  Jane is looking at Josh with a very amused grin.

  Seems like your batch of students are a tier lower skill wise to mine~

  Josh groaned and rubbed his head

  You're not gonna let this go... and it seems like my students need more training and even the single win they got seems like a loss...

  Hehe nope I won't let this go you said it yourself your group should have the higher chance of winning but the results so far are saying otherwise.

  First ayaka beat her opponent but unfortunately she was eliminated due to her bleeding out.

  Then Kaeris, who honestly did a great job he's gone so far from his arrogant self.

  We also have Kivolak he was originally gonna win but the fairy of yours realised even if it was too late that he did something.

  Forcing her to use a trump card but still fall into despair as she realised whatever kivolak did hasn't stopped even when she eliminated him and her partner.

  And lastly Bennett guess history repeats itself haven't it josh~

  The instructors around them chuckled

  And Josh decisively kept his mouth shut and just watched the tournament to the end like he was doing earlier.

  Back in the tournament

  As Bennett made his way towards where the tornado appeared he had no choise but to take his time walking so his staff and shield can charge up.

  He suddenly sneezed and he took out a tissue to wipe away his nose.

  Ugh someone is talking about me otherwise why would i sneeze for no reason...

  He then checked his staff and shield and there about half charged so he increased his pace cutting off the charging sequence and just as he got closer to the clearing he hid behind a tree and sees a fairy.

  She is laughing manically and launching bolts of magic into the forest opposite of him but he can tell its basic magic so it's draining her magic slower than it's returning.

  whoever she fought made her fall completly delirious.

  Not taking a chance Bennett took out his shield and staff then activated protect.

  He then tossed it forward and just before it got out of range he swung his stuff with Revolving Cinder active making a stronger shockwave to speed up the shield.

  As it arrives infront of the fairy it cleanly cuts her head off eliminating her and causing her body to disapear showing just how out of it she is.

  Then not too far from where he is he saw an electric spear fly into the sky and shatter.

  Guess I know where I have to go next. I hope Aiko is fine.

  With Aiko.

  She successfully dodged the lightning spear sent her way and she then countered with Inari Rage forcing Jason to counter with Lightning Nova.

  Mei came to his side covering his lightning Nova in her Beast Factor aura strengthening it before they launched the attack together not at ayaka but her attack as both attacks fizzled out due to equal power.

  The resulting force crushing the rocks and making another crater as the forested area they were in is completely barren.

  Jason is looking at Aiko bewildered and horrified.

  How do you have so much Damn Mana I swear to God that's like the 6th attack you tossed that could have taken me out without Mei!!??

  Aiko is still grinning as if she didn't just use a huge amount of mana.

  She teased and they are right just how much mana does she have that she can spam skills like it's basic abilities.

  But before they could continue Bennett arrived at the battlefield.

  And sees how Jason and Mei are clearly covered in dirt and Aiko mysteriously is still clean as if she haven't been fighting in an intense battle.

  Ohh Bennett good timing will you please lead one of them away I just need 30 seconds or so and I'll be able to help you~

  Sure I assume it's because ayaka hasn't shown up?

  I assume she has been eliminated and while you are Rank 3 if you get that harpy there angry enough she will be sloppy now good luck I'll go and beat Jason real quick

  She then dashed towards Jason as he prepared to use electric overdrive and then Bennett dashed towards the forest not before shouting.

  A wingless harpy, what a joke I can't even make you into fried chicken~!!

  Which caused Mei's eye to twitch and breath trying to calm herself down but the next insult shattered any chances of being rational and chased after Bennett.

  Bet you ain't chasing me cause your eyes are trash!!

  As she chases Bennett Jason tries to stop her and reason with her but it was too late as he's now clashing with Aiko.

  Danmit I'll have to do it then

  Electric Overclock!! His strength speed and power tripled instantly overpowering Aiko and he makes a Grab for her neck

  She smirks as his arm gets closer and she uses her bind skill.

  Instantly binding him allowing her to make distance and use Inari Protection just as he ripped the binds and sent an overcharged lightning Nova

  It crashes on the defence, slowing down as it gets closer.

  But she then dodged to her left and deactivated the ability causing it to fly past her harmlessly.

  Jason then appeared in front of her with lightning whips attempting to bind her.

