Epilogue Part 1

  High above the skies of Dakara, Baal, the most powerful of the System Lords, sat in his flagship awaiting the response of the other Goa'uld. Word had spread throughout Goa'uld space of a new union that threatened the power and dominion of the System Lords.

  Joining him in a conference over subspace were none other than the System Lords Nirti, Yu, Camulus, Morigan, Kali, Bastet, and Olukun.

  "Welcome everyone, I hope you forgive the abrupt calling of this meeting but I have been made aware of recent disturbing events that could very well threaten our existence," said Lord Baal.

  "What is it Baal? What troubles the strongest among us?"said Nirti.

  "The Lantean Commonwealth,"said the superior System Lord. "A coalition of the most advanced human worlds has been formed in order to bring down our hegemony."

  "I have heard of this new threat,"said Camulus. "Even now their warships have begun to harass my Ha'Taks."

  "Are they formidable?"inquired Morigan.

  Camulus's features fumed with rage, "They have ships and weaponry that I have never seen before. Both Osiris and Tanith have already fallen to this new Commonwealth… and then there is what happened to Savrog."

  "Has Savrog fallen?" wondered Olukun.

  Camulus shook his head in dismay.

  "Yes. Savrog is gone. Defeated by these Lanteans,"said Camulus.

  "H-How is that so, Savrog commanded tens of thousands of Jaffa and he also had a sizable fleet,"said Kali, her voice wavering with disbelief.

  "One ship,"said Camulus.

  "Huh?" Bastet responded.

  "Just one ship. That's all it took. Just one ship and they wiped out Savrog's entire fleet,"said the trembling Camulus.

  "What!"screamed the other System Lords in unison.

  Baal shook his head in agreement. "That is why I called this meeting. We need to come together to combat this threat,"said Baal.

  "How are we supposed to handle the Lantean Commonwealth if they can destroy 20 ships with only one of their vessels?" said Lord Yu.

  "Not only that, but I also heard their leader, Amos Fyree, holds the power of the Ancients," said Camulus. "He will be formidable if not impossible to deal with."

  In the shadows of Baal's ship a dark and menacing presence stepped forward. When Baal laid his eyes on the mysterious entity he nearly fell out of his chair.

  "Jaffa, Kree!"said Lord Baal as the dark presence came into view.

  Two jaffa, armed with staff weapons, shot energy blasts at the mysterious presence, but instead of hitting the ominous figure they simply stopped then returned back to the Jaffa who fired them, knocking both Jaffa to the ground.

  "W-who are you?" said Lord Baal, his hands up groveling from the ground.

  "I am Anubis. You will refer to me as the God of the Goa'uld."

  Nirti laughed, feeling safe behind the comfort of the view screen. She then looked at him and said, "You can't be Anubis. Anubis is dead. I watched him die myself. Now please tell us who you really are or —"

  Nirti began to choke. Her words cut short by the lack of air reaching her lungs.

  "Amos Fyree isn't the only one with the power of the Ancients,"said Anubis, his hand held up towards the direction of Nirti's view screen.

  Anubis let go of Nirti's throat with his telepathic grip and said,"I have returned to you to help you do battle with this new enemy. Together we will stop the rise of the Lantean Commonwealth and prevent the fall of the Goa'uld. With my knowledge and my power the System Lords will be unstoppable."

  The System Lords got in line and uttered with one voice:

  "Hail Anubis, The God of the Goa'uld!"

  "Hail Anubis, The Supreme System Lord!"
