Jordyn, the now acolyte under Lucius, was put under extensive education and combative training with his newfound abilities, which were given to him by a mutation of his DNA. His mental ability and physical prowess were beyond that of any average human male through these mutations put on him in early childhood and throughout adolescence. He was made acutely evident by young adulthood at age 27. The further telling of these events will be the foundations of not only Jordyn's life hereafter but the turning tides of factions within the realm of greater Britannia and its more significant impact upon Hareth's history on a grand and global scale. The following telling of these events was the coming dawn of a new age. The catalysts to end the wretched feudalism that corrupted the various dominions across the Kingdom Age. A calling to unite a new world under one principality and one sovereignty. Both shall give birth to the future, the Imperial Age, across humankind and the world. Creating the foundations of what would later be dubbed the Global Serpent Imperialist Republics (GSIR). The weight of Jordyn's destiny is not to be underestimated, as it will shape the world's future.
How this came to be began in the year 3809 of the 39th Greater Mankind Century (GMC). This prequel story takes place amid the latter days of the Kingdom Age in Hareth's history. In the far northeast, within the Sylvyn province's remote mountainous ranges, a 9-year-old boy named Jordyn was isolated from his family and home village of Sylvékya. However, this young boy would soon be made into the man to be the catalyst for the Kingdom Age's latter days, bringing rise to a new age to follow in his wake, The Imperial Age. The following story of his life within this very era would be the foundation of what would eventually be the epic chronicle of his legacy and the future destiny of those following in his footsteps. It is the story of a boy named Jordyn, who later in life is given the name Zeletzyn by his Grandmaster, Lucius. Then in GMC. 3818, after nine years preceding him at 18, Jordyn has fully developed from a child of promising potential to a full-fledged adolescent prodigy of the Sons of Sakla Coven under the Grandmaster, Lucius. The physical, mental, and psychological training of the Ivarians mercenaries within Skelig?r's delegation. However, he does not wish to meet the boy face-to-face. Skelig?r watches over Jordyn's abilities closely by order of Lucius but with a gnawing curiosity about what the boy would be worth. He will be made into the first of many soldiers under the banner of the coming age. All in due time, for he still has much to learn. During this time, he learned to keep his identity hidden through his experience of battling in fringe fights as a nameless rogue. In the remote areas of the northern Alps and eastern coastline in the Sylvyn province and its neighboring states. He, along with Skelig?r and the same Ivarians from long before. They would continue raiding and capturing additional villages to grow in their territory when the years passed into GMC 3821. The offensive forces and the reach of Lucius's anti-feudalist philosophy grew to the point where they were no longer just a cult of rogue underground zealots but a militia with a mission in the course of action with a considerable following. So, like all the other militia groups, they adopted their new disposition as the Serpent Confederacy in the years following. Still, they're too small to take on the might of the Britannian Royal Forces under King Charles Von Bosch IV. But to Grandmaster Lucius, his conviction is that in due time, the fate of the king and his nation will come upon them with a new force to be reckoned with and a new Sovereignty to be realized, so long as Jordyn is used as his secret weapon.
The year is now GMC 3827, which was when he was 27 and in his early adulthood. Jordyn began to learn tactical offensive planning, leadership under pressure, commanding his subjects, and maintaining morale amidst adversity. After this, through understanding these leadership values and further training exercises, war games were conducted as trials of his worthiness for what he had grown to know. He progressed through his education and combative training with prestige. As Jordyn became familiar with the tactical teachings of his militia master, Daniel H. Johanzen, a loyal mole of the underground Serpent Confederacy within the ranks of the Britannian Royal Force Officers, he exceeded the expectations of the militia master. They went forward to conduct and oversee his final test. His final trial of worthiness was to show his skills as a competent leader. He assumes the roles of head commander and chief of a mock invasion force. While the assigned competition he was to face soon. They would act as a mock royal defense force commander as the shadow of his military mentor, Daniel. In particular, this war game will be a test of both their wit and sportsmanship. But who is said to be this apprentice of Daniel's and the soon-to-be rival to Jordyn's resolve?
