Milagros had to postpone even more things that afternoon. She thought she would be able to leave after talking with Emilio, but then the girl came with even more information to share and was happy to share it over pizza.
Luckily, Amelia had 13 points in Energy and was able to try Tuor’s trick to not consume monstrous amounts of food or there would not have been enough for her. She even controlled her Energy to have a little bit more hunger and eat more. It might have been a waste, but which child would reject more pizza?
While she ate, Amelia explained what she learned while Milagros took notes. She was able to tell everything without interruptions, except for a laugh from Emilio’s side when she told her reaction to Tuor’s prank. The poor guy couldn’t have seen that coming.
After Amelia finished explaining what happened in the Monolith, the group started to digest the news.
“Well, Emi. You are officially no longer our best talent,” Milagros pointed out.
“Luckily she is still attached to my contract, isn’t she?” Emilio asked.
“I have to thank you for bringing her into the deal before this development. It would have been much harder to recruit her now.”
“Does that mean I can get a salary that is higher than Uncle Emi?” Amelia asked.
“You can’t at your age, but I will give you all the support I can.” Milagros explained.
“Let’s leave that aside, we have a lot more to talk about. Thanks to Ami, we got real information about the Realm this time. Now, we are sure they have some kind of developments that we have no way of replicating. How did they put a training dummy in the marble?” Emilio asked.
“Not only that, we also have some information about what we are facing for real. We finally have some real numbers on the Realm,” Milagros added, “First we know that the Rank 5 exists and that there are several of them, because there can be children of Rank 5. We also know how many people of lower Rank there have to be for someone to rank up. Using these numbers we can estimate that, at the very least, there are thousands of Ranks 4, millions of Ranks 3, billions of Ranks 2 and trillions of Ranks 1. We are totally outnumbered and they are much stronger than us.”

“Also, given the comments he made about how the Bloodline works, I think it is safe to assume that the power enhancement between Ranks is proportional. If a Peak Rank 1 is about 5 times stronger than a regular person, or even more if we consider all four Stats, we could think of a Peak Rank 2 as 25 times stronger at the very least and keep going. Also, a Rank 5 should be stronger than a peak Rank 4. So we are talking of people who are at least 600 times stronger than a normal person,” Emilio deduced.
“I think you are underestimating them,” Milagros corrected, “A Rank 2 is for sure stronger than a peak Rank 1. I think we should consider the Rank 5 being a thousand times stronger at the very bottom of our projections and I don’t even know how to make a better estimation. I doubt we can even nuke someone like that.”
“Shouldn’t we also consider Bloodlines?” Amelia asked “He said that there should be a Rank 4 every few hundred billion people.”
“That’s true, we should consider that they could have 20 to 30 percent more Stats per Rank. The Rank 5 could actually be 2 or 3 times stronger than even that.”
“Can we even face these people?” Amelia asked. After getting the Bloodline she had been quite satisfied, but now that they were analyzing the situation, she was starting to get worried about their future.
“No, we can't,” Milagros stated, “so we either prevent the invasions from happening or we reach a deal with Tuor. We didn’t even consider if a Rank 6 exists.”
“I have a problem with the projections, the numbers don’t add up.” Emilio said.
“How?” Milagros asked.
“Well, Tour said that he considers Ranks 4 and Ranks 5 having 4 children each. We already can live 200 years without sicknesses, let alone higher ranks. How are they having no children? Even more, do they have condoms or something? Given my regeneration I doubt surgeries are an effective birth control anymore.”
“If he said those numbers it should be what is happening in the Realm. You might want to ask that the next time you meet. Now, I want to see how that marble works. And we should film it from several angles too.”
“Oh, sure. We should go to the Gym for that.”
They decided to call Rafael and Gabriela for them to be up to date with the new information while Milagros got her hands on some high quality cameras.
They came with their whole families and were amazed by the sheer amount of information the Castro family was able to get out of the Trial.
“Now I understand why you are the most confidential and VIP person in the company,” Gabriela said to Emilio.
“Stats like the current ones from Amelia would have justified it. But your Stats are not enough for your status. It was your ability to get information for sure,” Rafael agreed.
“I know, but after the second Trial I thought I was a real talent after all,” Emilio admitted, “The real talent here is Amelia.”
