Monster Taming Class ( Part - 2 )

  Hizashi No Kage

  Chapter - 14

This shield belonged to Akash, who had just entered the boss room moments ago.

Now, all three of them started looking at each other and thinking about their next move.

Before Manjula could say anything, healing magic began on her body.

"Manjula, you attack. I'll handle defense and support." Akash shouted.

For the first time, Manjula felt that Akash had a brain.

Now she readied her sword again and got prepared.

Hameel got angry, because Akash had interfered in his fight.

"You will die first, boy!" Shouting this much, he pounced on Akash.

Akash removed the shield from Manjula and put it on himself. Hameel was surprised, because he couldn't break the shield in one go.

Meanwhile, from behind, Manjula used the Super Shadow Binding skill. Hameel got trapped again.

Then Manjula immediately came near Akash and said, "Listen, you will have to endure his attacks for about 70 seconds. I have to prepare my final attack."

"Wait, wait! If this dragon attacks just once or twice more, my shield would break. How will I stop him for 70 seconds?" Akash said.

Manjula didn't have much time. Hameel could break free from her binding at any moment.

"Give me your hand." - saying this much, Manjula held Akash's hand and showed him by using a skill.

"Feel what I do." - saying this, Manjula created a small sphere of darkness above Akash's hand, then another sphere above it, then another, and then........

  "Understood?" Manjula asked finally.

Akash was still in the thought that Manjula had held his hand, but immediately said, "Yes, understood."

Manjula stood a few steps behind Akash and after saying this, "Deactivate the shield only when I say," she closed her eyes and started activating her skill.

Akash immediately surrounded both of them in a light shield. Then he added another layer, then another, then another.... Doing this, he added 10 layers.

He was about to add another layer, but then Hameel punched and broke his 10th layer itself. He had become free from the binding and had come exactly in front of them.

Another punch landed — the 9th layer broke.

Another punch — the 8th layer also broke.

Hameel struck with both hands. The Seventh, Sixth and Fifth layers also broke.

Akash fell to his knees and there were still 40 seconds left. But how could Akash fight against this power?

Hameel was striking blow after blow in full rage. He landed another strong punch. The Fourth and Third layers also broke.

Now Hameel was enjoying it. Laughing, he said, "Either your shield will win today, or my punches will win."

And with this, another punch landed, but this time the Second layer did not break. Hameel was surprised.

Then Akash replied to him, laughing just like him, "Today, I will definitely win, because..."

(But Akash didn't say anything further. He was afraid that Manjula might also hear his words. Actually, he was going to say — because today my waifu held my hand.)

Hameel roared and struck another blow, but this time too the shield did not break.

  Akash immediately added another layer.

Hameel's eyes shone with anger and he prepared a compressed air punch and struck. Three layers broke simultaneously.

Akash immediately turned back and looked. Manjula was still preparing her attack with her eyes closed. 20 seconds were still left.

Another blow came. Akash created a layer in time, but that too broke.

Then another blow came. Akash created a layer at the last moment which broke immediately.

Akash could fall at any moment. He was somehow on his knees, continuously creating shields.

  13 seconds were left.

A powerful punch came. Akash understood that his shield would not be able to stop this punch. Using all his energy, he stood up and struck a light punch.

Akash's hand had to bear the full force of the dragon's punch. His hand broke that very moment. Akash fell down.

"Ultimate Shadow Spike!" - just then Manjula performed her final attack from behind.

A very sharp, deep purple, shimmering spear sped towards Hameel at the speed of light.

  But.... but..... but.....

Hameel dodged at the last moment and Manjula's attack missed!

And then the very next moment, Hameel pinned Akash under one of his claws and Manjula under the other.

Akash and Manjula could do nothing now. Their death was certain.

But then Hameel put a proposal before them-

"Look, weak, pathetic humans! Earlier I was only going to kill one human, and even now I want to kill only one human. You tell me whose life I should take."

Akash didn't understand anything. What kind of sick game is this?

But then he remembered that Dragons only enjoy playing games with humans.

"Will it really spare Manjula's life?"- Akash was just thinking this when Manjula spoke up, "I started the fight with you. This boy came in the middle for no reason. Take my life and avenge your brother's servitude."

  "No!!!!" - Akash screamed.

Hameel laughed and lifting his claws said, "You both decide amongst yourselves and tell me. You have 10 seconds."

Akash and Manjula both immediately got up and started moving forward to present themselves before Hameel.

When both realized that they were both moving forward, they both stopped.

Akash went near Manjula and said, "You are the princess of Kamil kingdom. I am a woodcutter's—"

"Nonsense! All this is happening because of my greed. Quietly step back," Manjula shouted loudly.

For the first time, Akash saw how extremely angry the calm and sensible Manjula had become.

"How can I not love you... " --Akash thought this in his mind and said, "Okay. Go."

As soon as Manjula started moving forward, the next moment Akash struck her on the neck from behind so that she became unconscious.

  Akash presented himself before Hameel.

Hameel had seen this entire spectacle.

"You both are good humans," Hameel said.

"So let us go on this basis then," Akash said laughingly.

Hameel also laughed and said, "Alright, fine....."