Approached by his Grandmaster Lucius with a proposal. To participate in a war game competition to put himself and another promising soldier on trial for leadership and for Jordyn to fully earn the name promised to him as a Führer, Zeletzyn. Jordyn accepted this proposal with honor and pride. He accepted it wholeheartedly with the vow not to fail him and the upbringing he was given in his training, education, and experience serving under the banner and mission of their Serpent Confederacy.Jordyn then met Daniel H. Johanzen (age 48), a Sgt. Major Officer and the young men under his shadowing apprenticeship. Jordyn nods his head and shakes the hands of one Sgt. Officer Marcus D. Campaign (age 24) and his brother, who volunteered to fight alongside him, Cavalry Pvt.-SC. James B. Campaign (age 22) vowed a battle with vigor and glory in the better chief. Jordyn, Marcus, and James separate and prepare to begin their trial. While Lucius and Daniel went forward with witnessing this war game unfold upon them both, they discussed how far their respective prodigies have come in their experience and about their plans to overrule the Britannian King and his feudalist political party, King Charles Von Bosch IV, and his prince, his political governor, Charles Von Bosch V. The question of this trial between them being, would these three young men be enough to facilitate a coup d'état to exalt the new age to come?
The training forces of the promising men prepare themselves and gather at their battle lines, waiting for Daniel's starting flare to burn up in the dusk. Let the war game begin!
[A Calm Before The Storm]
The men gathered amongst themselves before the match, deciding the matter of their engagement. Jordyn decided that his forces would be placed in the valley while suggesting that Marcus and James take the mount. Initially stumped by Jordyn's choice to take the disadvantageous placement of a low-ground offensive, the brothers eventually accepted the high-ground defensive advantage. The tension and uncertainty of the impending battle hung in the air, adding to the suspense. After making the decision, Skelig?r called attention: "Before you start, I'll announce the matters of your final simulation! Whoever either burns the defensive team's banner or captures the offensive team's chief first shall take hold of their glory! You must last from 20:00 hours tonight until 18:00 hours tomorrow evening. Plan out your strategy and commence by dawn. All warriors needing medical attention shall receive it after the victor is chosen. Until then, use your means of survival to keep yourselves alive. Use any means necessary to claim the victory, and may the destined chief win! Now remember, Lucius, Daniel, and I will be watching. Dismissed!"That said, Jordyn and Marcus shared one last wrist shake before their forces marched toward their opposing encampments for the night. With the weight of anticipation upon Jordyn and the Campaign brothers, Marcus and James, both sides had conviction and vigor, knowing that this would show themselves to be the future pinnacle of military action and leadership for the age to come. As Skelig?r's flare pierced the night, both sides severed their social ties and focused on the impending battle. The air was thick with anticipation and uncertainty, each side preparing for the dawn when Skelig?r's war horn would signal the start of their engagement. The suspense and tension were palpable, adding to the anticipation of the battle. The outcome of this strategic engagement was uncertain, hanging in the balance like a sword over the heads of these men of destiny. The suspense and tension of the impending battle added to the uncertainty, making the outcome even more unpredictable.
2Jordyn then ordered his offensive forces to send scouts to find strategic avenues of engagement, commencing their reconnaissance for mountain routes toward the fort. Meanwhile, Marcus and James's forces fortified their frontline and entrenched their encampment. Their defensive fort boasts its team Eagle flag under the glow of Hareth's two moons, Apollos and Lunaria. They dubbed their fort "The Nest."After that, at 00:00 hours, Jordyn's scouts returned with certainty that there was a way to claim glory. The forces form the plan and prepare themselves before they sleep for the night. A few hours before dawn, at 05:00hrs, the offensive forces wake up, suit themselves, and carry out the plan. Half of their force split off to their battle positions in advance. Further splitting into three divisions, two march towards the mountain tree line's southern and northern faces. At the same time, the third goes around the mountain and up to a discovered hidden cavern leading to a cliff face that will serve as the primary advantage to their offensive force. The other half of the offensive force acts as the bulk of the frontline crawls up the westward side of the mount. The troops staying at the camp then continue to sleep until the break of dawn. Keeping appearances to the defensive watchmen.
While Jordyn is on his knees, facing the campfire under the stars, he meditates, honing his senses and listening to the crackling bark in the fire. Centering himself amidst the flowing grass across the valley meadow. He sees visions of scenarios to come, many of defeat, except for one that follows in victory, but one that bears an overbearing loss for himself that's unknown. Accepting these vague visions showed him a promised victory at a significant cost. He rests in a slumber while meditating near the embers of the fire. As the night crept towards dawn, the tension and anticipation grew palpable. The outcome of these visions and the impending battle remained uncertain, adding to the suspense.
