2-28 BUILD UP

Lillik chose a bright and radiant outfit for the first time in a while.

Standing before the mirror, she slowly finished her makeup,

tidying the area around her eyes and applying a light tint to her lips. She is planning to meet Kerensky.

She intends to ask him for a platform where she can speak to the entire world at the United Nations building.

Of course, Kerensky will ask why she wants to give a speech at the UN.

Before heading to the hangar where the spacecraft's small scout ships are docked, she organized her thoughts once more.

Sitting in her chair, she began to write down the current situation on a piece of paper on her desk.

  She wrote :The Visible Situation

  Current Global Context:

People around the world are beginning to recover from the initial shock of the space warship’s appearance and the existence of extraterrestrials.

Various nations are requesting meetings with the extraterrestrial entity through President Kerensky.

However, the world's superpowers have judged the alien warship to be a substantive threat.

A military strike against the spacecraft is expected to take place shortly.

  ====================

Lillik quickly summarized the situation thus far.

What exactly would she speak about at the UN? She needs a justification.

If R launches an attack, she must explain to the people of Earth why they are striking back. She must act preemptively.

Action requires procedure, and within that procedure, she must find the justification for her final move.

What is the goal? Lillik picked up her pen, then set it down again.

Lillik was not the original extraterrestrial who arrived on Earth. It was in 1947 that she, then an Arabian woman, met her illik,

which transformed her into who she is today—living as the administrator of the space warship ever since.

Initially, there were only two: Junho in Korea and illik. These two have existed through 700,000 years of history up to the present day.

The term "existing" is more accurate than "living." Junho, having settled in Korea since the Joseon Dynasty,

has shown no interest in the management of the warship, Illik, Lillik herself, or even the issues regarding the ship's droids.

Since the Joseon era, Junho had already established his own laboratory and remained in seclusion.

It was illik who first realized that a problem had occurred.

She discovered that a constant radio signal was being transmitted from the space warship into deep space.

This was something that should never have happened.

The droids that arrived on Earth 700,000 years ago were research droids, quite different from the current military droids.

It seemed that with each passing era and every version upgrade, the droids had gradually evolved.

However, the fact that the space warship is stationed on Earth must remain a secret.

In 2025, she learned that an Officer Droid was sending transmissions into space.

Worse yet, the signal was aimed exactly toward their home planet. Of course, the probability of the home planet intercepting that signal is not high.

However, the possibility exists. It has been 700,000 years since they left; it is impossible to even imagine how much that civilization has advanced.

  They must prepare somehow.

For now, the Officer Droid has been deleted, and Vadim has taken over that role.

He is human, and he will protect the Earth.

If a massive energy signature is detected from space, Vadim must take the space warship out into the cosmos to meet that energy and either negotiate with it or face death.

That is the critical issue. Earth must prepare for the threats that lie ahead specifically, the invisible cosmic threats.

However, Earth is not free from the conflicts and struggles rooted in history, religion, ideology, energy, and power between nations.

It was believed that after World War II, such wars would no longer occur.

Yet, humanity learned that there is something to be gained from conflict.

War became a primary tool for those in power to evade their internal problems.

The most significant reason illik decided to expose the space warship to the people of Earth was for the so-called "shock effect."

It was to announce the existence of a being far more powerful than the strength of any warmongering nation.

The energy required to keep a massive warship suspended in mid-air, the ability to hack a

  nation's military and internet networks,

the neutralization of military weaponry, and the use of the spacecraft's stealth defense

systems to disable enemy antennas not to mention the pinpoint strikes delivered at cosmic

speeds by smaller scout craft these were technologies that no nation on Earth had ever possessed.

  But there was one problem.

For all these systems to operate, there must be an infinite supply of energy,

and the warship would need a vast fleet of smaller craft to contend with the entire planet.

No matter how powerful a single warship is, there are limits to its offense and defense.

This is why Lillik does not seek a quick victory through the indiscriminate destruction of R.

A victory achieved through brute force is not a true victory; it is merely a one-time win.

If the warship wins through war, it will instantly become a lifelong emotional enemy to all the citizens of R.

  —-----

Above all, illik in the US, Min in North Korea, Junho in South Korea, and Lillik, me all know that the enemy Earth must face is not an internal one.

There is the possibility of a battle against a powerful alien fleet coming from deep space.

The superpowers of Earth are under the illusion that they can do anything with their own military might.

They simply haven't encountered a power greater than their own yet.

That is why illik exposed the extraterrestrial spacecraft at this specific time.

  True power does not lie in a nation's military strength, missiles, or drones;

it lies in the "Peace Power" of ordinary people—the collective desire for peace held by individuals.

The citizens of R also possess this Peace Power, and they will use it.

It is this power that will stop the war and halt the leadership of R.

Even with the presence of an alien warship, war broke out again.

Not all wars can be stopped by the mere appearance of a spacecraft.

It is only possible when the Peace Power of the common people those who do not want war is gathered together.

Lillik intends to explain the process toward global peace at the UN.

She will state that if they are ever forced to attack another country,

it will only be as an unavoidable last resort after enduring as much as possible.

She plans to declare that even if R attacks the space warship,

she will remain patient until the very end.

She will emphasize that any physical retaliation from the warship will occur only in an inevitable situation,

following maximum patience and attempts at compromise.

Furthermore, she will call upon every individual and ordinary person on Earth never to give up

their "Peace Power"—the love for peace—and their "Freedom Power"—the will to fight against all forms of tyranny that suppress liberty.

At the UN, she will proclaim that the space warship will be their friend.

Lillik holds the belief that the reformation of Earth will begin on the Korean Peninsula, and she is currently building up toward that goal.

Lillik moved her steps slowly toward the hangar.

Inside the iron doors, a low mechanical hum vibrated through the air.

The rhythmic yet tense buzzing signaled that departure was imminent.

In front of the small scout ship inside the hangar, the military droids seemed to have gathered to see Lillik off. Vadim was standing before the craft.

Upon seeing Lillik, he bowed his waist silently with the disciplined movement characteristic of a soldier.

While his face showed almost no emotion, his gaze appeared firmer than usual.

  "Lady Lillik."

A brief silence followed the short address.

Lillik looked at him for a moment before shifting her gaze to the scout ship.

  "Vadim... let's go."

It was a calm remark. However, it contained neither hesitation nor fear.

  Vadim nodded once more.

  "Yes, Ma'am."
