I found the most peculiar Bush in Mothers garden today,
It bore Red fruit more Briliant that Ruby and more divine that most sweet candies.
Mother and Father both dismissed it as just a cherry bush that I didnt notice before
a vague reminder that the garden is filled with fruits and vegetables that I should be eating more often,
but this cherry tree had petals in shapes of hearts and was as soft as silk, I showed my kid siblings and they would run up and eat handfuls of them.
Each week the berries became more vibrant and deeper red even as the first Snow began to fall it really
was a strange. As the snow covered the landscape the plant glowed its irresistible Red Jewels under the faint moonlight.
So much talk of the Plant piqued fathers interest in it and asked the kids to go out and grab him some,

after a few minutes of complete Silence there was an anxious hum in the air as father got his boots on and headed out
only to be blasted in the face with wind cold enough to sting his face.
We called the Police and spent hours looking through the snow covered garden and nearby woods.
we search the highest of hills and the deepest of creaks.
Mother wont stop sobbing locked in her room and father drinks himself to sleep after the authorities gave up.
One somber night as the snow fell I noticed a few more of those cherry bushes appeared so I plucked a few from the new bushes..
The Taste made me tear up. it was soo good I'm sure the kids would have loved these.
I gather a few and bring them to Father, He found them extremely off putting and hesitantly took a bite I could see he too loved the taste,
as sweet as the Heavens.
Well that was until he bit into one that seemed fleshy the sound he made after finding a small
tooth in his mouth made us both run out of the house vomiting, the spot where the bushes were standing
is all uprooted as if it was dug up and a deep red trail leads into
the Woods...
