Chapter 30: Trapped in the Room

  "Police checking rooms?" Xie Feiyu hung up the phone, remembering what the lady said at registration about "sweeping yellow and fighting against non-licensed businesses". "Let them check, I don't do anything illegal like prostitution or gambling, what's there to be afraid of?" Xie Feiyu drowsily turned around and headed towards the bed.

  "What's going on?" Lan Xiang also woke up and asked.

  "It's nothing, they said the police are coming to inspect the house, maybe it's some kind of activity? By the way, did you bring your ID?"

  "There is, in the interlayer of that wallet, you take a look, I'll sleep for a while." Lan Xing said with a yawn.

  "Hey, it seems like there's really something fishy going on inside. Is that right?" Upper Official Tong looked at Xie Feiyu with a playful gaze, who was blocking the doorway.

  "Director-General Shang, considering our familiarity with each other, why don't you just not go in? Yuan Hao likes to sleep a lot, and if he sees you, it'll tarnish your noble eyesight." Xie Feiyu said with a smile.

  "Isn't the person inside that little fatty Yuan Hao, rather than some woman?" Shangguan Tong asked with a smile.

  But before he could even react, Shangguan Tong's body suddenly flashed and dodged past Xie Feiyu, twisting the doorknob and pushing the door open with a loud "bang".

  "Ah..." Xie Feiyu only then realized he had been deceived. Thinking of Lan Xin on the bed, Xie Feiyu's face turned ashen. It was all over.

  "Thank you, Fei Yu!" Shangguan Tong shouted from inside.

  It's all over, let's get this over with. Xie Fei Yu couldn't help but smile wryly in his heart as he hung his head and followed them in.

  "Captain Shang, we're innocent, we didn't do anything." Xie Feiyu explained.

  Who? What person? Xie Feiyu was startled and looked up to see that Lan Xin's figure had indeed disappeared from the bed. Xie Feiyu let out a sigh of relief, glanced at the locked bathroom door, and said: "She was just on the bed earlier, probably went to the toilet.   "Alright, I'll leave you alone then." Shangguan Tong's mood seemed to drop suddenly, and he turned to walk towards the door. "This Yuan Hao kid has a pretty unique hobby, actually liking to carry a small female-style bag."

  Looking at the small package on the table, Xie Feiyu broke out in a cold sweat. How could he have forgotten this?

  "And be nicer to Ou Yang Yan!" Shang Guan Tong said as he walked to the door and turned his head back.

  "Oh." Xie Feiyu knew that Shangguan Tong had mistakenly thought that the person in the bathroom was Ouyang Yan, but he didn't know how to explain it either. Anyway, being mistaken for Ouyang Yan was much better than knowing it was Lanxin. After all, students dating each other were more acceptable than a teacher-student romance.
