Chapter 29

Wu Rei look at Joshua as he don't know what are the Blood Wolf Knights and Noble Knights he talk about.

"I understand your intentions, but the resources you seek are not easily obtained," Wu Rei said, his voice measured and wise.

"The shop operates under the laws of the clan, and we can't simply go on a journey in the north. You'll need to prove yourself first, show that your cause is just and your leadership is true."

He believe his junior but his clan won't even though it is known Joshua is a genius, that didn't mean his men is a genius.

Joshua nodded, the wheels turning in his head. "Very well," he said. "I will bring my 'Blood Wolf Knights' and 'Noble Knights' to you. Let them prove their worth, and perhaps then your father or elders will see the value in our partnership."

Wu Rei's eyebrows shot up in surprise.

"Now I am really curious how you are so confident on your men?"

  Joshua just smiled at him.

His men are biologically enhanced with greater strength than normal and had [Bio Chip] to command them. He believes his people trained with good resources would decimate any foe they face.

He is looking forward of their expressions when they meet him men.

  ---

  The next day.

Wu Rei approached his father, Wu Teng, and a handful of the clan's elders with a proposal that was met with skepticism and amusement.

He spoke of a young man named Joshua, once a mere villager, who now sought an alliance to acquire resources from the treacherous lands of the north.

The elders chuckled, envisioning a ragtag group of amateurs trying to conquer the harsh lands of the Jo Empire.

However, Wu Rei insisted that they at least observe what this Joshua had to offer before dismissing the idea outright.

He spoke of the respect and friendship that existed between them, hinting that there might be more to the tale than met the eye.

After a brief moment of contemplation, Wu Teng, his curiosity piqued, agreed to give Joshua an audience.

Joshua arrived with a group of his 'Noble Knights' and 'Blood Wolf Knights' in tow.

The clan's compound was a flurry of activity as whispers of the unusual visitors spread like wildfire.

The knights stood tall, their aura of power and discipline unmistakable even to the most seasoned martial artists present. The clan members couldn't help but stare in a mix of awe and apprehension.

The Blood Wolf Knights were a sight to behold, their 7.5-foot-tall frames encased in sleek, forge titanium alloy armor that shone under the setting sun. The chain mail at their joints allowed for the fluid movement necessary for their enhanced agility, while the inner leather coating, crafted from the hides of the fiercest beasts Di had to offer, provided both comfort and additional protection against the cold steel of their foes.

The Noble Knights, on the other hand, were a testament to brute strength and resilience. Their armor, a blend of steel alloys with strategic titanium reinforcements, reflected the slightly different look and impression, giving them a more imposing, almost ominous presence. The weight of their steel suits was significant, but it was a burden they bore with ease, their muscles rippling beneath the metal as they moved as the Noble Knights are inherently stronger than Blood Wolf Knights.

Each knight wielded a weapon forged from the same materials, the swords and maces looking more like extensions of their arms than mere tools of war.

Joshua's blacksmithing skills had reached new heights since acquiring Nexus and modifying his body, allowing him to craft weapons that sang with power and precision.

Joshua look at work he made with pride as clench his fist as he remember months before.

In the dimly lit forge, the clones worked tirelessly alongside him, their movements synchronized like a well-oiled machine.

The sound of hammer against anvil resonated through the space, echoing the rhythm of their hearts. Each swing was calculated, each spark a dance of fire that brought the metal to life.

Joshua's hands, now stronger and more precise than any blacksmith in the land, worked in harmony with the clones.

Nexus's optimization had not only enhanced their physical capabilities but had also fine-tuned their craftsmanship, allowing them to produce weapons and armor that surpassed the works of any known Grandmaster Blacksmith.

25 Blood Wolf Knights some from the villagers and some from the veteran soldiers and 5 Noble Knights to lead them.

The veterans are elites of the Blood Knights but they are missing limbs or traumatize. He made Qi prosthetics using modern knowledge, titanium alloy and leather, after that he made them use [Blood and Spirit Attachment] with the help of [Bio Chip] making it look a real arm and not a prosthetics. Even though they are weaken they are still professional veterans and could go toe to toe with a normal villager Blood Knight.

The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Joshua looked around, the expressions on the clan members' faces a mix of awe and fear. He knew he had their attention, and he wasn't about to let it go to waste. He turned to Wu Rei's father, the clan leader Wu Teng, and spoke with the confidence of a man who had will win everytime.

"Now that you've seen what my knights, are you ready to consider our partnership?"

Joshua's question hung in the air, cutting through the buzz of amazement like a blade. The clan members exchanged glances, the whispers of doubt giving way to murmurs of consideration.

The clan's whispers grew into a murmur of skepticism, and one of the elders, an aged man with a stern gaze, stepped forward.

"Your knights may look powerful, but we must be certain of their might," he said, his voice firm and unwavering.

"We cannot risk our resources on mere appearances."

The elder's words were like a splash of cold water, sobering the room. He was right; appearances could be deceiving.

But Joshua knew his knights were no illusion.

"Very well," he said, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips.

"Let's put them to the test."

He turned to the 'Blood Wolf Knights' and 'Noble Knights', their eyes burning with anticipation.

"Choose your warriors," he announced, his voice echoing through the hall.

The clan members murmured among themselves, selecting their finest fighters to face the 'Blood Wolf Knights' and 'Noble Knights'.

The chosen warriors were brought before the assembly, each one a picture of determination and pride. They were armed with weapons that had been passed down through generations, each one steeped in the history and valor of the Wu Clan.

