Chapter Starts
Kian Goldmaul POV
It has been a year since I was reborn in this world. My height is 83cm taller than babies my age back on Earth.
I can even run, although I’m still just a one year old. I’ve noticed that my Core is half-formed. If it continues at this rate, it might be fully formed when I turn two.
I’m currently reading kids stories that my parents gave me to pass the time. Even though they’re boring for me, at least they tell me that the culture in this world is way different from Earth.
But what I really want to know more about is Veythar.
I should ask probably my dad again for a book that explains it. I did ask him a month ago, but he told me not to worry about it yet since I’m still too young.
I close the story book and put it aside on the table, then get off the couch and move my small legs toward where I think my father is.
I reach his office, and just as I thought, he’s writing something I can’t understand while being surrounded by multiple different types of books and papers on his desk.
“Kian!” He puts down his pen and stands up from the chair and arrive in front me before I could react with a big smile. “Did you miss your daddy? Of course you did!” he says, kissing my cheek and lifting me up.
“Did you come to spend time with your old man?”
I’m used to his energy now, so I’m not longer surprised anymore. “Yes Dad, I did miss you. But I want you to give me a book about Veythar and how it works! You promised me that you would when I got older!” I say in a childlike voice.
“Like I said, you’re still too young to bother yourself with that. You should go play instead,” he says, poking my nose.
“But I want to read it! Pleeease!” I say, using my best puppy-like eyes while raising my arms above my head.
I notice him trying to resist, but he sighs in defeat. “Alright, but if you get bored of it, I will not give it to you again until your old enough. Okay?”
“Yes Dad! I’ll listen to you!”
He puts me down and walks to the bookshelves. After scanning through the titles, he pauses and pulls a book called “The Basics of Omnishape and Veythar”.
“Alright little guy, this book explains the basics of Omnishape and Veythar,” he says while handing it to me.
“If there’s anything you don’t understand, come and ask your daddy, okay?” He pats and mess my hair.
...
...
...
I’m back on the couch now, holding the book my father gave me.
It’s not that big... well, Father did say it was only the basics and it says in the title that it is the basics.
I open the first page and begin reading.
Chapter 1: What Is Omnishape?
Omnishape is the fundamental force that governs power in the world. It is not a tool, nor a craft, nor a gift. It is a natural law a shaping of existence through an energy called Veythar.
Veythar flows in all living beings and throughout the environment. Unlike passive energy, Veythar can be manipulated, transformed, and stored inside a person via a Core.
The Core allows users to take in Veythar with every breath, convert it, and use it to shape atoms or Veythar itself into desired effects. These effects fall into two main categories:
1. Magic
Magic involves reshaping the literal structure of elements into environmental or external forces.
Basic Elements:
Fire, Lightning, Earth, Water, Wind
‘Wait. You don’t cast fire. You reshape Veythar into the structure of fire,’ Kian realized. That alone changed everything. There was no spoken casting. It was about reconstruction, not conjuration.
Simple Space Manipulation:
Portals and Instant Teleportation

Spatial Expansion or Locking
These effects require a fine grasp of both Veythar control and structure control. The more advanced the understanding, the broader the application.
2. Knight Magic
Instead of shaping energy outward, Knight Magic focuses on internal enhancements. Core applications include:
Strengthening the muscles, bones, and nerves
Accelerating movement speed and reflexes
Resisting Magic-based effects through controlled Veythar counter flow
Kian furrowed his brow.
‘Knight magic? Why is it called Knight Magic instead of body enchantment?’
Knight magic is used by Knight and Mages, while pure magic casting is superior, Knight Magic is still needed for everyone whenever they’re swordsmen, martial artists or mages.
After all, If you can’t react to other party movements you would be no different from a sloth with magic
Chapter 2: Cores
The Core is an internal storage organ used to store and use Veythar but not in a biological sense. It begins forming from birth and grows naturally as the individual continues to breathe and live. It is likely to finish forming around the age of two for most people.
