Lee Nari’s smile was getting more sinister and scarier. The whole airport was turning red with her immense aura.