  She then ran towards him and jumped forcing her body sideways and spinning right between the gaps of his whips and reached him.

  Then she used Overload on his chest just as he made lightning protect it but before he got blasted away by her overload she grabbed his shirt and shoved her hand right through his lightning with Inari Rage.

  I'm sorry but your temporary boost made you easier to predict its obvious your not used to that much of a strength boost~

  Jason desperately tried to summon his lightning but felt his body rapidly weakening as his ability reached its time limit.

  D-damn well played...

  He soon disappeared.

  She started skipping towards where Bennett run since only 5 seconds passed and she did tell him 30seconds

  With Bennett and Mei

  Bennett is crashing through 2 trees and smacked right into a boulder one of his arms missing

  Hehe whats wrong are you angry~ he said in a baby voice to Mei

  Y-you!! I'll kill you!!!

  She dashed her sword into a thrust as Bennett activated all the shields remaining mana to block but it wasn't enough. It ripped right through it like a knife through butter and stabbed him in the chest.

  She pulled put and went for another stab instead of eliminating Bennett out of sheer anger.

  Allowing Bennett to toss away his shield and enlarge his Stagg and thrust it at her sword activating Revolving Cinder and Savage Swipe and as usual her sword ripped right through his staff destroying it and cutting his arm off.

  Any last words human?! She spat out of anger.

  Bennett grinned.

  You still act like a chicken~

  Oh screw you!! And she goes for a finishing blow but suddenly a thick ice wall appears in front of Bennett barely blocking the attack and shattering as Bennett is taken to safety by kaeris.

  Damn you got stuck with the stalling mission? I don't pity you

  He said looking at Bennett's lack of arms

  But as Mei heard that her eyes widened.

  CRAP CRAP CRAP I left Jason she then turned and is about to leave her anger forgotten.

  but kaeris blocked her by sending ice spikes around her to impale her but she effortlessly dodged all the spikes.

  Then Kaeris sent out with whatever mana remaining his unstable Cobalt Flames at her its the size of his hand.

  She saw it and scoffed

  With this little blue fire it won't do anything!

  She then swiped her sword up right left down and repeated it so fast the fireball was dispelled without an explosion as she shredded it to nothing.

  Mei stopped talking suddenly as she felt something was wrong as she saw kaeris arrogantly smirking.

  Gameover.

  Kaeris said before he falls on his ass.

  As for Mei she can see 9 flame infused fox tails sticking through her chest as she's eliminated and taken out of the tournament.

  Aiko then greets Kaeris and Bennett as if she didn't just casually eliminate Mei.

  Seems like we're the only ones left.

  Well then stay here and recuperate and Bennett here

  Aiko tossed Bennett a Death Returning pill

  Allowing him to regrow his arms in a gruesome display as bones first regrowed followed by his vessels muscle and skin.

  AHHHHHHHHHH-

  His voice cuts off as he's unable to scream in pain anymore his regrowing arms trembling as he's in pain feeling the winds touch his muscles as his skin grows causing even more pain.

  Once his arms are back he has already fallen unconscious.

  Well then kaeris stay here with Bennett I shall go eliminate the rest of the opponents team as I'm sure they have lots of injuries from the previous day when we ambushed them.

  She then left and after a few hours they were all teleported back meaning the tournament officially has ended as Bennett stirs awake.

  Ugh, it seems like we're out of the tournament.

  He then sees everyone that "died' in the tournament.

  And realization struck him.

  Oh yea the instructors did say we are guaranteed to live still they could have atleast be more clear about it he said to kaeris as he stood up.

  Also thanks for guarding me.

  Soon an instructor appeared, it's Josh.

  Of course you're all alive if we couldn't be 100% sure you all can be kept alive we wouldn't have this tournament otherwise.

  Bennett's eyes twitched.

  If that's the case why won't you use these machines when battling the beasts then huh??

  Josh shook his head as Jane smacked him behind his head.

  Ignore this idiot aa for why it required the reserves of an elite rank fighter to power it for a day and it only works in the small area you were all in.

  Cutting Bennett off before he could talk

  Before you say that using one elite to save multiple elites is worth it.

  It only works for Apprentice ranks so we tend to make our Apprentices go through this battle at least once so you know the taste of sweet death~
