  15 years later – Chaos and screams

  Goblin Villager: “Run! Everyone, run! The humans are attacking!”

  Goblin Father: “Honey, take our son and run! I’ll stay and hold them off!”

  Goblin Mother: “No! I’m your wife and one of the village elders — I’ll fight with you!

  We’ll all survive and live together with our son.

  We’ll make the humans pay… for everything.”

  [Goblins fight bravely but slowly begin to lose]

  Goblin Mother: “You fight here — I’ll take the children and elders to safety first!

  Hold the line until I return!”

  [Time passes. Screams fade. Silence follows.]

  Aftermath – Human army leaves, the village is in ruins

  Goblin Father (dying): “Honey… I’m sorry.

  I couldn’t keep my promise…

  To give our son a peaceful life.

  Please… forgive me…”

  [MC wakes up – Breathing heavily, then laughs]

  “Heh… heh… HAHAHAHAHA!”

  “So… I didn’t die? And now I’m stuck in this worthless, weak little monster body?”

  [Laughs bitterly]

  “If there is a god… then he’s playing with me.

  He didn’t even let me die in peace.”

  [Looks up, screams in rage]
