  Sara thought about that. [Well. Friend WAS using guild boot neutrality. WAS kind of retiring there. They were not wrong about that.]

  Leader struggled. Still hoping maybe. "Perhaps... still make... deal?"

  Dominos drank one more bottle. Eleventh. Then answered simply.

  "I don't think it's possible. This foam on you? It's The Withering."

  She gestured at the fifteen snakes around them. "But Sara shows it IS possible. Probably some smart or strong people somewhere also worked it out. Made a farming operation. Harvesting blood sustainably. Makes a fortune, I'd imagine."
