"If you have nothing else to do, then leave."
The middle-aged man could not imagine that the Uchiha cn people were truly stubborn, refusing both soft and hard approaches. At the same time, he began to resent the Uchiha cn.
Without the elder's theft, relying on his usual meager income, his quality of life would drastically decline.
'The damn Uchiha, they are just as the other vilgers say. Such trivial matters are treated so seriously.'
At this moment, Idaka came to the office.
He happened to see the middle-aged man walking out of the office with an unhappy face, and Elder Uchiha Hachiyo sitting in his seat with a sullen expression.
Smiling, he asked, "Elder, what happened again that made you so unhappy?"
Hachiyo expined the previous incident. He was truly fed up with such things—these vilgers were always trying to interfere with Uchiha's w enforcement, which was incredibly frustrating.
If they vioted the Guard's security ordinance, whether young or old, they all had to be dealt with. Enforcement would not rex due to someone's age.
Idaka, however, agreed. "I agree with what you did, Elder. We can't let someone go just because they're old; it would be disastrous if they became a habitual offender."
Seeing that his cnsmen supported him, Hachiyo felt even more justified and much better.
"You brat, why aren't you out patrolling? What did you come here for? You aren't scking off, are you?"
Idaka quickly said, "Of course not! I wanted to recommend a Uchiha cnsman to you. If we can bring him into our radical faction, we can further revive the Uchiha cn."
Hachiyo immediately became interested. The family's current situation in the vilge was poor, and he deeply felt the exclusion and disdain from the upper echelons.
And yet, the cn leader kept compromising with the higher-ups of Konoha. Hachiyo was both angered and anxious about it.
Only by gathering like-minded young talents within the cn and putting pressure on the cn leader could they stop compromising with Konoha's leadership and restore the Uchiha cn's glory.
Of course, he never considered seizing power.
The cn leader was a master among the Uchiha, and Hachiyo deeply admired his strength. He himself was not powerful enough to stand alone, nor did he have the ability to lead the Uchiha.
"Who are you recommending?"
Uchiha Idaka smiled. "The eldest elder's grandson, Uchiha Ryosuke."
"If we can bring him over, we could even get the eldest elder on our side."
"At that point, we could successfully pressure the cn leader to confront Konoha's higher-ups and show the pride of the Uchiha cn."
Hachiyo pondered for a moment upon hearing this name.
He didn't particurly like this cnsman. Despite being a member of the Guard, Ryosuke rarely came to work properly.
He had spoken about it with Fugaku, the cn leader.
But the cn leader had told him to leave it be.
There was nothing Hachiyo could do. After all, Ryosuke's grandfather was the eldest elder, who held the highest seniority.
Even the cn leader had to give him face, let alone Hachiyo.
"Why him? Has he shown signs of resisting Konoha's higher-ups or a desire to restore the Uchiha cn?"
Idaka became quiet. "That, I don't know for sure."
"I suggested him because Ryosuke is a Uchiha genius. Not only did he defeat me in taijutsu, but he has also awakened the three-tomoe Sharingan. Although it was just recently awakened, his visual prowess is already stronger than mine."
"You know, among the cn's young talents who could carry the banner, there are only Uchiha Shisui and Uchiha Itachi, but both of them are in the Hokage's Anbu."
"They can't be trusted anymore."
"Ryosuke might be the third young talent capable of carrying the banner."
Hachiyo was shocked when he heard this. He hadn't expected this boy to hide so deeply, even awakening the three-tomoe Sharingan.
At just 16 years old, he had defeated Idaka, who was already 20. That truly qualified him as a top-tier genius.
At the same time, Hachiyo was a bit confused. Ryosuke had just awakened the three-tomoe Sharingan, so his visual prowess was strong, but what was this taijutsu about?
"Idaka, why did you lose in taijutsu?"
Logically, taijutsu wasn't a mainstream skill in the shinobi world, and Idaka was a few years older than Ryosuke. There was no reason he should lose.
Idaka expined the situation to Hachiyo.
"When we were sparring in taijutsu, it was originally evenly matched. I used the Great Fireball Jutsu to attack him, but secretly used the Clone Jutsu to leave a clone in pce while I hid."
"Ryosuke indeed started fighting my clone. My main body then took the opportunity to try and take him down."
Hachiyo praised Idaka's tactical skill but remained puzzled. "Based on that strategy, you shouldn't have lost."
Idaka also felt puzzled. "I didn't expect to lose either. The strange part was that Ryosuke's speed suddenly increased, and he blocked my decisive kick."
"I remember his forehead veins bulged, and his skin turned slightly darker."
"Elder Hachiyo, what family secret technique is that?"
Hachiyo thought deeply. Although the Uchiha cn had taijutsu, there didn't seem to be any techniques that could enhance physical abilities like this.
There were some techniques in Konoha that boosted physical abilities, such as the Akimichi cn's Multi-Size Technique.
But those didn't align with what Idaka described about Ryosuke's speed boost.
"I don't know what that is either."
Idaka felt a bit disappointed. He had thought it was a cn taijutsu technique and had wanted to learn it to improve his strength.
But then he thought of something. If the cn didn't have it, where did Ryosuke learn it? Could it be…
"Elder Hachiyo, do you know someone named Might Guy?"
"Ryosuke has been training with him recently."
Hachiyo frowned upon hearing the name Might Guy. However, he did recall the name Might Duy. "You may not know this name since you're from a younger generation, but he was a true taijutsu genius."
"He once fought against the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist during the Third Ninja World War and defeated them. Only three of the seven managed to escape."
Idaka was shocked. "That strong? Why isn't he famous?"
Hachiyo expined. "He was only a genin, so no one publicized his achievements."
"A genin?" Idaka asked, bewildered. The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist were at least jonin level. How could a genin defeat them, let alone kill four?
Unable to hold back, he asked, "How could a genin be that strong?"
Hachiyo replied, "The Eight Gates Technique—an extreme form of taijutsu."
Idaka was suddenly excited. "Elder Hachiyo, does the cn have this technique?"
"Of course not. Don't get any funny ideas. Training in that technique is far harder than you can imagine."
"From what I know, no one in Konoha should know that taijutsu now."
"Moreover, the side effects are severe. Opening all eight gates guarantees death. Even the earlier gates damage the body. Without an extremely strong body, it's impossible to master."
Idaka felt disappointed. He had hoped to try the technique to improve his strength.
Hachiyo specuted, "Might Guy is likely the son of Might Duy. So Ryosuke probably got the Eight Gates training method from him."
"The technique Ryosuke used to suddenly enhance his speed was likely the Eight Gates. It means Ryosuke is a taijutsu genius."
"Bring him here. I'll see if we can recruit him to our side."
