Aqua
First up, I go ahead and send some shock turtles along with numerous poisonous eels towards the different poisonous plants. With my abyssal servants being around the same level as the baby plants.
Which is around forty to fifty levels below the big plant.
Then I watch what happens from the edge of the cavern.
My eyes narrow a little as the eels dance around the little bombs of acidic poison the plants begin shooting out at them. All while the eels gradually disintegrate from the poison already in the water.
But they still manage to take out a couple baby plants before they die. At least making their summoning not pointless.
As for the shock turtles? They actually manage to do rather well.
After all, the electricity they’re letting off is annihilating the poison before it can reach the turtles. Or most of the poison.
Okay, a lot of the poison. But the acidic poison isn’t able to reach the turtles’ actual flesh since the turtles all have their heads and limbs tucked into their shells. And said shells seem to have a strong resistance to the poison.
The only sign that the poison is even doing anything is the faint sizzling sound coming from their shells. Without any actual noticeable damage to them.
And the electricity also burns up the plants as well when the turtles get close enough to them.
It’s just too bad that I don’t have very many of the turtles. Otherwise I’d just use the turtles and only the turtles in this battle.
Seeing as they appear to work rather well against the plant monsters.
Then something happens.
The massive plant monster stops spitting out poison out of nowhere before turning towards the turtles. At which point it opens its large bud mouth and spits out a powerful jet of poison at the turtles.
My eyes narrow a little bit, only to widen again when said poison slams into and completely envelopes two of the turtles.
And when the jet of poison runs its course, spreading into the surrounding water?
The turtles are completely gone.
Holy shit…
Even with their resistance, they were wiped out by the big plant in a single shot.
That doesn’t bode well for me.
[That was… frightening…]
[That’s one powerful plant.]
[Terrifying…]
[Under it. Look under the plant!]
[LOOK UNDER THE PLANT!]
[holy shit…]
[WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THIS PLANT?!]
[first adamantium, now magic ore?]
My eyes widen even more as I notice the chat and turn my attention to the area beneath the plant. Where it’s growing out of.

Holy shit…
It’s growing out of magic ore of all things.
Magic ore is the number one most precious mineral in the Alliance. And it’s a mineral that absorbs mana like a sponge.
When it’s processed, it can even expel mana with ease. Making it immensely useful for making magic weapons.
Ones that you can infuse mana into in order to attack.
That said, magic ore is also dangerous to harvest. Simply because it absorbs and attracts the mana around it. Making for a very deadly location thanks to attracting the monsters nearby as well.
But more importantly, the mana that is attracted to it and isn’t absorbed after the magic ore is completely filled up ends up birthing new monsters around it.
And those monsters then proceed to absorb the mana attracted to the magic ore as well, progressively growing stronger in the process.
With other, stronger monsters trying to take over from time to time. Creating a bit of a war over the territory where the current holder of it grows stronger.
It’s almost like a king of the hill type of game in a way.
I frown at the sight of magic ore, which is currently glowing with a deep greenish purple color. Just like the water in the ocean.
The magic ore right now is way too dangerous for me to even touch. So there’s no way I can…
My thoughts drift off as I figure out a way to mine it.
I glance at the monster on top of the ore. Which is shooting out more jets of poison at my other turtles, slaughtering them in the process.
Down to the last turtle.
After a brief pause, I raise my hand and activate Pressure of the Abyss. Then I condense all of the pressured water into a single spear that I send flying straight at the plant monster.
But all it does is barely leave a scratch against the monster.
Alright. In that case, this really is the only way to deal with the monster.
Seeing as I kind of doubt I’ll be able to kill this thing myself.
Not with all this poison, not with my mana draining away to protect myself, and not with it being able to one-shot my abyssal servants like that.
And especially not in this cramped cave system.
“What do you do when you can’t win a game?” I ask with the faintest hint of a smile stretching across my face as I glance at the chat.
[Give up?]
[Win it anyways?]
[Don’t play the game.]
[Cheat!]
[You shouldn’t cheat in games!]
[People do it all the time. It’s fine.]
[If you can’t win the game, why play it at all?]
[I’d give up.]
I cross my arms as I lower down to the ground while ignoring the other plants turning towards me. Then, with my smile turning into a lazy grin, I summon an abyssal servant.
The dead maw.
And the moment it appears, with its body being faaaaar too large for the cave system, the caves all begin to crumble as its size practically blasts through the ground, sending the entire cave system crumbling and being sent flying into the water around it. Filling the ocean with stone, ore, dirt, and whatever else made up the caves.
“You break it,” I answer my own question.
The chat goes wild as screams and screeches fill the waters around me. Both from my dead maw abyssal servant that took a lot of damage in the process of all that, and the monsters filling the caves that were all crushed and sent flying.
And most importantly, the plant monsters that were all ripped out of the walls, floors, and ceiling.
Now that I’m not in a cramped cave system anymore, I summon some of the larger abyssal servants I fought in my recent hunts. The higher level ones.
Including but not limited to the massive ice whale, the large dolphin that can control water around it, a massive crab, two enormous shark monsters each with two heads, and a large slug spanning a few hundred meters in length. One that actually absorbs poison like a sponge.
I found the thing while passing through the territory over here.
It isn’t actually very strong, but it is immune to and even eats poison.
With all of these abyssal servants summoned, my chances against the plant are now far higher. Especially since the plant was ripped out of the ground.
Despite being ripped out of the ground though, the plant seems to be able to swim. Which looks weird as hell.
It’s just using the vines and leaves to push itself around the water.
Never thought I’d see the day where I’m fighting a swimming plant…
And just after having that thought, the plant turns its main bud to fire another jet of poison straight at the dead maw. Drilling a hole straight into the maw that goes for nearly a hundred meters.
That’s gotta hurt…
Assuming it can even feel pain, that is.
Meanwhile the massive slug abyssal servant just drains away at the poison around us at a very gradual pace. Which seems to draw the attention of the monster as the thing fires off more poison at the slug.
Only for the slug to just open up a large mouth and begin swallowing all of the poison while trembling with what I’m assuming is joy.
I narrow my eyes at the monster before pulling back and having all of my abyssal servants begin attacking it at once while it’s focused on the slug.
Even if my abyssal servants are a lot lower level than this monster, their size should help them here. Simply because of the fact that the monster can’t just keep attacking them endlessly.
Although they’re all so massive that I can barely see any ocean around me.
Regardless, I think I can win this now.
Hopefully.
