The Shadow Citadel Penitentiary was feeling the shaking. The camera footage was showing the command center an alarming sight. Lady of Wrath’s flight was haphazard, erratic as she slammed from one side of her cell to the other. This was the third time amnesia randomly affected the clone’s mind. The Atlantean steel walls could withstand the damage to an incredible degree, but the shaking was being felt in the area outside the cell.
Omega Woman arrived at the lowest level first. A moment later, Mister Mystic arrived with the rest of the Supreme Allies team. Bright Shadow stepped close to the outside of the cell first. She closed her eyes and began to concentrate. It didn’t last, however; she suddenly jerked backwards seconds later, which usually only happened when she was unable to read an opponent’s mind.
“Are you okay? What happened?” Omega Woman asked.
“I can’t get an accurate read on her mind,” Bright Shadow replied.
“Psychic shielding?” Omega Woman asked. Bright Shadow shook her head.
“Not exactly. Her mind is, for lack of a better word, unstable. I can’t really explain how-it just is,” Bright Shadow said. Omega Woman stepped toward the cell door.
“I’ll try to calm her down. Be ready for anything,” Omega Woman advised.
She opened the cell door and stepped inside. Lady of Wrath was hunched over, head buried between her hands. The clone was stressed out, eyes staring toward the cell floor.
“Hey. It’s going to be okay,” Omega Woman said calmly as she reached for the clone’s shoulder with her hand.
What Omega Woman didn’t see was the evil grin that appeared on Lady of Wrath’s face. Lady of Wrath clenched her fist and struck Omega Woman with a powerful punch. The impact was hard enough to knock over the cell’s iron door. As Omega Woman flew out, Starfall got between her and the rest of the team. Omega Woman collided with her alien colleague hard enough to knock both of them down.
Lady of Wrath took advantage of the moment to fly fast out of her cell. Omega Woman and Lady of Wrath quickly got to their feet, the former holding her index finger to her earpiece.
“Director Fox, Lady of Wrath laid a trap by staging that apparent freakout you’ve been seeing until I opened the door. I’ll get her back!” Omega Woman exclaimed.
Lady of Wrath flew up and around, going up floor by floor. Multiple VALOR agents tried to take shots at her, only to be met by fatal shots of red beams of light from Lady of Wrath’s hands or eyes. She kept her flight going until she reached the surface, finding herself outside again. Spotting a cell block entrance, she could tell by the digital diagram that the cells in it were currently occupied; this was likely the section where Shadow Stranger, Power Thief, and Bulldozer were being kept.
Mister Mystic and the Supreme Allies arrived via a teleportation spell. Omega Woman followed suit, flying up from the underground section below as well. Lady of Wrath’s eyes darted between each member of the Supreme Allies as her hands glowed with red light. Omega Woman and Starfall both flew toward the clone. Lady of Wrath hovered to dodge the initial attacks from both oncoming heroines, retaliating with strong punches that sent Omega Woman and Starfall flying miles away from the Shadow Citadel.
Lady of Wrath began to fire a large concentrated beam of red light toward the rest of the Supreme Allies. Mister Mystic put up a large dome of golden light to act as a barrier against the energy beam. Seeing the beam fail to break the barrier, Lady of Wrath stopped firing. She punched the ground hard, causing a tremor. Mister Mystic hovered off the ground, but unfortunately not fast enough; the shockwave from Lady of Wrath’s attack caused the sorcerer to struggle concentrating on holding up the barrier.
Lady of Wrath flew forward at super speed, colliding with Mister Mystic hard enough to send him flying backwards. The sorcerer hit one of the prison walls and then fell to the ground. Warrior Wolf leapt forward and used her enhanced strength to grab onto Lady of Wrath’s shoulder with one hand while clinging on with her legs. Warrior Wolf used her free hand to land three consecutive punches on Lady of Wrath’s face. At the same time, Phantom Archer was firing concussive arrows from his bow.
Lady of Wrath grabbed Warrior Wolf by the neck, punching her hard enough to knock her unconscious instantly. Lady of Wrath followed by using her strength to forcefully make the latter let go of her hold and tossed Warrior Wolf away effortlessly. The clone then turned to spot Phantom Archer and fired a quick blast of light that knocked him over. Before Lady of Wrath could do anything else, she held up her arms to block oncoming roundhouse kicks from Blue Angel and Seraphim at the same time. She dodged Seraphim’s sword and an oncoming punch from Blue Angel before retaliating with a forward side kick.
Blue Angel flew forward and continued to try and land any punches or kicks he could, though Lady of Wrath was holding back his assault. Blue Angel couldn’t help but admit to himself that the clone was adapting fast. Seraphim was faring no better as Lady of Wrath held up her spiked bracelet to block his oncoming sword strikes. Lady of Wrath moved faster than either man could maneuver away with their suits and grabbed both of them by the necks before slamming them to the ground hard and knocking out Seraphim. The clone began to laugh mockingly at them.
“You two truly believe those pitiful high-tech toys make you equal to those who wield true power?” Lady of Wrath asked.

“Superpowers can move mountains, but only a cunning mind can outsmart the very ground you’re standing on,” Blue Angel retorted.
Blue Angel unsheathed the retractable blades of his gauntlets, then the blades began to emanate heat to give them a slight red glow. Blue Angel stabbed both blades into Lady of Wrath’s arm, forcing her to loosen her grip on his neck and let go of him.
