Chapter 50: Let Go of My Orchid

Chapter 50: Let Go of My Orchid

These few pots of Yilan are not easily obtained from a master who cultivates orchids! They are Yilan that have undergone variation after stone garlic alkaloid, with a variation rate of only one in a thousand! After later cultivation, not only did it eliminate the toxicity of the variant orchid, but also extracted a new component similar to aloe vera's aloe-emodin, which has moisturizing, anti-pruritus, and skin elasticity-enhancing effects!

  That's exactly what she needs!

Lin Yue'er has been taking good care of these orchid babies, and she doesn't know where the problem is. How did the orchids go wrong in just one day?

She hastily picked up a pot of orchids and walked out, "Aunt Hua, I have something to attend to, I'll be right back!"

"Big Little Grandma, you haven't had dinner yet, it's crazy at the end of Ming Dynasty."

  "I'm full."

Lin Yue'er hastily went downstairs, with Hua Yi following behind her. "Young mistress, it's so late, why not wait for young master to return and let him send you?"

  "It's okay!"

Just then, Gu Xi Cen happened to come in from outside. Seeing him, Hua Yi quickly said, "Second Young Master, Eldest Young Mistress wants to go out, can you send her off? It's so late, I'm worried."

Gu Xi Cen turned her head to the side, seeing Lin Yue'er holding a pot of orchids, her cheeks slightly flushed, a pair of bright eyes staring at him with unspoken urgency.

He didn't say anything, he just nodded slightly.

He turned around and went out of the door again.

Lin Yue hurriedly followed him and sat in his car, "To Zhanglian County."

Gu Xi Cen didn't ask any more questions, and the car turned around and drove out of the villa area.

Lin Yue'er lowered her head, staring tensely at the orchid and muttering to herself, "Where did it go wrong? I clearly followed his instructions in caring for it..."

Gu Xi Cen glanced through the rearview mirror and her gaze fell on the orchid she was holding in her arms like a treasure.

He asked faintly, "Have you used fertilizer?"

Lin Yue'er nodded, "I used the water that had been used to soak beans!"

  "Is there fermentation?"

"Fermentation?" Lin Yue'er raised her head in confusion, "Isn't it said that as long as it's soaked, it's fine? Do you still need to... ferment it?"

Gu Xi Cen's eyes narrowed slightly, and without saying another word, she turned the car around and headed back.

Lin Yue'er was anxious, "Hey, why did you come back again? I want to go find Uncle Hua Nong to save my orchid!"

Gu Xi Cen turned her head and glanced at her, "Sit down."

A lukewarm sentence, yet intimidating enough.

Lin Yue'er glared at him, but didn't dare speak out of anger.

Who let her sit in someone else's car?

  Especially for family caregivers!

The car drove back to the Gu's house. After Gu Xi Cen got out of the car, she took the potted orchid from Lin Yue Er's hands and went straight into the house.

"Hey, you..." Lin Yue'er immediately followed up with a small run.

Gu Xi Cen arrived at her laboratory balcony, crouched down, carefully examined the leaves, petals and soil. Then, stretched out her hand, "Knife."

"Huh?" Lin Yue'er was stunned and didn't react for a moment.

He raised his head, twitched his eyebrow and repeated, "Knife."

Lin Yueer then heard clearly, turned around and sat on the experimental table to find a knife, handed it over.

Gu Xi Cen took it over, using a knife to gently pry up the soil, carefully exposing the roots of the flowers inside.

Lin Yue'er curiously squatted beside him, staring at his every move with curiosity. However, when she saw Gu Xi Chen actually using a knife to cut out several mouths from the base of the orchid, she was shocked and let out a sharp cry, "Gu Xi Chen, let go of my orchid!!"

Gu Xi Cen raised her head and looked at her, "So, you remember my name. I thought you would only call me 'hey'."