Following this is a log recounting events from within the fray.
[A March To Manifest Destiny]
[Log 1] The Rising Dawn(07:00hrs to 12:00hrs)
As the first light of the day breaks through the night sky at 07:00hrs, Jordyn's anticipation for the trial ahead is palpable. The fire he meditates alongside, now near slumber, starkly contrasts his inner fire. He wakes, ready for destiny to bestow his fate upon him, and then rouses his men, the anticipation of their trial hanging in the air like a heavy fog. At 08:00 hrs, his men gather for the last moments of their peaceful morning with bread and coffee. Afterward, they all gather their gear, prepare to take on the defensive force, and regroup with the first half of their troops. On the other hand, at 09:00hrs, the defensive forces wake from their slumber and gather themselves for battle under the orders of their commanding officers.
At 10:00hrs, Jordyn's primary force takes arms, breaks down camp, and marches, with cavaliers on horseback, for the next few miles from the western face.
Meanwhile, the Campaign brothers, Marcus and James, wake from their slumber to gather among their men and prep themselves for battle. Marcus, known for his strategic planning, and James, a skilled tactician, play crucial roles in the upcoming fight.
12:00hrs: After the bulk of the offensive force arrived, Skelig?r's war horn was raised and blown, bellowing across the land, formally starting this trial of worthiness for Jordyn, Marcus, and James. This trial, overseen by Lucius, Skelig?r, and Daniel, is a test of their leadership, strategy, and the readiness of their forces.
13:00hrs: The hour commencing their trial began. Team Cobra's shields from the frontline offensive clank together in unison. As musket shots zip past, they knick at their shields as others pass overhead, striking at the cavaliers, shedding the first blood. While keeping at the rear, Jordyn commanded the dispersal of his cavalry to get his rear canons forward. With his quick signal, they fire upon 'The Nest,' filled with enemy musketeers. Team Cobra trudges forth in linked formation as they make first contact at their first trench, where Jordyn's arduous march begins. The trial progresses with each tactical move and countermove, each decision and its consequences, shaping the battle's outcome.
[Log 2] The Upward March (14:00hrs to 17:00hrs)
14:00hrs: "The first trench would be of no concern to us," the officers stated. As Team Cobra made short work of Point Delta, they used it as their primary staging ground to secure a frontal foothold for the offensive. They quickly patched up their wounded and surrendered combatants, making it, in turn, their encampment for the night to follow.15:00 hrs: The men assess the situation as the sun wanes towards dusk. The officers converse with Jordyn, focusing on the third trench. Charlie convinces the enemy to cease fire, taking advantage of the team eagles' captured men.
At 16:00 hrs, Team Cobra, having used the ceasefire to their advantage, begins planning their charge towards Charlie's trench. As dusk begins, they strategize to secure the most vital points to capture: Beta and Alpha. Displaying his tactical prowess, Jordyn risks commanding a third of the frontline forces to go forward and be the only ones taking point Charlie in the dead of night, a move that could either be their masterstroke or their downfall.
As the clock strikes 17:00 hrs, the sky turns a majestic hot orange with a midnight blue across the heavens. The atmosphere shifts to a frosty gray as the few minutemen are covered in Team Eagle's clothes. They grabbed their weapons and snuck into the trench, surprising the enemies with a sudden attack that successfully diminished the posted combatants by half, a move that could turn the tide of the battle. The action continues...
[Log 3] Make haste up the mount (18:00hrs to 21:00hrs)
18:00hrs: After hearing the chaos at the trench pass into silence, Team Cobra's remaining cavaliers rushed forward and overwhelmed Point Charlie's men. Although the loss was significant, they could push forward to gain a foothold at rally point Charlie, the second trench up the mount.
19:00hrs: Seeing the frontline cavaliers and minutemen gravely injured while taking the trench. The remaining frontline forces moved their remaining infantry to Point Charlie while securing the mobile canons at Point Delta. Jordyn and his officers began to assess the situation again, deciding that if they stayed put at Charlie, they could receive reinforcements from the ambush teams in the coming hours. They figure that if they rest now and wait, they can blitz Beta and Alpha at the next twilight before dawn. Until now, they have depended on ambush teams in the North and South.
