Chapter 53: Negotiating

I noticed Aqua standing on the battlements. Ember was nowhere to be seen, maybe she was the pile on the ground sixty feet below us. It looked red.. Aside from the blood. Hero was standing tall and regal…

That’s what I would have loved to say, but Hero looked tired and annoyed. His eye twitched and he summoned his spear. My eyes wandered back to Aqua and I pushed my legs closer together.

I couldn’t help myself, Alissa had been so much fun. But Aqua and Hero? I shuddered in anticipation. “Oh yes Hero! Please rape me repeatedly!” I mimicked Aqua's voice under my breath as I imagined him holding her down and…

“Alia, I think we should try talking to them first, this feels… off.” I was pulled from my fantasy to the reality of the situation. Looking over the beastkin, I figured we could win with the force we had.

But we would definitely sustain heavy casualties. Hero was right, we would need to try and reason with them. I didn’t see it ending well, but if I could get close enough to their leader… “Agreed, I think a meeting is in order.”

Pointing my bubble rifle, I lined up and fired a sniper round. It went through Ember's skull at the bottom of the battlements and she appeared naked next to Aqua. Aqua and Ember… Ember being held down by an obedient Aqua while Hero shoved his throbbing…

“Alia!” Hero suddenly shouted and I jerked to look over to him. He looked at me strangely before pointing at the Foxkin. “Think you can get us down there?”

I looked down at the ground below the wall and shook my head. “We can just walk around? I don’t really have an ability to get us down without issue. What about that Blink ability?”

Hero sighed and nodded. “Probably for the best, my Blink has a max of 5 feet multiplied by level. I can go about 30 feet right now, and the cooldown is just over a second.”

I glanced over at Aqua and walked behind Hero over to her. Aqua smiled at me and I smiled back. “Aqua, I have a special task for you!” I said cheerily before leaning in. Aqua tilted her head in and I glanced over at Hero before speaking.

“Hero and I are going to go talk to the General, when we get down there, I need you to…” I started, but Hero cut me off.

“Alia, what are you scheming? It’s a meeting and if we can handle peace we will.” He said simply as he looked at me knowingly. I bit my lower lip and nodded.

“I was simply explaining the plan, giving her a special task that…” Hero held up a hand and I stopped.

“You were going to have her help you convince the military leader to sleep with me weren't you?” My cheeks suddenly felt hot and I shook my head viciously.

“I would never, that would be highly inappropriate!” I leaned in quickly and whispered quietly. “Have you and Ember hold her down when we start, okay?” Aqua giggled and nodded.

Hero’s eyes narrowed suspiciously, but after a moment he sighed and began walking down the stairs and towards the front gate. He passed Aqua and whispered quietly in her ear as he did so however.

Aqua’s eyes went wide and instantly dilated and she nodded vigorously at Hero. “What! What are you telling her!” I snapped.

Hero just smiled back and winked. “I am just making sure she knows what the plan is.” Then he chuckled and was down the stairs. I clenched my teeth and pointed at Aqua.

This story has been taken without authorization. Report any sightings.

“What did he tell you!” Aqua’s cheeks flushed red and she looked away. “I will push you off this wall!” I threatened. She giggled and rubbed her legs together.

I kicked her off the wall in frustration. I heard Aqua let out a “oh yes!” as she fell. Turning, I went to follow Hero, but I suddenly caught fire. I turned to fire at Ember, only to receive a punch to the face.

I jumped, but Ember had apparently been expecting that as she grabbed my ankle and pulled… me over the edge of the wall. My eyes went wide as I grabbed the ledge. Ember stepped up with a shit eating grin on her face.

Leaning in, she whispered. “Long Live First Wife.” Then stomped on my fingers causing me to fall. I tensed as the ground rushed up to meet me. The landing didn’t kill me, but I wish it had.

Worse, Aqua, who had already started healing herself, stopped to slowly heal me. My bones slowly knitted back together and I tried to kill myself.

Hero appeared and pulled my bubble rifle from me before I could kill myself. “Now Alia, no violence during a peace meeting.” He said with a wide grin before he ignored both of us and walked towards the Foxkin General.

Alia was a genius in combat, immensely skilled, and downright adorable… She also made me harder than any other woman ever. That being said, her desires were easy to read and even easier to manipulate.

All I had to do was tell Aqua that if she said nothing to Alia, she would kick her off the wall and she would have her legs snapped. Aqua, the masochist that she was, instantly loved the idea clearly.

I also knew Ember would take Alia’s sign of violence as acceptance for her to join the fight. I wasn’t sure Ember would win against Alia, but I did know Ember would go for the most violent option.

I smiled kindly as I reached the Foxkin commander. “Hello, Melissa, how is my favorite Kistune?”

Melissa, for that is who the Foxkin commander looked shocked. “How.. how do you know my name?!” There was a shimmer and her face went neutral.

“There is no need for illusions among friends Melissa, we all want what's best for each other right?” I was hedging hard and I knew it. Everything up to this point had been just off enough… If I was right…

“Since when are we friends? We have never met and I have no idea who you are! I am here to claim the Hero to save my people!” Melissa said clearly as her eyes narrowed and she made a low growl.

I held back a smile. It seems we had another awakening on our hands. Her picture in that void flashed in my mind. “I am Hero, you requested me, and I have come.” I said with as deep a voice as I could muster.

She pursed her lips and her eyes darted up and down me. “You don’t look very… heroic.” Her tail seemed to lash behind her and her ears swiveled on alert.

“Then what do you expect Hero to look like?” I asked curiously. Melissa’s illusion masked her features, but she clearly didn’t have a clean answer. After a long moment she responded.

“Very well then, I am here to negotiate with the people of the Emerald Kingdom. My people have been treated as lesser for far too long and we demand equal rights!” She made her impassioned speech behind a serious looking illusion she kept up.

“I wish only..” I held up a hand and cut her off.

“How can I be expected to negotiate with a fake image of you. Show yourself and be real or we have nothing to discuss.” My words were meant with a long moment of silence. Then her illusion dropped.. Mostly.

She grimaced. “Fine, here I am. Happy?” I nodded once and held up an empty hand.

“Yes, very happy. My name is…” I was finally getting somewhere, then…

“Now Aqua!” Alia called out. I winced and barely managed to grab Aqua by her throat before she tackled Melissa to the ground. Of course, Alia had fuckign expected that and kicked me in the back of my knee.

Alia giggled excitedly as she looked up at a bewildered Melissa. “So, I would like to make an offer of my own. In return for sleeping with my Hubby here and letting him dominate you. We will surrender and give you anything you want!”

I tried to stab Alia with my spear but she sidestepped it and snapped my wrist. Melissa looked between the three of us bewildered. “I.. what?!”

Alia kissed me on the cheek and pulled my head back like a prize pig. “He has a large toolbox, he feels amazing in bed! You will have ample access to anything you want while he acts on you!”

“Hmhmhmmh” I tried to speak with Alia’s hand over my mouth, it came out a garbled mess and my eye twitched.

Melissa, having had a moment to consider, smiled. “So, what you're saying is you will agree to any terms if I sleep with this man?” I sighed as I let go of Aqua’s throat, she was clearly getting off on me, choking her.

She seemed disappointed I stopped. Good, little damn traitor. Melissa really looked at me for a moment, then shrugged. “Not normally my type but… I suppose I can accept that offer in return for the equal rights of my people.”
