  Aetherguard Suit Mark I - a black exoskeleton with exposed metallic struts at the elbows, knees, and spine, boosting strength at the joints with hydraulic-assist coil.

  Aetherguard Suit Mark II - a more advanced version of Mark I, providing more defensive capabilites. Looks more like an entire suit of armor but lacks a helm.

  Aetherguard Suit Mark III - a more advanced version of Mark II, providing even more defensive capabilites. A black suit of armor including a helm and weapons attached to the arms. Worn exclusively by the Obsidian Crows.

  Aetheris Bullet - led bullet embedded with Aetheris. Can pierce through anything.

  Aetherprint - biometric arcane fingerprint. Unique to every person and Aetheris crystal.

  Aidan (a.k.a. Spellsword) - Chronos' former Champion. From Goren's world. MC of the previous installment.

  Ainsworth - an oligarch who helps Casten Vorrick fight off the rogue Valets.

  Alice Verldson - an inventor Viktor meets at the Expo. Heiress to House Energy.

  Anastasia Wright - Senior Clerk at the DGO.

  Annual Grand Exposition (a.k.a. Expo) - an annual showcase of inventions created by Solvane's inventors. Held in Skyhaven.

  Armor-Piercer - a small gun created by Graham Stanford. Shoots bullets embedded with Aetheris.

  Ascension Board - the body that gives clearances for citizens to travel between platform.

  Aureon - Chronos' ally. Dolos' son.

  Balthor - an aged butler. Chronos' assistant and former Champion.

  Battle Against Darkness (a.k.a. The Battle Against Darkness or simply Battle) - the term used to describe the battle against Erebus which takes place once every 1000 years.

  Blake (a.k.a. Enforcer Blake) - the Enforcer that accompanies Viktor at DGO.

  Brambleton Publishing - name of a publishing house in Solvane. Operates in Orlinth.

  Brasseagle Mark V - airship. Old mark. Used mostly in Orlinth and the Foundry.

  Brown (a.k.a. Enforcer Brown) - the Enforcer that is called to Stanford's house.

  Caldra Huntington - an oligarch who helps Casten Vorrick organize the survivors. Head of House Education.

  Eye for Lie (a.k.a. The Eye for Lie) - Alice's invention. Supposed to work as a real-time lie detector.

  Calibration Hall (a.k.a. The Calibration Hall) - a governemnt establishment were the calibration of the COG using a person's blood happens.

  Calibration Index - COG's functions menu.

  Casten Vorrick (a.k.a. Prime Casten Vorrick) - Head of House Security.

  Cecilia Baines - Viktor's mother. A genius inventor that created the magitek-steam engines that hold the platforms of Orlinth and Skyhaven afloat with zero-to-no maintenance.

  Champion - a term used to describe the person chosen by either Chronos or Dolos to fight the Battle.

  Channel Core (a.k.a. The Channel Core) - the part of the COG into which you slide a mana crystal to use it magic.

  Chrono Quill - Viktor's invention for the Expo. A self-writing mechanism that would record everything spoken within earshot, transcribing and timestamping each sentence to the minute.

  Chronos - the God of Time.

  Cicero - Dolos' assistant.

  Civic Omni-Gear (a.k.a. COG) - a mandatory-to-wear bracer. Translates mana crystals into usable magic. Used for everyday life as well.

  Colton Banks - an inventor participating at the Expo. His invention: self-adjusting spectacles.

  Committee of Mechanized Advancement (a.k.a. CMA) - the body in charge of the Annual Grand Exposition in Skyhaven. Operates under OIA, and House Innovation.

  Communication Annex (a.k.a. COMM-ANNEX) – a central room for sending messages directly into people's COGs.

  Dalton Rose (a.k.a. Primarch Dalton Rose) - Head of House Agriculture and Solvane.

  Dematerializer (a.k.a. The Dematerializer) - a small attachment used to upgrade COGs. Connected to the Integration Port.

  Devin - Viktor's high school bully. Currently an Ironwatch Enforcer.

  Dinah White - an inventor participating at the Expo. Her invention: the dragonfly automaton.

  Divine (a.k.a. the Divine) - a tall tower in the center of Skyhaven. The tallest structure on the platform. Hosts the Expo.

  Divine Phrase - a phrase Gods use to prove they're speaking the truth. "...and if I’m wrong – may I be struck by lightning this moment."

  Divine Realms (a.k.a. The Divine Realms) - the realms where most gods and higher deities reside.

