The night sky spreads out in quiet splendor, dusted with shimmering starlight. On the balcony of the opulent palace, Liam—the young prince, only six years old—gazes at his right wrist, where a faintly glowing sigil softly shines.
His eyes widen. Overcome by curiosity, the young prince quickly runs back into his chamber to tell the Queen.
“Mother, Mother—why is my wrist glowing like this?” he says, holding out his arm.
The symbol that had shone no longer glows as strongly as it did when Liam was on the balcony. Still, the Queen can see it. She smiles, gentle and calm.
“Liam, this is the mark of your Fated One.”
“My Fated One?”
“According to the legends I have heard, if you are born with this mark, it means there is someone else who bears the same mark—someone special, chosen by fate just for you. No matter how great your differences, no matter how far apart you may be, fate will always guide your paths to meet and unite. That is what is called a Fated One.”

The young prince freezes, his brows knitting together. “…What does that mean?” He doesn’t understand at all.
Amused by her son’s innocence, the Queen replies gently, “It means that one day, you will have a beautiful love story, Liam.”
Time passes, and eighteen years later, the now-grown prince once again asks his mother about the mark on his wrist.
“Mother, I meet a woman who means so much to me, but she doesn’t bear the mark of the Fated One. Is that why we are separated? Is that why I can never return her feelings?”
The prince’s eyes gleam, as if holding a quiet sorrow within them.
A tragic vision shown by fate echoes in his mind: Liam sits amid the remnants of a battlefield, sobbing as he holds the lifeless body of a woman close—blood still seeping from the wound in her chest where a blade pierced through.
With a look of guilt, the Queen is forced to answer, “Liam, if that woman is not destined for you, you will never truly have her. You must let her go.”
.
In the midst of war against the forces of darkness, Liam keeps fighting to save the woman who means everything to him, seeking for an answers that have long lingered in his heart.