So it’s just like I thought, my core is still forming right now... and it’s exactly like I guessed it would be.
Cores are measured by both stage and type.
Core Stages (Energy Capacity by points):
Entrance Stage: 300-449 Points
Primary Core: 450-1199 Points
Intermediate Core: 1200-2999 Points
Advanced Core: 3000-5999 Points
Perfect Core: 6000-10000 Points
--------------------------------------------
Core Types (Purity Levels):
B/lack Core: 250 Impure / 50 Pure
Grey Core: 150 Impure / 150 Pure
White Core: 75 Impure / 225 Pure
Silver Core: 0 Impure / 300 Pure
The purer the core, the more efficient the user becomes. While increasing core capacity is important, it is generally better to finish purifying your core first. It’s common for a 12 year old to reach Silver-level perfect core.
As for what impurity is they’re mostly broken-down elements like oxygen, water particles, and so on.
Chapter 3: The Rules of Omnishape
Omnishape operates under a few universal principles:
Cores can reshape elements into anything except souls due to insufficient storage capacity that we can currently hold and incomplete understanding of soul structure.
Every being can eventually control their own soul once they used Magic long and with enough understanding and knowledge.
However, transferring a soul to another body is impossible due to natural rejection it’s believed that bodies instinctively recognize foreign souls as invasive energy or the opposite.
Large-scale abilities drain Veythar rapidly. Overusing Veythar without rest can lead to permanent damage or collapse of the core.
Creativity is the essence of mastery. Two users with the same core stage and type might perform drastically differently based on how cleverly they reshape and use their Core, and based on their physical and skill differences.
Chapter 4: Sample Reshapes
Necromancy: Reanimates corpses by reshaping organic Veythar traces in dead bodies.
‘So even the dead can be controlled if you’re creative enough. But it’s still reshaping, not summoning. Everything seems to follow science rather than supernatural rules.’
Healing: Repairs tissue by reshaping broken matter or fusing external atoms.
Illusions: Alters light and sound using air and light-based wave shaping.
Invisibility: Redirects light waves around the body.
Telekinesis: Reinforces air molecules into pressure bands to move objects.
Chapter 5: Others
Veythar can be used on thing other than strengthening the body or using magic, as it’s an energy itself on its fundamental level as it can be used for everything on our daily life, and from our research Veythar is considered the purest and highest type of energy which doesn’t cause any type pollution, environmental or self harm……
Twenty minutes later
‘My eyes are burning slightly; I should probably stop for now’
I close the book and lean back on the couch. The light hummed gently on the ceiling. I stare at windows looking outside while rubbing my eyes.
‘That was tiring for me to read with a kid body’
‘well at least I know everything starts with breathing Veythar... and ends with reshaping it. I’ve got the basics for now, I guess.’
'Now that I think deeper about it, they didn’t mention the Secondary Core that my father talked about when I was around three months old if I remember. He said it had something to do with his horns. I should probably ask him.'
I hop off the couch again and walk back to his office. As soon as I enter, he immediately notice me.
"Did you get bored of the book already, little guy?" he says with a smug smirk, like he’d just won a bet. "I told you you’d get bored of it."
"No, I didn’t get bored of the book. But I’m curious about something."
"Hm? Curious? About what?"
"After I read the book, I realized it didn’t mention anything about Secondary Cores, like your horns. So I wanted to know what they are," I say, pointing directly at his horns.
"Oh, those? Well... I can’t tell you just yet. You need to grow more first. And I don’t mean in age." He says no longer smiling and his gaze is more like measuring, more like a teacher than a father.
"Huh? Why? Come on, please?" I plead, throwing in my best puppy-dog eyes again. But this time, unlike before, he resists.
"Not yet, Kian. Some knowledge needs strength first.”
I tried convincing him for the next few minutes, trying everything from pouting to playful tantrums, but nothing worked.
‘Sigh so begging didn’t work this time’ I think helplessly.
Defeated, I sulk back to the couch and pick up the book again to finish it, dejected from my failure.