  Divine Rules (a.k.a. The Divine Rules) - a set of rules written to serve as guidance for each Battle.

  Division of Applied Research and Advancement (a.k.a. DARA) - the R&D division of OIA.

  Division of Gear Oversight (a.k.a. DGO) - the division that controls the Dematerializers’ creation (among other tools) and decides who gets a chance of using one. Operates under OIA.

  Dolos - the God of Lies and Deception.

  Duran (a.k.a. Captain Duran) - an Ironwatch Enforcer that guards the West-Central Orlinth Cargo Dock on the day Viktor loops.

  Enforcer (or Ironwatch Enforcer) - the role of on-field Ironwatch members.

  Erebus - the embodiment of Darkness. Father of Thanata.

  Foundry - Solvane's bottom tier.

  Gibbs (a.k.a. Enforcer Gibbs) - the Enforcer that is called to Stanford's house.

  Gina Aresa, Dr. - Viktor's psychatrist.

  Goren Shein (a.k.a. The Rogue) - Chronos' assistant and Dolos' former Champion.

  Government Hub #2 - an avenue is Skyhaven containing a number of government establishments, including the Calibration Hall.

  Graham Stanford (a.k.a. Mr. Stanford) - a CMA member. Was the only one from the board who approved Viktor's invention for the Expo.

  Halden Heights - a rich residential neighbourhood in Skyhaven.

  Harvey Leighton - Viktor's cellmate at the station at the beginning of the loop day. A Skyhaven resident. Assistant of Caldra Huntington.

  High Technicians (a.k.a. The HIgh Technicians) - the three individuals who know the inner machinations of the COG and are assigned to calibrate each one.

  Integration Port - the part of the COG into which you connect the Dematerializer.

  Inventory - a pocket in space where Viktor can store items. Given to him by Chronos.

  Ironwatch Constabulary - Solvane's police force.

  Key-Coins - fake coins that Stanford created as a key to his workshop's safe.

  Libra - shadow organization whose goal is to overthrow the ruling class and break the tiers-society. Led by Valdemar.

  Obsidian Crows - Ironwatch's spec-ops unit.

  Office of Internal Advancement (a.k.a. OIA) - the body responsible for overseeing technological progress, and for regulating the COG and every other magitek tool or system in Solvane. Operated under House Innovation.

  Orlinth - Solvane's middle tier.

  Pandemonium - an evil place where chaos resides.

  Pixelle - Pink-haired young woman. Chronos' assistant and former Champion.

  Porter Carriage - a rickshaw-like carriage led by an automaton. Used only in Skyhaven.

  Realm Bridge (a.k.a. The Realm Bridge) - a place in the Divine Realms from which teleportation to private godly realms is possible.

  Rebecca Gilmore - Chief Clerk in the Division of Gear Oversight.

  Richard Watson - Chief Engineer in the Division of Gear Oversight.

  Robert - a Skyhaven resident who is a devoted follower of Valdemar. Is a member of Libra.

  Sanity Clearance Certificate (a.k.a. SCC) - a document received by a licensed psychiatrist deeming a person a reformed individual.

  Skybound Trial - a test taken by Orlinth residents. The test's purpose is to determine whether an individual is fit to permanently move to Skyhaven.

  Skyhaven - Solvane's upper tier.

  Skyhaven Passenger Terminal - an airship station used for transportation to Skyhaven.

  Solvane - a large city built on three distinct layers. Supposedly the only habitable place on this version of Earth.

  Steamcrown - Solvane's main currency.

  Stephan Halegrim - Viktor's father.

  Thanata - Goddes of Death. Daughter of Erebus.

  Thea Stanford - Graham Stanford's daughter and Viktor's half-sister.

  The Creator - main god of creation. Chronos' father.

  The Divine Judge - a religious nickname Robert calls Valdemar by.

  Themis - God of Justice and Divine Arbitration.

  Time Plane Memory - memory fragments scattered throughout Solvane and can only be seen by the Champion using the Deja vu System.

  Time Realm - Chronos' domain.

  Trent Jones - 17 years old. Viktor's friend who is like a little brother to him.

  Valdemar - the leader of Libra. Supposedly no one knows what he looks or sounds like.

  Viktor Halegrim - the protagonist.

  West-Central Orlinth Cargo Dock - one of Orlinth's cargo docks. Used for cargo transportation between platforms. Occasionally used to transport Orlinth residents to Skyhaven as well.

  ZK-0 (a.k.a. Zee) - an automaton created by Graham Stanford using his knowledge of the Aetherprint to track his daughter.
