Comparison of Jinns with paganism

Are the quranic jinn equivalent in terms of classification to the faeries of pagan tales? I'm aware they are interdimensional beings that go back and forth from the human world, would you say they are creations of God or something else entirely?

  Answer-

The Apsaras of Hinduism are in equivalent to jaal or water Jinns mostly, as jinns differ from paris that that paris have wings, while Jinns although maneuver by teleportation, also has place shift and shape shift, but doesn't have wings. The Apsaras are derived from churning by Ananta serpent as axle of Ksheer sagar, or sea of potency of Brahma or creator, akin thus to water fairy or jaal jinn. Some of the fairies, for example, some mantras given by Vishwamitra brings water fairy with wings, as some kinds of Urvashi. The other Jinns and fairies are classified in Bhoot yoni, some as Kaamakhya paris, such as Aatish pari and Kamuki pari. Priya vallava Kinnaris are treated as Elves, also it is like Fullara, of Brass Courts. Hamzad like Budhoh and Bhaiyaal jinns are actually Shiqq or animal joint type, where Bhaiyaal as Raven or Corvus is like Kronch of Dhoomavati; and Budhoh like Crane or Balaka nitya. Moinavati or Surangini Nayika or Menaka apsara is like a bird fairy ; and Taqsimoola is Humzad is derived from Tamas is like bat is like Bhamini Yakshini. Most Yakshinis or Gnomes or Israfil fire born are some form of Humzad, some of that are human like malicious and cunning Ifrit. The Shaitan paris with hoofs and claws are like Nakhakeshike like Yakshinis. The Shah paris are also of Kaamrup.