20:00hrs: The northern and southern ambush teams begin to spot the enemy combatants attempting to move through the tree line to make a downward flank on the newly captured Charlie trench. As they see this, the ambush teams at their designated rally points start pulling half-cut trees with their ropes, snapping and tumbling down upon the enemy cavalry and infantry platoons. They take point and assault the remainder of the team Eagle's reinforcements.
21:00hrs. With the dwindling numbers of the primary forces' soldiers, it became evident to Jordyn as he saw his ambush forces to the North and south have lit their signal fires. Instead of waiting for uncertain reinforcements and being counterattacked, he stomped on and attempted a rendezvous. With a newly revamped hope of victory, his fiery eyes flared as he rallied his troops to take advantage of the darkness, the dank myst blanketing the wilderness of the mount, further splitting their forces once again, regrouping with the majority of their ambush forces over towards their rally points in the North and South.
[Log 4] Progress with a Great Loss(22:00hrs-01:00hrs)22:00hrs: Jordyn reconvened on the northern flank while his officers regrouped on the southern flank. After that, Morse code lamps were used to adapt their plan to current circumstances and blitz the fort. At the same time, Alpha and Beta's forces pushed toward them down the mountain, leading them to believe Cobra's forces had retreated to Point Delta to recoup their losses. North and south signal to move up through the tree line towards "The Nest."23:00 hrs: While Jordyn and the northern tree-line forces slowly but smoothly progress up the mount, the southern troops run into trouble as they encounter multiple steep and sudden inclines that are impossible to move through on foot and without sufficient gear. As the North is delayed by the Southern offensive's struggling ability to keep pace, the air becomes wet, turning the soil to mud. They continue to face hardship when the southern tree line paths get mudslides. Alerting Beta's assault, igniting their torches, and launching motor flares over their southern forces. Forcing an already disheartened Jordyn to leave his southern troops behind to take on the nest alone to avoid an even more significant loss if involved.00:00hrs: The northern division then sees the edge of the fort, waiting for the harsh storm to clear; they make a makeshift shelter for themselves to bunker down as the night sluggishly passes on. As they begin to hear the distant cries and wails of men veiled by the booming thunder and piercing lightning, it cripples and haunts Jordyn's psyche to the point of preventing him from focusing on his rest before taking the fort by morning.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
01:00hrs: Amidst the distant battle cries coming from point Beta, echoing wails of helpless men and the grinding of their swords, crackling black powder of revolvers. Roared phantom banshees of war as a foreboding mare of Jordyn's fate loomed through the turbulent brooding of the violent night. Scarring his conscience with the loss of his men done unto them by his resolve.
[The Judge of Wrath Unearthed]
The Prophetic Beasts (Day 2, 02:00hrs to 04:00hrs)
Jordyn continues to try sleeping, to no avail. His inner subconscious began to conjure his final vision during the churning chaos around him. A vision of an overly large and blackened three-headed wolf: one head had deep gashes across its snout with blood-crimson eyes of wrathful rage; the others, the head to its right, had rich violet tongues of fire blazing within its sockets; and the third, to its left, was fully blind with visible white and foggy cataracts. The three-headed wolf then struck at the sound of thunder. Pouncing upon his body, all three heads knawing and ripping away at the flesh and bone of his left arm and shoulder while a three-horned viper with scales of gold and platinum ensnares his head, crushing his neck and paralyzing him while ferociously biting away at his left eye. He feels every ounce of pressure as the grip of venom strangles and chokes his veins, and he feels the rapid rot of the left side of his face. Meanwhile, externally, writhing in the mud, screaming, while troubled with trying to keep his conviction that it's not real. As he has every burning nerve and painful feeling, tell him otherwise. Moreover, his soldiers watch in gobsmacked disbelief. They're stunned by the sudden change in his demeanor. Unable to quell his anguish. Unable to quell these demons of his innermost mind. However, not long after Jordyn's psychotic break, his psyche invoking these very sensations of agony began to peak when it conjured forth an unknown entity before him, shrouded in a thick mass of shadows; it is unseen to the common man but evident as it canters on horseback, presenting themselves to him personally. But why? Was all of this the entities doing? Were these just harsh, prophetic beasts of his mind?