“Side project I took up after Earth’s first alien invasion,” Blue Angel said as he rolled to his feet.
Blue Angel flew forward to hit Lady of Wrath with a few more consecutive slash attacks with the superheated blades. The clone’s physiology gave her Omega Woman’s healing factor to instantly repair the cuts each time. However, it helped Blue Angel to know they could affect the clone. Lady of Wrath dodged the next slash and sped behind Blue Angel. As the blue-armored hero attempted to fly away, Lady of Wrath reached forward and grabbed the edges of his metallic wings.
Lady of Wrath pulled her arms back until the wings were forcefully torn off the suit, simultaneously kicking Blue Angel backwards until he hit one of the prison walls and fell to the ground. When Lady of Wrath turned to face Bright Shadow and Riptide, the psychic heroine attempted to push the clone back with telekinesis. Lady of Wrath sped away by the time Bright Shadow lifted her hand. As she stopped moving near Riptide, Lady of Wrath picked him up and threw him into the air, sending him outside the Shadow Citadel’s walls. A moment later, Lady of Wrath turned to hear the sound of rushing water as Riptide was lifted up by a tornado-like tower of water and approaching the Shadow Citadel as it carried him.
Lady of Wrath took flight and headed toward Riptide. The Atlantean warrior tried sending high-pressure torrents of water to hit her out of the air, but her speed was making that impossible. The clone flew forward into the water tornado, bringing her hands to Riptide’s neck and causing him to lose concentration on holding the tornado together. Before Lady of Wrath could do anything else, she got blindsided by Starfall slamming into her with a fast flying punch. Lady of Wrath went flying and ended up letting go of Riptide, who called forth more water from below to hold him up.
“Get back to Bright Shadow!” Starfall ordered Riptide, receiving a nod from the Atlantean warrior.
As Riptide made his way back to the Shadow Citadel, Starfall was locked in aerial combat with Lady of Wrath. The two went back and forth with their punches and physical strikes. Starfall drew her sword and bore down with a slash, only for Lady of Wrath to dodge and throw a strong punch. The blow sent Starfall careening towards the Shadow Citadel, knocking her into one of the outer walls of the penitentiary hard enough to break through. Bright Shadow and Riptide ran over to Starfall to help her up as Lady of Wrath descended, flying through the hole in the wall and landing across from the alien warrior.
Riptide called forth a large high pressure stream of water via the open hole in the wall and aimed it at Lady of Wrath. At the same time, Bright Shadow’s body glowed with a magenta psychic aura and she channeled the energy along her spear as a beam to hit the clone. While Lady of Wrath was taking the hits from both her companions, Starfall flew forward for another attack. Lady of Wrath punched the ground once more to cause another tremor. The shockwave sent Bright Shadow and Riptide flying, knocking both of them out.
Omega Woman flew her way back to the Shadow Citadel. She found Starfall engaging Lady of Wrath in hand to hand. Dashing forward, Omega Woman began throwing her own punches, keeping the pressure up on her clone. Omega Woman and Starfall both saw an opening and used their strength to hold Lady of Wrath to the ground facedown. Lady of Wrath began slowly pushing herself up despite both Omega Woman and Starfall’s combined strength.
Lady of Wrath’s hands began to glow with red light. She aimed them forward and released beams of light to destroy some of the walls of the section where Shadow Stranger, Power Thief, and Bulldozer were being held. Taking flight to break free of Omega Woman and Starfall’s combined grip, Lady of Wrath flew into the cell block. Lady of Wrath started outside the bright cell Shadow Stranger was being held in, which contained blinding light on the inside to keep Shadow Stranger from turning into her superpowered form. Lady of Wrath used her strength to tear off the iron cell door.
“Good news, you’re getting out early,” Lady of Wrath said.
“So that was you who was causing all the commotion out there?” Sasha Ambrose asked as she stepped out of her cell before dark energy enveloped her body, changing her into Shadow Stranger once more.
“Yeah, I dealt with the majority of the Supreme Allies out there. Just Omega Woman and Starfall are still standing,” Lady of Wrath said.
“Damn! Remind me not to fuck with you,” Shadow Stranger replied.
Lady of Wrath moved down the hallway until she found a closed cell containing Power Thief. Similar to Shadow Stranger’s cell, Lady of Wrath tore off the iron door. Power Thief looked up as he saw the clone liberating him, standing up quickly and running out of the cell. The three moved down the hall until they found Bulldozer’s cell. Lady of Wrath forcefully opened her cell door to round out the lineup.
Back outside, Omega Woman moved over to Starfall as the latter was gathering their unconscious companions. Omega Woman spotted Lady of Wrath walking through the broken walls of the cell block hallway and making her way over alongside Shadow Stranger, Power Thief, and Bulldozer.
“Wake Mister Mystic up. Have him get everyone back to headquarters except for the two of us,” Omega Woman ordered Starfall, who nodded.
“Understood. Do you have a plan?” Starfall asked as Mister Mystic began to sit up, holding his head and rubbing it.
“I do,” Omega Woman replied affirmatively.
Starfall repeated Omega Woman’s previous orders to Mister Mystic who nodded. The sorcerer cast a teleportation spell, vanishing alongside the rest of the Supreme Allies aside from Omega Woman and Starfall. Lady of Wrath stepped outside with the other three supervillains.
