Arya’s pov

  When Lynn told me to be prepared for the Charming boys to do this, I wasn’t phased. Now though I’m still not phased.

  “Ok. So as tradition dictates it’s going to be four questions, four tasks and four battles. How do you want to start challenger?”

  Alex’s words were very obvious, and it would probably be easier to start from the easiest which was the quizzes but that’s not fun, is it?

  “Battle, task and then quiz. Hurry up, my wife is still waiting for me after all.”

  My cousins ughed at that, they were teasing the Charming cousins at this rate though I’m pretty sure that was their pn from the start.

  Though the cousins didn’t really react to them and simply led us to the arena that was already set up, Alex gestured for me to get in and I simply listened while tightening up my tie, it would be an issue if it accidentally got loosened during the fight.

  “Ok. Four golden battles shall commence now, you’ll have to fight all the battles blindfolded but do not worry, there are no weapons in the ring. Any questions?”

  “How many per round?”

  Alex simply smiled and said,

  “That’s for you to find out! Cover her eyes!”

  Joe jumped into the ring at Alex’s words and took out a white blindfold from his pocket before covering my eyes with it, securing the blindfold in a double knot.

  With my eyesight gone I strained my ears as I heard approaching footsteps, I concluded it to be two people, two really heavy people. Alex said for the st time.

  “First round: challenger vs professional fighters! And start.”

  With that I felt two kicks coming towards my direction, normally I wouldn’t mind pying around with them but since this is a wedding trial, the faster I’m done the better it is. The wedding trials are still confusing to me but with that, I simply grabbed the approaching legs and pulled them to me, and in the next moment hit the nerves in their necks, knocking them out cold as they slumped heavily on the ground.

  “They are heavy. Next.”

  With that, my cousins were cheering loudly while continuing their teasing of the Charming’s as the two big guys were dragged out.

  The next sets of footsteps were lighter like they were floating around and not touching the ground. I mean they were silent yea, but like, why are their sprays so much? With a light cough, I recognized five different scents so five people and most likely men

  ‘women don’t spray this many!’

  “Round two is a bit silent…Anyways, challenger vs silent killers. Do not worry everyone; they aren’t killing anyone. And start”

  I decided not to move much, it’s one thing if I wasn’t blinded but since I was and they were light on their feet, it was better for them to come to me, they weren’t in a hurry as their scents spread around me for a while before a force came directly towards my tummy, I stepped back a bit before delivering a roundhouse to the opponent, my feet connected with his ear as his body left my atmosphere, I couldn’t tell what happened to him when both my arms were captured due to me moving back and two forces aimed directly at my chest.

  “I’m not to get this dress messed up you know!”

  With that, I jumped a bit to feel the weight of the two holding me before I moved. My feet lifted and roughly stepped on both their feet, the pain made them lose their hold on me by a bit and with room to maneuver I took a forceful step back while my hands held both their trousers and without any dey threw the right guy straight into the incoming kicks as I knocked the other guy to the floor and with a punch to his face knocked him out.

  I didn’t waste any more time as I rushed towards the remaining three and delivered a high kick to the nearest one and before the others could keep their distance, I grabbed them both by their necks and shoved their faces together, promptly knocking them out. I didn’t get to speak when I heard Alex say.

  “You’re really strong, though…”

  “Naturally.”

  That was Marvin, apparently fbbergasted at the thought that they thought I wouldn’t be this strong, I simply smiled before finally saying.

  “Two more rounds yeah?”

  “Yea. Do you want to take a break?”

  “Is the timer stopped, no? Then bring out the next punching bags.”

  “Sigh. You are a cocky girl Like it!”

  With that the next opponents were quickly ushered in, I frowned when I heard only one footstep, one that was loud. I raised my head with a frown as I assessed the tall man in front of me. I moved a few steps back before finally smiling and saying.

  “You brought a four-meter man to fight a two-meter woman? Fun.”

  “I don’t know how you got his height but you are correct. Now I have a question for you, would you prefer to mix both rounds and fight them all together or continue like this?”

  “Oh? That’s allowed? Ok, let’s mix it.”

  “Are you sure, even though I’m not confident you’ll get out unscathed?

  “Ah… so you are confident I’ll pass. I’m sure, y it on me.”

  With that numerous footsteps entered, the arena and they surrounded me.

  “1 2 3 4 5 6…11? Oh, I’m getting hit!”

  “Told you. Final round challenger vs ah! Just start!”

  Normally, eleven people can’t do much harm to me, to be honest, but I am blindfolded, I don’t know if they were informed or not but I usually fight with my eyes so it is novel but it also isn’t what I’m technically used to when a punch I couldn’t dodge got me in my arm I had decided to start training with my body restricted, well eventually.

  The first punch was simply the sign that I was about to receive more injuries as the second and then the third nded all while I was still dodging, my body moved as I dodged the bug guy’s kick which caused me to receive a kick in my knee as I knelt on the floor and the big guy punched out, straight to my face as my arms guarded my face with the punch nding, my body was about to fly out as I swiftly locked his arm in mine.

  ‘got you’

  With that, I was practically done as I used his body weight against him and swiftly climbed his body and reached his neck in the next second and before he could try to remove me, his neck was swiftly twisted as with a popping sound, he was out.

  I jumped away from his now falling body and unched my attack without dey, before his body finally crashed into the ground I had knocked down three more people, the rest were simply no longer a problem and soon I was done, I swiftly removed the blindfold and smirked cockily at Alex.

  “I won didn’t I”

  “You sure did,”

  He said still in shock as the medical personnel came to move out the unconscious bodies I jumped down the arena and went to Lynn who swiftly brought out a healing ray and healed my injury as she said to Alex.

  “How long did she take Charming boy?”

  “Um, fifteen minutes. She finished the harshest part of the trial in fifteen minutes. Your cousin is really strong!”

  “It would have been shorter if you guys talked less,”

  Grey said as he went to check on my makeup to make sure it was still stable and smiled proudly when he saw it still spotless and said,

  “The fastest time that a challenger used to finish a 12-trial challenge was one hour twenty-two minutes, I’m expecting you to break that shit!”

  I simply nodded and gnced at Alex who was preparing for the next challenge, the tasks and said to him.

  “Alex. Ready for the tasks cousin.”

  He simply flipped me off before we all collectively moved to the next area.

  “This looks so fun to set up. To bad we’re all challengers,”

  I ughed at Bc’s words as we all agreed to him, I mean Lynn was the only member willing to let a challenger in but she’s aroace so that’s off the table.