Behold, the Judge of War, Wrath, and Dominion (Day 2, 5:00hrs to 6:00hrs)
The thunderstorm begins to calm as wailing cries from Beta cease. All is quiet when the visage of a foreboding figure, forthcoming with a shroud of chaos, trots upon the soil with their phantom war horse. As he beckoned, the three-headed wolf dissipated into a mass of smoke. "Who are you?!" Jordyn exclaims with the gnashing of his teeth in the tears of his agony while on his hands and knees. The figure introduces themself. "Principality of War, Wrath and Dominion. A Judge of Man born from Scig'nuelle. Ic art, Kyeshmahkt."
The figure spoke with a hoarse but authoritative tone. "What do you want? Why're my men ignoring you?!" "Thou behest me as thee seetheth me; Ic showed thee to thoust begotten witness only." They affirm. "Bear mine essence onto thy vessel, for glory Ic deliver onto thy rite of rule. Thy men beseech glory. By mine own mace, Ic shalt bestow thee onto knowing valiance." "Please, I don't wish to hear the wails of my men in vain." pleading with woeful tears, "But if you'll surely deliver me unto my destiny, I will accept to bear your essence as the victor, but won't I still lose my arm and face?!" "Though thy vessel is maimed, mine essence should be thy arm and likeness as thy begotten fist of dominion."
With that said, Jordyn nodded and said, "I yield; show my men valience." The Judge of War, Wrath, and Dominion, Kyeshmahkt, entered him. The ground quakes upon where Jordyn laid his knees. The immense weight of Kyeshmahkt's essence entered him as he procured this judge as his inward persona of power. A perverse morphing of his left eye came and turned a crimson red, with the veins of his left arm blackened throughout. Eventually, he came to sense once receiving his mark. His men hurried to him, asking what had happened. Unable to answer in his rush of emotions and adrenaline, he trembled in his hands and knees, bearing this inconceivable weight of surging supernatural power. He's unable to answer. They recalled seeing him look entranced by an unseen force until the ground shook where he was. Jordyn validated their belief in what they beheld, though it troubled him, fearing the destined loss he envisioned that was yet to come in one way or another.
When faced with significant loss and backed into a corner, raw emotions of desperation, fear, and condemnation arise. As they churn within the heart, circumstances of fate brew themselves into the being with such feelings of chaos. Their minds, convicted of their isolation, will inevitably sacrifice their self-agency to the bonds of their darkness if they're convinced it's enough to preserve the lives of those who look to them for stoic leadership in the face of significant loss and fear. His agony of loss and despair was the door to how the ethereal Judge, Kyeshmahkt, for the entity, could enter Jordyn through harsh visions. Dying to the long since forgotten young wolf hunter boy from Sylvékya, and son of the late Josephus he once was. Becoming born again from this avenue of great prowess and ability. Jordyn then rose from the weight upon his hands and knees, crackling and quaking the ground beneath him, shuddering stones out of the firm ground, trembling the surrounding trees, and whirling the wind around him, for it was by the weight of this supernatural force entering him that he henceforth embodied whom he was to become. His left eye morphed into a blood crimson red. This eye of his was the first of his sacrifices, for the next would soon come in near hours as Jordyn's remaining Cobra team forces began to close in on the perimeter of the Campaign brother's Eagle team stronghold.
[Log 5] Awakened with a Hardened Resolve (Day 2, 07:00hrs to 10:00hrs)
07-08:00hrs: The remaining offensive by Jordyn's side to the north begins to pass through the tree line. Even after the troubled night and consistent losses, in spite, Jordyn sees the plan through to trudge up this mount that unravels what he's fighting for from within. Though Beta's forces were only half dismantled, Alpha and the remaining Beta teams spent the remaining morning hours taking the advance down the mountain face to take back Charlie and Delta, only to be met with nothing. However, the real fight will begin at the stronghold, The Nest. While a now sunken-eyed but battle-hardened, ragged, and bloodied Jordyn stood and fought by the newly adopted supernatural willpower, this persona possessing his being has bestowed upon him this, Kyeshmahkt. They will soon have to face the Eagle team leader, who is prepared and rested in waiting, Marcus and James, the Campaign brothers.09:00hrs: Once they get to the fort, a runner is then sent around to the previously discovered hidden cavern leading within the mount and up to a cliff overlooking the fort from above, where Jordyn's bulk of minutemen have laid waiting for their chance to be ready for an overhead ambush of the fort amidst the pandemonium yet to come. Through the next hour of hiking through the tree line, they anticipate their received signal as they begin to close in on the stronghold parameter.10:00hrs, two hours later, the night's thunderstorm made the morning air brisk, with a frosted chill clinging to the sour atmosphere once the harsh winds and rain diminished. The only slivers of blanketed sunlight are beams of god rays piercing through the darkened clouds; the call is made to face the adversity before their eyes, and when Jordyn sees the signal being given. He begins the raid on The Nest. The remaining offensive forces of Team Cobra joined in his stride, charging headstrong towards the northside perimeter of the fort, taking on the adversaries by surprise at the sound of their cries of war.