The first match began with a Blood Wolf Knight facing a warrior from the Wu Clan, both at he Refined Qi level. The tension was palpable as the two contenders took their positions.

With a roar that seemed to shake the very foundations of the hall, the Blood Wolf Knight lunged forward, its movements a blur of speed and power.

The warrior from the Wu Clan met the Knight's charge with a fiery determination, his eyes narrowed how the Blood Wolf Knight was easily move with the heavy weight but his weapon already drawn to counter.

The clang of steel echoed through the air as the two collided, sparks flying as their blades met. Despite the warrior's valiant efforts, the Knight pushed him back with surprising ease.

The warrior stumbled, his face a mask of shock as the Knight's superior strength and speed became apparent.

He stand back up to clash again but met with the same outcome, the fight look like an adult fighting a kid.

The crowd watched with bated breath as the 'Blood Wolf Knight' moved with a grace that belied his massive form. Each move was calculated, a dance of death that seemed almost unreal.

The second match began with a clang of steel as the 'Noble Knight' faced a more seasoned opponent, but it quickly devolved into a display of brute force.

The 'Noble Knight' swung his weapon with such ferocity that it left a trail of air shimmering in its wake. His blade connected with the ground, and a shallow crack form and echoed through the arena.

The earth trembled slightly, sending a ripple of awe through the onlookers.

The clan's warrior looked at him with a mix of fear and admiration, knowing he was outmatched.

In the third and fourth matches, the 'Blood Wolf Knights' took on two more challengers. They moved with a fluidity that seemed almost unnatural for their size, their secondary hearts beating in tandem with their primary ones, fueling their boundless stamina.

The clan's fighters were swift and skilled, but they were no match for the enhanced reflexes and heightened senses of the 'Blood Wolf Knights'.

All the battles were over almost as soon as they had begun, the 'Blood Knights' emerging unscathed.

Each victory was met with a mix of amazement and trepidation from the clan.

The 'Blood Wolf Knights' and especiespeciall the 'Noble Knights' had proven their worth not only in the arena but in the eyes of the clan elders.

Wu Teng and the other elders shared knowing glances.

They knew that an alliance with someone who could command such powerful warriors would be a boon for their clan. Their gazes spoke volumes, a silent acknowledgment of the strength before them.

Wu Teng finally broke the silence, his voice echoing through the now-still arena.

"We accept your proposal, young Joshua," he announced, his eyes gleaming with a newfound respect.

  "Your knights are indeed... remarkable."

Wu Teng's words hung in the air, carrying the weight of his clan's future with them. The elders around him nodded in agreement, their gazes still fixated on the 'Blood Knights' as they stood tall and proud, their new hearts beating in rhythm with the promise of a powerful alliance.

That evening, the clan threw a grand feast in the 'Wu Flying Sparrow Shop' courtyard, inviting Joshua and his knights to join in the celebration.

The aroma of roasted meats and exotic spices filled the air, mingling with the sound of laughter and clinking glasses.

The once skeptical faces of the clan members were now alight with excitement and hope.

Joshua sat at the head of the table, surrounded by the elders, while his knights remained standing behind him.

The clan had set aside a separate area for the 'Blood Wolf Knights', who were treated with a mix of awe and caution.

The 'Noble Knights' had been dispersed among the clan members, blending in almost seamlessly with their human forms and friendly demeanor.

The feast was a lavish affair, with dishes that were a testament to the clan's wealth and influence.

The 'Noble Knights' picked at their food with a refined grace that belied their monstrous strength, while the 'Blood Wolf Knights' enjoyed themselves freely, sharing stories and laughter with their hosts.

The atmosphere was one of cautious camaraderie, each side eager to understand the other.

As the night grew late, the conversations grew more serious.

The clan elders, including the sharp-eyed Wu Teng, gathered around Joshua, their curiosity piqued by the mysterious resources he required. They discussed the specifics of the partnership in hushed tones, their eyes gleaming with the prospect of wealth and power.

Joshua laid out his terms clearly: the 'Blood Wolf Knights' and 'Noble Knights' would serve as elite bodyguards for the clan's caravans and protect their interests in the Jo Empire.

In return, the Wu Flying Sparrow Shop would use their connections and reputation to acquire the rare materials he listed.

Not only that, he would bring weapons and armors at Grandmaster level works for the Wu Flying Sparrow Shop to sell as his agents.

Which both made Wu Teng and the elders ecstatic but as they look at the list.

The elders of the clan were taken aback by the sheer scale of resources he required.

They were used to dealing with small-time transactions, not the kind of operation that could shift the balance of power in the region.

However, they could see the value in having such powerful protectors.

They celebrated all day until they parted ways to get ready to go a long journey in the north.

The next day, as the sun began to rise, the clan members gathered around the caravans, their eyes on the 'Blood Wolf Knights' and 'Noble Knights'. The excitement and anticipation were palpable in the air as they see them off.

Joshua knew that he could have their own merchant group, but the lack of a suitable businessman was a significant hurdle. Training someone from the village would be time-consuming even with [Bio Chip], and by the time they were ready, he would have the military might to simply conquer a territory and establish his own empire.

As the caravans rolled out of the clan territory, the Wu clan gathered to bid farewell to their new allies. The clanging of metal and the thunderous hooves of the horses filled the air as the 'Blood Wolf Knights' and 'Noble Knights' took their positions at the forefront.