[Log 6] The Fateful Face-Off at "The Nest" (Day 2, 11:00hrs to 13:00hrs)
11:00hrs: by bellowing cries for the vengeance of their fallen brothers-in-arms from Point Beta. They echo through the edges of the tree line toward the stronghold. However, the Eagle Team's guards were overwhelmed by the sudden show of force from Team Cobra. This first clash at the fort then sounds off. Easily breaking through the unprepared guards, Jordyn pushes his force through the nest's barricaded perimeter.12:00hrs: The alarm bells bang, clang, and ring as shouts are heard from the parameter guards. The fort's master, team eagle's leader, Marcus, suddenly wakes and quickly armors himself, putting on his jerkin and trousers, shoulder plates, and waist guard. Prepared for the first clash of this very war game's leaders. Being the clash with Team Eagle's leader, Marcus, he takes up his longsword while placing his hand axe on his belt, readying himself for the carnage awaiting him. He rushed out of his quarters in anticipation.13:00hrs: The howling winds begin to churn, and the rain starts to return and settle in the dense air, being frosted into slim pellets of hail (a sign of Kyeshmahkt's presence and influence on the battlefield), when clashes collide in the fort. This first surprise up the Cobra team's sleeve made a disaster for Eagle's core defense. With their combatants overwhelmed in the chaos, Marcus then regroups with his officers and attempts to get a hold of the situation, only to be interrupted by Jordyn's shout. The hands of their fate set forth their inevitable clash fueled by a sports-like rivalry. Marcus hurriedly commanded his officers to make a perimeter guard of their flag. After which, he begins to gaze upon Jordyn's bloodshot eyes. While Jordyn's men continue to disperse, the Eagle team fighters try to bring back the cavalier division of Marcus's brother, James. They had left without knowing that such a cunning attack was imminent. Jordyn makes his approach with his double-edged sword in hand.
[7th&Final Battle Log] The Wolf of Cobras & The Lion of EaglesJordyn Vs. Marcus (Day 2, 14:00hrs)
14:00hrs: *panting* "I finally made it, Sir Marcus!" Jordyn continues in his fighting, boasting in his heavy breathing. "I admit, your defensives surely set me back. One hell of a tribulation you've made. From what I've witnessed, you've surely proven to be a prodigy of armies. But as I have you to myself, Marcus, I'll bear my hardened hands and sharpened eyes, hungering for a valiant fight with you personally. I am showing you that I, too, am a prodigy of armies! One deserving to be the people's championing Führer!" Marcus sees the chaos around him and, wincing his eyes, fueled with a focused fury, with clenched teeth. Marcus bears his sword, opens his eyes wide with a furious glare, and shouts, "Then stop talking! Show me then that you're destined to grasp the glory of being the people's Führer, best me, and prove you have what it takes, damnit!" Marcus and Jordyn both took their charged stances. Invoking the entity within Jordyn, being provoked by Marcus, Kyeshmahkt conjures a spectral ring of a whirling dank myst like an improvised arena around them. Unable to be passed by ordinary foot soldiers. This was their fight, lest either man yield within his heart to the other.
Springing in their stride, their first clash strikes, scraping and sparking each other's blades, sidestepping one another like a dance, grasping, kicking, and slashing each other. The two of them finally focused in tunnel vision while Jordyn was whirling his stances with overwhelming strikes, with a precision that would sever the very icicles from the raining water upon them by the edge as they clashed steel upon steel. Marcus gave a long-awaited and powerful counter on his firm footing, twisting Jordyn's grip on his blade to anchor his arm into a bend. However, Jordyn counters his commanding grab by gripping Marcus's wrists. Repeatedly binding his and their arms and kicking his stomach, sidestepping his legs, trying to misstep Marcus to tumble him into the mud. After repeated attempts without relenting, Jordyn catches his leg by his ankle upon his shin, tumbling them both to the ground; they roll, and with his legs and shifting weight, he makes a rolling throw, flipping Marcus into the air and slamming mud. Jordyn, back on his feet, kicks away his sword. Jordyn pins Marcus down, wailing, slugging punches, bashing his face further into the hail-frosted mud. Until, from behind, Marcus' brother's cavaliers stationed at point Alpha catch up in their last attempt at bringing order to the chaos wrought throughout the nest. Marked By the Blood of Fate...Through James' orders, his cavalier unit finally arrived. Marcus became uncertain of winning the fight as he continued to receive the bloodied bashing of his face from Jordyn's hammering fists. With Marcus's doubt, the ethereal mist began to wither away. This gives James a chance to see his brother being beaten. He quickly gallops his steed forthwith, and with his lance spearhead, he makes a tremendous impaling thrust through Jordyn's left shoulder mid-strike; twisting his stance, James, without hesitation, pulls out his black powdered pistol, shoots at the left jawbone and cheek of Jordyn's face. At this moment, Marcus saw his opportunity, pulled out his hand-axe, and with one last swing, severed Jordyn's left arm where his pierced hole was and kicked Jordyn onto his back. After a reversal of their position, Marcus beats and continues to hack at Jordyn's arm. Only able to see out of his bloodied eyes, Jordyn shouts a signal. In response, Jordyn's musketeers and remaining minute men appear to shoot a rain of brass, startling the cavalier horses and downing James' horse, fracturing James' right leg under his horse's dead weight. The moment came when Marcus looked at what had happened to his brother.
Then, in one final blow, Jordyn grabbed his severed arm, swung, and, like Kyeshmahkt's spectral mace, bashed Marcus off of him by the head in a total knockout. Marcus falls aside. Jordyn, fueled by adrenaline, is unable to feel what has happened. He stumbles but stands nonetheless like a bloodied and muddied drunkard of battle. He beckons."Sir Marcus!" He pants with hacking coughs. "Do you yield to me!?" Marcus comes to with only enough strength to roll onto his back, barely able to move, but he tries to answer. "I-I... I yie-" James suddenly shouts, "What're you doing, brother!?!" He raises his revolver to Jordyn's back, but Marcus interrupts him before he can fire.
"No, James! Cease your fire! That is an order! He won! Relent! He still fought on and swiftly counterattacked us without an arm and with such a minute force; be honorable and know when you've been beaten, for fuck's sake!!!" With that being said, James B. Campaign, with his trembling arm, knowing the implications of what his brother meant as a leader, follows his order and willfully lowers his gun. Marcus, on his back, formally relents and accepts being bested with his honor intact, giving his order for his men to stand down. Bringing an end to the engagement.
A Glorious and valiant destiny was achieved as the falling rain dissipated along with the dank and misty air. The following hours passed as word among the men was received from the Campaign brothers, who wholeheartedly yielded to the powers of Jordyn, deeming him to be the champion elect for those who yielded themselves to him. The team eagle's men, commanded by the Campaign brothers, Marcus and James, then kneeled in surrender, with honor intact despite their defeat. Marcus shows a stoic example of leadership in such defeat as granted men perished. This was never meant to be a battle for the destruction of one another. Therefore, those who lived had their destined future to serve their purpose in following the cause of whoever was deemed worthy of being their championing Führer of this new age to follow in their footsteps. Whether it was Jordyn or Marcus didn't matter, for it would have had the same effect. However, those who've already perished in this wargame were seen to have successfully served their purpose as martyrs bearing the torch of the future of civilization. But all those who were alive at that moment bore witness. Jordyn stumbled as he was limping, firmly grasping at his gashed and maimed shoulder. Ever so slightly moving towards his combatant's flagpole, he bites the rope with his gashed mouth when he gets to the flag. Pulling with his last remaining might within his right arm, the blue, black, and gold eagle flag fell, followed by the red, white, and violet cobra flag. When it rose above the burning banner of the combatants, he gave a final war cry toward the heavens above them. His men of Team Cobra shot their muskets and revolvers and brandished their lances, swords, and axes in celebration, crying a great, echoing war cry in tandem with him.
